With the addition of the quasar cannon i thought the recoilless rifle would need a damage buff to compete. Seeing how this thing can 1 shot a tank yeah recoilless rifle gonna need a buff. @Thesavagesouls
My guess is it's not supposed to kill armoured targets, thus it'd be nerfed pre-release. I assume it's intended against large groups of lighter targets like the bugs or smaller bots.

unless they change it from this datamined version, i just saw a video that took three of these to kill it. explosions seem to be weak themselves but add up with sheer force.
what it kills is very consistent with what grenade spam can kill. so not recommended for biles with that very long reload unless you have someone willing to pick up your pack and help you spam them when biles show up

do be careful tho, I heard it detects the nearest enemy and then explode, so if you get jumped by a hunter the moment you shoot, ur dead xD

Anymore than a machine gun? I mean, getting rushed by bugs is bad enough, but firing one of these with a 6 second reload might take out a micro horde, but I think machine guns will be more effective at crowd control.
Especially the Stalwart, it's pretty good for dealing with most bugs besides chargers and bile titans, but then again, that's what I use my eagle 1 for.
@@Waroftheworldsz Then we just have to time it down. That means having someone be bait or wait till the enemies grouped enough. But, the MGs are good, I won’t deny. But at higher difficulties, the firepower is going to be important. In my opinion, Machine Gun beats Stalwart. Mostly because of both damage and penetration. Both very important and useful against most targets.

So its basically strong against big units, clusters of enemies but not tanky small units (hulk)
I hope they add a booster that decreases reload speed for all weapons called like practiced reload or something
At least sped up the reload for the senator when empty so thats pretty cool

A rocket that blows the fuck up, but just in case it, for some reason, did not kill an entire Automaton nation, it will, for a second time, blow the fuck up whilst airborne, which will send mini shrapnel out that also, once again, blows the fuck up.
TLDR; It blows the fuck up.
Really hope the game won't fall into constant power creep though

Love my rocket launcher, I main the recoilless, I prefer it over the quasar cannon, it take to long to fire and recharge for me, I can knock down 2/3 drop ships with the recoilless with reloads

Ya getting rid tanks in 1 hit is a big plus if it can oneshot chargers that will be amazing.
I doubt it will be released in this form. It will probably be nerfed against armored units
I don't think the armor matters when it can basically hit almost all the weak points because of the big cluster explosion of it.

So slow reload but incredible payload
The armor piercing capability is def gonna get nerfed
It's not really hitting the armor it's explosion radius is big enough to basically hit the weak points from the body.
Their first person reticles are horrible as they obstruct the view of the target…
Like the railgun and the spear wasn't irrelevant enough...

@@Underground3 If you’re playing on high difficulties the Railgun is very good, especially against bots. Against bugs it needs a buff.
Spear needs better tracking and a more consistent lock on, so you’re right about that one.
@@griffin1095 AMR and the Autocannon make the railgun completely redundant to use against the automatons. Why would I sit there and gamble a 90% charge shot that can bounce off the Hulk eye. When I can shoot it once and killed it with the AMR with its recent buffs?
The spear can be a great AT....if it freaking work, and again. Why would I use that over the EAT-17, quasar cannon, or the recoilless rifle?
@@Underground3Your gambling way more that the AMR shot doesnt bounce off lol. "be accurate" be accurate with the RG and it always 1 shots too. I prefer RG to both options lol, it can do anything both of them can do (Besides cannon vents) using less ammo and with more flexibility, plus i can take any backpack i want unlike Autocannon

Modding game files. The files exists and they spawn them in or they rename files and have them spawn in instead of something else

Look like weapon for automaton than terminid. Because AOE too large and explode on impact are disaster combo when it use against terminid.
I need HEAT weapon with max penetration, it is thing best for terminid because HEAT less AoE and higher penetration.

I rly hope they keep a healthy balance in this game the amount/variety of enemy’s on HELLDIVE is fine atm vs both factions however the new laser cannon should come with a backpack to use because it clearly outperforms the others…
it really doesn't tho. there are some really bad balancing decisions across the board but quasar is the most over rated weapon ive ever seen
QC is balanced by being the main support weapon, the wind up time, inefficiency in close range and the cool down time. The EAT is still great for an anti tank option along with a main support weapon and the RR is still good for reliable and quick anti tank even in closer quarters. The QC fits it's niche without invalidating the other weapons, which I think is perfect
that's going to get nerf so hard.
I think this gun has an average armor penetration. I assume that the power of each fragment is comparable to the power of a shot from an autocannon.

@@roronoazoro4855 Most likely, 4-5 fragments fell directly into the radiator, which led to the destruction of the tank.

Taking up a backpack slot and the 5 year long reload are really big negatives in the current meta. In its current form this won't see any use in 8 and 9. They really need to make it so people can team reload from your backpack without having to wear it themselves. I don't get why they refuse to do that.
I don't care about the meta. The game is not so difficult to play with only meta weapons. That's why I'm taking my MG to 7 difficulty and I want to reach the level of people who have achieved perfection in the possession of their MG, that now they are running around with machine guns on 9 difficulty and joking around. That's my goal.
