polygun is amazing! It swathes through vet enemies like hot butter, and nightmare doesn't know what hit it! Not good for apoc, though.
Also, this is most likely a bug, but there is an easier way to get this weapon: Start a new campaign(sorry, must be done for this.), get to the lab and fully unlock it. Next, head to the location of cube 11 and use a grenade or the meridian to shoot where the cube *should* be. Then progress to 12 and 13 like normal. U skip the 10 previous cubes! Be careful, because dying while doing it this way may stop the cube from spawning, soft-locking u out of the gun
jezz that is very hard for me but I will give it a shot
there is a way to get it by onely shooting the last 3 crystal tingies. you just need a explosive weapon for the first of those 3. do it before they patch it. otherwise this weapon is not worth your time :P

the description of the gun is writen in hex, meaning UNABLE TO LOAD OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS - "NOT FOUND", and the description of the mod is writen in decimal, meaning MOD - TOGGLE COMBAT FIRING MODES
One of the msgs talks about not losing the security lanyard . So i put on the gunfire game security lanyard and the msg changed to something about safty goggles . An quick look at the item list for the dlc tells us there is an item survivors mask but it doesnt exist in game yet according to wiki but the item is a pair of safty goggles . So this got me to thinking something else going on with this gun

@@elliottbetancourt6914They aren't nerfs, let me explain why, the devs add new things into the game that actually make the guns stronger but you have to use the right builds and find the way to make the guns stronger then they were post "nerf". The right build and you'll find a way to make any of these weapons better then they were.
Not all the was true nightfall is a S tier weapon and enigma both are pretty ready to get. Anguish is finally good but this gun doesn't look worth the effort
Builds are hitting higher DPS numbers with more variety after the patch. You just have to adjust said builds for new interactions.
@@LegacyGamingUS I’m actually a huge fan of the Royal Hunter Bow and the Crossbow, so seeing their buffs made me so happy.
Did it first try alone! After taking it as slow as possible. Knowing how janky mantling is in this game I had a heart attack EVERY single jump towards the end. Cool weapon to have for the collection that I probably won't use. It will go perfect in a storage closet next to my Anguish.

hey Codiak - just a heads up, sir -> I died by falling when jumping to Cube # 11 about five (5) times before I actually stuck the jump & burst the invisible light sphere with the new Thorn Main Weapon. I also avoided Cube’s 1-10. Thanks a million for the awesome content, Team!
I love collecting guns and stuff in these types of games so I'm going after it even though it's going to be hell
before the patch to fix the quick and easy way. you can just progress through the labyrinth like normal pass the cube boss. go down and around the stairs 6:30, then shoot the cubes there. thats how i got it, my friend showed me.

not only it a task to get this darn thing....but reload require you to do perfect reload like Gear of war in order to get the benefit. yeah i wish i can do it more often but we make alot of mistake in the heat of battle and result? i either just ignore the perfect reload or get myself shocked , adding reload mini-game for a gun in Remnant is probably not a good idea
Agreed....at least makeing the area for the perfect reload a bit bigger would have helped...
I like the perfect reload idea but feel like it should be a bonus (like it was in Gears of War) rather than a requirement to use the gun. That or make it easier, or of that would be op (somehow) give it an interaction with reload speed or heat reduction.
This is a no brainer for those who played star wars battlefront 2, basically the same reload concept
not to be that guy, but that seems like a skill issue
@@EinManU It IS a skill issue but the problem is that the battlefront 2, gears of war, etc. give you a large enough magazine so that you aren't constantly trying to reload during a fight. Plus the pace of combat is much higher in remnant 2 than those games.
So with the 9th cube you dont actually have to drop all the way down to it. You can shoot it from the bridge before you go up. Just hit a 180 and look down. Hope this helps someone!
Before the spiral staircase, I did see cube 9 below the curved path of the bridge. Thanks for helping us save time!
It's not bad, strong in my HuGs build. Issue is you are in trouble if you miss the reload, also biggest problem is the timer, 5 seconds to get to the next reload, which if you take too long the purple arc will overload causing you to take damage and you are back to 2 shots base of the gun. I've had too many moments where I was 4 out of 5 shots and the timer loses a cube count and my gun jammed when I took that 5th shot. Happens even more when you are on 3 shots and it slips back to 2 shots.

You CAN use an explosive gun, like corrupted meridien and START with cube 11 and skip the first 10, its how i did it, its there, just invisibile.

Yeah, a interesting idea, but unfortunately with the shovel and various other ammo resolving options added as well as it burning your mod slot it is an under-performer for apocalypse play, especially vs cube gun. Cool looking though. Tried it out, interesting little gun, but needs like double the shot capacity to even by viable as a fun-gun to mess around. Two or three shots a reload will get you killed fast. Now the Needler weapon....
Two shots to three shots to four to five to 5 seconds of no buildup on a five shot bar. Works better with fire rate improvments
@@incrediblewhale5627 Tried it, takes a sec to build up, most fights can be ended with a better gun before you reach that point. At least on my builds that is. Sparkfire is pretty solid for my needs, kills several enemies by the time you hit the 5 shot sweet spot with the Polygun.
got to admit...it looks kinda crappy, probably get you killed in higher levels. But i'm a collector so i will get it and probably mount it on my trophy wall.
Also if you somehow die after hitting Cube 10, when I died it didn't respawn when I got back to the backrooms. Not sure if it's a bug but it already counted as destroyed so it won't mess up the order when you start from 1.
You can just skip to Cube 11.
They seriously need to adjust this gun...its cool and allows you to have a full lab set with the archon armor, cube gun and staff...but man is it sad to use...if it was at least 3 or 4 times more powerfull, the reload wouldent seem so bad....or adjust the sweet spot for the reload to be easier...but as it is, its a low to mid tier gimmick gun for fashion imo

