i hope once we get all 3 original mechs form HD1, devs will release some ship modules for them, more ammo and expo resistence or hp would come in handy
You know them terminals right across from the armory I feel like that's where we gonna get MK 1-2-3 upgrades and weapon attachments

Yea its definitely feel more for automaton front rather than bug bustin.
How is a mech "more for automatons" when all they do is take 2 rockets to explode...
Unless you get a icy/canyon map with tons of cover to peekaboo around... Still doesn't feel smooth, and no matter their weapons, I don't see how any type of mech will be smooth vs bots, compared to what the patriot already is against bugs.
@@ipatchymakouli415 they take way more then 2 rockets now. Rockets use to be bugged and dealing up to 4 time as much damage as they should. Doesn’t mean you are invincible but there is more video of that modder testing it against automaton gunship, factory strider and it shreds. He even takes a full salvo of rockets and doesn’t start fuming. There is another video out there of it being use in defence showing how it take around 3/4 shot to shoot down drop ship
If we’ll get more mechs, I want a special ship upgrade category just for them. We’d get upgrades like Increased health, increased ammo, less cooldown and lastly, more uses. It will actually make them good and useful for higher difficulty levels
There’s a section of our ship called the “Vehicle Bay” we’ve yet to unlock. That’d be what we upgrade for the modules
They need to buff the damage of the patriot mechs missiles back to what they were and this needs to be able to kill bile titans in the same amount of shots as the autocannon sentry
I knew something was off I shot all 13 rockets into 1 and it didnt kill it Thats a huge nerf lol it used to take 3

Don't need it bad even in HD1. We need EXO-51 Lumberer, this beast have flamethrower and anti-tank cannon can one shot any heavy unit
@@Boamere It was intended bcs the devs are afraid of making their game too easy, that's why they always create a situation which u are always on the down side compared to the soulless endless enemies. To the point that the lately biggest release they have to buff a lot of things bcs of this nonsense.
Yeah and aiming the rockets is fucking awkward now, they could have just made it so they needed to go a like a meters

If it takes that much hits to the face to bring down a bile titan I ain’t trusting this mech with the strider.
Striders have less health, it’d probably only take 8 shots to the right eye. Still hard to hit though
Well if this thing is basically a big ass Auto Canon then the factory striders front guns should take about two shots to destroy like the regular auto Canon.
There some other leaks of this thing squashing the Strider pretty quickly. Its a bot killer more so than bug. Also Bile titan hp is absurd and there is multiple types of BT and one has triple HP.
There is a video of a strider and it get shredded much faster
Shooting the belly out first would reduce that number.
I wish mechanic could resupply,
or maybe even get a laser mech,
with double laser cannons on one arm and double quasar cannons on the other!
kinda want to see an Arc version since it would change it into a tesla tank with inf ammo or at least have a cooldown but theoretically inf ammo

I think if in the far future they make one with flame thrower. Grande launcher. Energy weapon or anti air type? It would be interesting. Even more if it’s also kinda op
We need a way to resupply the vehicles. An ammo hauler vehicle that could that would be a great solution and a pretty fun playstyle tbh
Just give a supply pack a second reason. 1 ammo brick from it supplies 25% of either arm you walk to refill.
or just have an upgrade where it adds an extra use or add a 4th variation armed with tesla coils on each arm.
@@TheTroubleshooter knowing Arrowhead, mech will zap itself with tesla and will selfdeatruct at landing.
This issue will be in the known list after 3 months.
god I seriously hope they'll fix the patriot's rocket pod's aiming and offset by the time this thing's released, it's borderline useless right now, I can live with the direct hit dmg thingymajig they added recently to it but not the fucked up aiming. Like did they really think the rockets being shot on the LEFT SIDE of your reticle a good idea, when doing the fix for the mech randomly exploding bug, intended or not?
It was a quick and dirty fix, now people aren’t randomly exploding and losing their exo its way lower on the priority list.
@@brilobox2 honestly, at this point I'd rather have that bug than how it is currently, all you had to do was wait until your mech's fully turned, which didn't take long most of the times, before shooting. I maybe died like 2-3 times from shooting rockets while turning bc I was hasty but that was more my bad than anything, and I played the mech basically every single game at one point (until the rocket aiming got fucked)

I'd rather them do the same thing Warthunder does and give it two muzzle reticle, one for the pod and one for minigun.

3 shots to take out a tower cannon, 10 for a shrieker nest. So yeah I'd say it's almost if not completely equal damage.
Except it has a lot of ammo, barely any recoil, can rapid fire both cannons very fast.
Plus heavy armor pen
And has a larger explosive radius.
Its more so like the autocannon sentry; our autocannon is like a 20-25mm, The autocannon sentry is a 40mm.

