very important note though: do NOT use the override pin in your campaign unless you plan on resetting it soon or are damn sure you dont need to return to that world. This is because if the boss is defeated after the pin is used, then the world is locked away permanently until you reset it all, thus preventing you from doing anything else in N'erud and losing all progress towards events/weapons that you didnt already get to. Also note that though rarer, the world may spawn with a completely different quest which will involve a different final boss and quest progress.
But yeah, overall if you want to go for the pin.. do so on an adventure world.
Excellent points here! We only encountered this boss in adventure mode, but if you have it in campaign 100% suggest saving this alt method for adventure mode!
Darn, I was wondering why it was locked.😂
@@ArekkzGaming basically the other boss of N'erud is if your starting area has "prison" in the name... basically in such a world the entire main questline is completely different (no items to collect to open a door, instead have to bring a special item to an NPC that doesnt even exist in the other questline)
it's locked away no matter what if you defeat any of the final bosses
@@oyasumichansu weird pretty sure I can return here on my campaign where the final boss was defeated without using the pin. hell if I couldnt, i wouldnt have been able to turn in the quest to the curator after beating the boss (and I definitely hopped worlds after killing the boss). Maybe its turning in to him then that locks the world in that case... i'll need to check if I still have access (didnt try to return here after turning in that quest sicne I instead rerolled adventures to hunt for things like the plasma cutter and pulse rifle that my campaign world didnt spawn)
Everytime I think im done with Ne'rud they PULL ME BACK IN
Very important : the key is not in a Dungeon there is in free Area from Horizon ..there is a temple in the middle of the World . Near the spaceship.
I swear, almost every remnant 2 video I have watched has been wrong in some way.
This saved my life, thanks
THANK YOU!!!
@@neondystopianbecause it’s all random
You’re a godsend thank you
The overide pin is found in the room that looks like the area with the seeker keys in timeless horizon, it doesn't have a seeker key
For those struggling like me, the key is in an overworld area, for me it was Timeless Horizon
Same thing happen to me when I was playing in adventure mode, thanks for the info
So like it's in a different dungeon or do I need to explore around timeless?
@@jjr2626 if you cant find it at the place where you find the seekers key, try lookin for it at Timeless Horizon... The should be a place where you find the iconic crystal material to craft the energy wall mod, you should be able to find the override pin there
@@jjr2626 explore around timeless if you look at your map it should be an elevated area like a second floor on the map
@@jjr2626it's in a temple type building that spawns in timeless horizon that has one of the seeker key statues that doesn't actually have a seeker key. The hidden entrance is to the right of the statue. The video wasn't completely accurate, as per usual with remnant 2 content, lol
i am on this area now, will definitely give it a try. Thanks for the info
Does the regular fire mode count as explosive damage?
I got this yesterday, very cool weapon.
I originally started out as hunter..switch to challenger for a chall/medic build...playing back on my hunter..was always gonna go with hunter/gunslinger...im just worried about surviving
Joined someone’s session beat the boss and ended up getting it!😎
This was my first boss weapon I got at the beginning and I still use it!
What system are you on?
@@Grimlock987 PS5
@@soulkai, can you help me get that weapon?
@Grimlock987 most definitely, I can help you out tomorrow after church if that's okay with you?
I want it baddd
So from leaving the first room you spawn in timeless horizon or is it one of the dungeon doors around the world cause it takes me from phantom wasteland to the boss after I find the keys
Dame I’ll have to do that in my second play
I did this on accident. Thought this was how i was supposed to finish this world in my campaign 😅
Yeah this was my first world and first main boss weapon I got. Blew up nerud and wasn’t able to get back lol. Apparently there’s a way to get back but even after beating the game I couldn’t figure it out
I dont think its possible at all.. the only way to return being to basically reset your campaign if you did it during the campaign
@@thorveim1174start an adventure run instead
@@IamTheCursedKing which is indeed what i did! (didnt even know the pin existed my first time around, and stumbled upon it by chance when trying to hunt for otehr loot in adventure)
@@thorveim1174 just got the game. Does that mean you lose all your progress? Or is there a new game plus?
@@FireHydrantForeheadNyquil there is a form of it: basically you can create a more temporary form of any world with the adventure mode. Also resetting the campaign doesnt delete your gear and levels so no matter what you keep all your stuff; the only thing that you do lose by resetting the campaign is key items. Overall the game is designed around resetting as world are different from one run to the next (especially since each world has two different storylines that can happen)
And resetting the whole campaign may be a necessity anyway for some items to be obtainable, like the tormented heart that requires that you get both the nightweaver and sha'hala in the same campaign (since you are trying to put a key item from that version of Nerud in the nightweaver web).
I was literally looking for this last night and couldnt find it, so I just activated normal boss but didnt kill.... is it still possible to find key and use pin or too late since boss is activated?
nope, the boss fight will start right away after u enter the room. You can start an adventure mode and keep rerolling until u get timeless horizon, and then roam until u find the un named seeker tower
Do you have to be in adventure mode to get this?
