My sweet beautiful Radhi, Dill and fennel fronds are different herbs 🥰 I only discovered this when I began gardening myself and planting both dill seeds and fennel seeds which look and smell different as seeds 🙃
Loved your salad but what I loved more was the mention of thank you to all the people who grow the ingredients and nourish us with their produce. I do that too
Its the best salad I ever tried.. Its my third day and I still have 3 more portions left for next two days... The way you simplified is sooooo good.... so many things in one bowl and yet soooo simple to make....
I am new to your channel and this is my first video I watched . I cried when you gave thanks to God and for the people who grew it. I was currently eating veggies from my garden that I went through so much just to get it to the point where I could harvest it from deer devouring everything to bugs, and just the constant battle that it has been this year, you giving glory and gratitude to the Lord definitely touched my heart. Love your heart and passion for the foods that you cook. Thank you so much for being a light and sharing such a delicious recipe.❤
Love you Radhi! Just wanted to let you know that fennel fronds and dill are two different plants with completely different flavors. You can definitely use the fennel fronds in a variety of ways, but they are not a flavor substitute for dill 🥰
Think you're delightful but need to correct a few things......The skins on most hard root vegetables..carrots, parsnips, even potatoes are where the richest nutrients lie in the veggies. They should be scrubbed well with a semi soft produce brush or soaked in a bath of baking soda/bicarbonate of soda, water and lemon juice for 3-5min then scrubbed clean under fresh water. Of course they can be peeled but are easily disgestable with the rest of the veggie. Yellow and Red skinned potatoes only need to be washed unless someone just doesn't like the peel. Brown skinned potatoes skins are great with a brush of oil and seasoned with salt then roasted on the oven rack uncovered for up to an hour at 400F/205C depending on size and come out crispy like a french fry. Fennel Fronds are not Dill, these are 2 completely different things, one a veggie and the other an herb. The Fennel Bulb has a slight licorice taste but the bulb gets sweet when roasted and the Fronds hold a slight citrus/licorice flavor. Keep up the good work and positive attitude!!
This would be right in a world where all fruits and vegetables would be 100% organic. Given the fact that we live in our world, removing the skin prevents us to eat the biggest quantity or pesticides present in fruit and veggies that sits right on the skin and for a fact do not go away by washing the vegetables. And you might say, of course I meant organic, but hey not everyone can afford that 😅
Radhi thank you for teaching us so much more than ‘just’ a salad. Thank you for who you are! Your lifestyle is an inspiration to me. And you’re so funny and kind 🥰 big fan 😊 love from the netherlands
The salad look amazing, I can't wait to make it. I love that FLOW water is sold in the states since its made from the spring of a tiny county in Ontario Canada!
Carrots 🥕 are in fact healthier when they are NOT peeled because the skin layers are very nutrient dense. Dill and fennel even if they look similar are actually not the same plants ☺ Nice salad mix , I'll try that some time soon! I love the carrot chopper 👍💛
I felt Radhi was speaking about the ayurveda side of the raw exterior of the carrot being harder to digest, which is one the main reason she prefers to peels it.
You saved me from saying this It’s the same with potatoes The minerals and b12 are in the skin of these foods as this is what is exposed to the soil which contains all the minerals and b12 that we need ❤️
Oh Radhi! You are so lovely and funny! I stopped eating healthy food for a wild cause i am in a tuff period of my life and I lost the joy to prepare it. But tonight, you just put me back on the track! That’s exactly the kind of salad that I used to prepared long time ago! Soooo delicious! Thank you!!, all your videos are delightful! Namaste
Such a great salad! Thank you for putting the recipe overlayed on the screen. Your carrot grater is perfect and makes the best size! I love your salad bowl. Thank you so much for all the helpful tips and the beautiful prayer of gratitude! 🌷😊🌺
Hi Radhi, this salad is outstanding! It has an amazing burst of flavour and feels light in the stomach! It's so filling! I made this recipe using true element quinoa and it was so crunchy and complimeneted good with the recipe!