The enemies seem to still aim for the helldiver when in the mech. Only aiming for the actual mech when the helldiver exits......yea.....

Too less ammo even they buff penetration of this cannon compare EXO-48 Obsidian in HD1 (250 rounds). I suggest we can resupply ammo for this thing, because they use 20mm ammo like autocannon.
It's not good enough against bile titans. Hopefully they up the armor penetration or something.

yeah its good- but the idea that "its only for bots" makes no sense- the only reason the patriot is "For bugs" is because its weapons and armor are too light for the bot front.
The emancipator has increased armor and weapons... or at least it should be- the armor IS stronger than the regular patriot- BUT the main Guns (Quad Autocannons) are for some reason weaker than even the players normal autocannon stratagem and the Sentry- this is weird because- why would adding an extra 3 guns of the same Weapon Type- make it weaker?
Lore wise its just weird for this to be the case- gameplay wise- it sucks that it does not do enough damage on either front- bots or bug- the only reason it even works on bots is the armor pen on the autocannon- but i assure you- if you put a player- sentry and mech- side by side and told each to kill the same enemy type- the player and sentry will kill it much much quicker-
its like saying- just because it works in a certain situation that its "Good" even tho it falls short on every other aspect yk?
i like BOTH the mechs and its satisfying to play- BUT just because its "Passable/good" doesnt mean its done well-
(FYI ive used both mechs on helldives on BOTH fronts multiple times since the emancipator so im not just "complaining" i can use them fine- and clear helldives with them- its just a matter of- why should they be this weak? when theres already more powerfull stuff out there? how does nerfing 4x the guns with 1/4x the damage make any sense?)
they really need to make it kill biles more efficiently...maximum...and i mean Maximum 10-12 shots...Coz if you can take down a hulk and a tank in 2-6 shots theres no reason you need 25+ for a bile titan
Guys, here me out:
A mech with gatling gun on the right, and ballistic shield on the left. It could even move a bit slower to compensate for the tankiness.
Seems more geared to bots than bugs.

So, if you're using the Emancipator Exo and encounter a Bile Titan: Get out off the Exo, run up to the Bile Titan and start punching it - better chance to kill the Bile Titan than using the Exo Guns. 😄

Laughable how many shots the Bile Titan is tanking to the face, even though it's mush it's still going strong - looks worse than Rocky after his first fight against Apollo, lol
Would love a laser mech
It needs 50-80% of all its ammo to kill 1 bile titan and after we have 10 minutes cooldown and only 2 uses. I think this mechs(patriot and emancipator) really weak comparing to something like quasar+shield+orbital laser+500kg or airstrike. Like you cant replace anything in this set with mechs because in any way it will be worse and doesnt give any advantages.
How are you so bad at math?

imagine a squad of 4 2 in these 2 in the patriot, the patriot to clear small bugs and these guys for the big ones.

The Patriot is still the best overall mech. Even on HD1 it was the best one to use. But I love the look of the Emancipator.
For the bugs perhaps but binging the patriot to the bots is a sure way to die quickly. They need to buff health or armor on these things, ac will surely help actually kill any bots but you will still take massive dmg from rockets and mgs.

So it's just a slightly beefed up autocannon, pretty neat
well it provides you with immunity to light + fire immunity and heavy resistance to medium atks.
plus you can cross water and use shield pack while on it

The Shredder tank is weak af. 2 grenade launcher shots anywhere on the turret destroys it. The turret has way less armor than the Annihilator.
@@brilobox2 yeah, and? It's actually hea y armor still. Your grenades are hitting its vent which grenades are affective with. Same thing with annilator. So uh, yes why not test it with the exo 48? A mech that doesn't shoot grenades
@@shrillyvr3270 Those cannons have heavy armor pen on direct hits. I'm sure it's do just fine against them. Also it shreds Striders shooting its eyes.

This only applies to bots of course, with bugs I can see it being okay, but even if you WERE tanky, you'd run out of ammo so damn fast it'd be insane.
There needs to be a way to repair and resupply mechs.

I don't make the rules we mark things before shooting them, its just what we do. (it actually allowed me to get a hulk kill through some trees like an hour ago so it does help)
I think helldivers was ok at launch, but now with all of these vehichles and stuff coming, I think I might just give up. The game is already too easy, we don't need this. I was on helldive yesterday and easily killed 2 factory striders on solo without dying. Yall need to get good lol #2moreworlds