U said u need adventure mode, but can't u do this if u get the seeker quest on your campaign?
you can, but its NOT recommaned.. because once you beat this version of the boss, you are locked out of that world until resetting. its a much better idea to do it in adventure sicne adventure worlds are made to be reset once you reached your current goals with them
@@thorveim1174 Wanted to point out, if you do the "normal" mode of the boss, the world locks out when you go back and talk to the Caretaker. I did the normal mode in my first run, and when I went to go back last night N'erud was locked out for me.
@@kedolan4992 even after talking to the caretaker it takes a while... Saw 12 irl hours spend playing your character tossed around as a number, though after that it opens a new area, Alepsis Taura, which is an empty space with no interest save for one relic you can pick up (and one of the prerequisites for reaching the Archon archetype)
Killed myself twice with this weapon 😅😂, funny one that supernova, i like it for the fun aspect
Im pretty sure this weapon is glitched. It upgrades to 20 and all other boss weapons upgrade to 10. That would explain why it does far less damage than the stat screen says it should.
Boss weapons are a misnomer. For some reason, the community keeps calling them boss weapons when you can find such weapons out in the wild. There's just two tiers of weapons. Weapons that require three types of materials to upgrade and then there's weapons that require only two.
@@neondystopian The vast majority that require luminite are crafted from boss parts.
Anyone else getting plasma cutter vibes from this? Maybe some Dead Space vibes?
More like line gun
By any chance, is it a fusion rifle?
Thats the goddamn ASMD Shock Gun from UT
How do u get the weapons past lvl 10?
Im on my 10th reset and still havent seen that secret room, am i doing anything wrong or am i just unlucky
Nevermind, literally found it 10 minutes later, it was in a tower that didn't have a key available
Can’t do it in adventure mode. It’s part of campaign quest
Yep I done fucked myself and hit the start boss button instead of inserting the damn pin.... Now I have to reroll and do everything all over again.
Same :(
That secret room for the override pin didn’t spawn for me
I’m mad. I didn’t get the weapon and followed this 🤔 I’m confused now lol
How have i been through 10 of those rooms with the seeker keys, and never saw that passage? Crazy
@@pleaseenteradifferentusern3665 Why? Adventure mode can't have it?
@@Ferret_mcs Pretty sure the video says it REQUIRES adventure mode
@@izorion6443 Video is just bad, the override key isn't in an actual seeker key room, just a similar room that doesn't have the seeker key, and if you got that specific boss on the campaign you can do it
@@Ferret_mcsI just spent the better part of the last 2 hours checking all three seeker key rooms in my campaign playthrough just to come back and read the comments 😭😭. This is why you should always check the comments first before pausing the video lmaoo
@@izorion6443 it doesnt lol
So I accidentally done the override pin, just had it and thought I had to use it, does this ruin the story/outcome of my first play through?
No
I killed the boss but I got a weapon mod instead
Yeah you gotta be careful with this gun. You can and will kill yourself and teammates with this gun.
Star killer beat this weapon by an long shot
Secret room next to statues was never there for me
🤦♂️🤦♂️ it’s not where a seeker keys are it’s separate tower🤦♂️🤦♂️
yeah, he gave some bad info on that one.@@goltarex2
Did this quest 3 times. The corridor for the pin does not exist
I did it 16 times it's like it doesn't exist
It's not in a seeker room, it's in an unnamed tower in the second area.
@@houtarouoreki3165Check the timeless horizon or equivalent over world
Its bad to say i accidentally used the override pin on my first campaign didnt know all i had to do was use the console.😂
I haven't done this version yet, but I assume it's the same as Remnant 1. Many of the bosses have alternate reward conditions, and depending on if you do the main or alternate route, you get a different reward. Depending on your build/what you want from the boss, doing it one way vs the other might be better, but you can always go back in adventure mode to farm up the other version (as well as other rewards leading up to the boss, since those are RNG as well).
APP, Helion
I call BS. I've run this again on adventure mode and campaign mode and none of the seeker key rooms have a side corridor
Same, I just went through it, got all 3 keys and no passage in any of the rooms :(
It's not in a seeker room, it's in an unnamed tower in the second area.
@@Dex_A I eventually found it, the room looks similar for sure. Glad I finally got to do that part :)
I never even see arekkz name in yall coop games anymore is he just completely done with gaming
He left Arekkz gaming a few months back to pursue other adventures.
@MrDoomsmith I know he doesn't wanna fo the youtube anymore I'm talking about just playing the game in general. I never see his name in-game
He is mostly done, he sold his consoles and gaming collectibles. :(
@ArekkzGaming aw dang, that's unfortunate and a bit sad to lose a gaming buddy like that. I understand he has his reason but what a legend...
@@ArekkzGaming damn that hurts
I just spent HOURS redoing the map to get the pin for the gun and interacted with the wrong (left) button instead of the one below at the very and and have to redo the entire map. FUCK THIS GAME
I got the damn key in story mode buy complete overlooked that's where the thing goes smh
Why tell people to get this when it messes up our game lol
we should focus on finding the last class, it has something to do with the labyrinth so it really shouldn't be taking this long
Its already been found, it literally leads to the backrooms (not even kidding)
Archon, just got it yesterday
I complete the story and forget to use key... 😅
Now there is nothing there to use my key