Fennel leaves are longer than dill leaves and taste distinctly different. However, both are used in cooking and garnishing purposes. Fennel features a distinct black liquorice taste that is absent in dill. dill has therapeutic effects on the digestive system, controls infection, and has a diuretic effect.
Love this! I never knew that trick about oil, pepper, & lemon juice in raw veggies. My body doesn't like raw veggies so this was very helpful. Thank you!
Hi radhi, This is chaitanya.I used to live in usa and back to India.if I saw your video about salads while I was in usa , i would have eaten salads for lunch everyday, you make it look so delicious
I just finished making a big salad for my family and I sat down for a break and tuned into your channel... so cool that you’re making a big salad 😋 We love cilantro in ours and red onion or green onion, celery, red cabbage, zucchini and olives ( plus most of what you used) and yes one of my fave dishes too 👏🏼🧡🙏
Remembering and showing sense of gratitude to the farmers and the divine for providing this food.. before eating makes huge difference in your lives.. Really very beautiful see you implementing..😊
You are such a beautiful soul. I have never in my life been so intrigued with creating and eating a salad. The. way you brought thanks to the farmers, the sun and God has truly changed my view on healthy foods and eating in general. Thank you so much for this amazing video.
Radhi, Thank you & God Bless you. I will certain make this. Every time I watch your videos, I become a more happier and positive person. And I love what you said, we all have our strengths and weaknesses and that's why we are Human.
Just found your channel and am now subscribed. This salad looks amazing and how beautiful of you to remind us all of how important it is that we give thanks to God. Thank you 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you for that lovely prayer in the end there. I have been thinking about ways to integrate gratitude but without the church or religion. That was beautiful. Will start that with my little one😍
Thank u for being a motivation to others. In ur next videos rather mention whatever u prefer or to ur liking regarding methods because u will always get haters that can't even do much for themselves. Good job. Keep it up.
I took a lot from this video. Just what I needed. Now I am making salads that I really enjoy eating and especially love making them as my dinner without the need to cook something. Great video and thanks for sharing. Cheers.
I have always been searching good salad recipe....this is just perfect.... I love wholesome food just like you! I make my salad in a similar way ....I also like adding stir fried beans with some roasted peanuts for chrunchyness
Looks really appetizing. Lots of love from India. And also please do some Indian weightloss recipe. It will really help me gain my confidence back. Please!! And lots of love from India 💛💛
I'm not a messy cook and managed to create a mess with this one! (LOL) BUT, despite the time it took to prep, it was well worth it and went down quick! Every bite was delicious and different--sweet, tangy, crunchy, creamy! Just as described! YUM.
I am sooooo messy when I cook or do anything really. I can work in a messy environment. If you've heard of the MBTI types, I can tell you're an ENFP (i'm INFP) and it's because of our dominant extraverted intuition that makes us this way. It's what makes us super creative too! (I reckon Jay is an ENFJ) You have the cutest kitchen utensils... I hope to have a kitchen like that one day (when I move out from home)
I just subscribed and I just wanted to drop in and say thank you for being so real in your video! It was so nice to see the entire real process instead of like a voiceover and like these really pretty clips of what everything looks like LOL when I cook it looks exactly like what you’ve just done with the salad. God bless and can’t wait to see more of your videos! ✌️❤️💯❤️✌️
ahhh don't worry Jay , I am the same as your wife "a messy cooker" but the outcome will mostly delicious...what can you say we are the creative ones just like the painters, they are messy when they paint. Thank you for sharing Rahdi..love your show

Wow, I stumbled up on this video and enjoyed every moment of the presentation. The tips, the comedy, the ideas, the ingredients of the salad, awesome. I will be purchasing the gadgets, and trying this salad. I always wanted to try the fennel, now I know what to do with it. This was my first video, and I am sure it won't be my last. You really give a good presentation. KUDOS

They probably damaged that spring so much for profits.