Great video as always! But I am so lucky I was able to start on the 11th cube, and get this awesome weapon, before the patch!!!
Ok it could be the hardest weapon to find if the search wasnt bugged, i got this by following the instructions from some random dude in fextralife, just destroy the first white cube and go straight for the 11th, he will be invisible so use an explosive weapon to break it, the plataforms will show up and you can get the weapon after 2 more cubes.
Its not patched yet so hurry up until the devs make that 11th cube immune to dmg until the 10th is destroyed.

Btw if you are doing this co-op for anyone that does this in the future, if one person dies, it messes up the whole thing, and you have to reset. Also I experienced a crash during the whole thing (I wasn’t host), and it didn’t mess up, so don’t worry if this happens, also got stuck into the loading screen from leaving the Backrooms, it seems closing your app during this (at least) doesn’t mess it up as well.
love this game but its a bit sad to see how much work went into these little things when playing coop still causes major memory leaks
There's an easier way to get it. All you need is the last three after cube boss which are invisible but you know you hit it when you here the noise.
I did this but the gun didn't spawm for me, I guess they fixed 😢

@@JaspionSamurai you have to reroll the campaign mode. I did it 10 min ago and it worked fine for me. I hit the invinsible cube with THorn and mod active.

All you have to do is go to the same. Spine grew up behind the staircase, but instead of shooting all those random cubes. All you have to do is shoot up a specific spot on the wall that you're facing should have a legend. Shoot explosive at it. It will spot a platform. That you're able to jump on then. Shoot the orb, they'll be dangling above you or somewhat above. You in front of you and a plot from will appear, then jump on that platfor him and then the wall that usually disappears to get the weapon, just shoot the wall of another explosive weapon, ill disappear and grab the weapon.
you can cheese 10/13 mysterious cubes btw, the process works from the 10th white cube and you can start from there if you die. Still working. literally just did it for some random that didn't have it. May 1st 2024
Took me 1 hour to get from reroll story and just speed run there and only went for the last 3 hidden cubes at the end. I didn't die, but a friend who did it he died once, and I was still there.

Don't know if yall have done this, but if have crown of the red prince plus his helmet. You can bring that Nimue and craft the True Crimson Crown. +35 to fire resistance
The great feeling of accomplishment when you finaly get it, hmmm. Now what is even more chalenging is doing the Band Band ring with complete strangers especially if most of the time you play solo.
I didn't do any of these steps, just noticed a gap between the stairs as you leave from talking to Clementine, went between. Jumped down a couple spots, shot 3 cubes and had the gun!
You noticed the invisible cubes and shot them with an explosive weapon you mean lol. We know, it's an exploit that is already patched on their end.
And when I say wrong, I don’t mean that you cannot do it this way, but it’s a lot easier if you open everything up to the inter-sanctum you basically shoot three cubes and you jump on the platform and grab the gun without all this other stuff
So do i got to make a new game and not die true the hole thing or just as i start shooting the cubes

Is step 10 glitches on you go to step 11 for some reason it'll count the cube I don't know why but I have the gun

just start with cube 11...u will not see it but its there...if u have meridian u can shoot a granate at the spot and destroy the cube so the last cubes will be there....just bypass all that hard shit :)

All done in one Run no switching campaign and advanture no you must porgress until without dying once or restart thing :P

Seems a little crazy having a gun that needs a Perfect reload in a game where you are constantly dodging and having to pay attention to what’s going on with the enemies trying to kill you.
with that kind of trade off i was expecting something alot stronger, its nice to have both a shotgun and rifle in 1 slot if you ignore the reload mech but idk maybe if it was somthing like nightfall where if you did the perfect reload to the max the gun would give you "free ammo" and/or turn full auto for both modes or even fire off one of those death cubes from the lab cube boss would be cool

Iam pretty sure I rerolled my campaign after the forgotten king dlc. I had to get some other items and just experience the game again. I did everything and got to the polygon location but wasn’t there?

Considering the weeks it took to find the Archon, this is pretty damn quick.
Definitely faster than Archon, but that was tied to datamining. This was straight up people scouring The Lab for hours on end
Also folks who are gonna attempt this make sure you've got the Cube Gun in your inventory after you get the corrupted version!
I made the dumb mistake of forgetting to craft it again after getting to cube 10, had everything except the cube gun for the backrooms lmao. Pain but it was on me, so just making sure no one else had to suffer the same way as well.

I did this apocalypse difficulty (forgot i was on it). Died 2 times, once by an orb enemy elite and second by sliding to an edge instead of rolling

Anguish got buffed and was the best secondary in the game with no exception

100% is, you can get it in 30 seconds... If you are smart enough you will find a way to get this in no time if you just go to the area after the cube gun and play around. . Least until it gets 💀

Can someone please tell me how in the hell you would find any of the secrets in this game without watching a UA-cam video or data mining any of it? Bonus points for linking a discussion video on the subject!
Getting ploygun is very easy defeat the boss, and head straight to the 11th cube, now get out your thorn gun from dlc patch and you'll see that you can shoot a marked target in that general area. Shoot enough times and you'll hit the 11th cube with the explosion that the thorn causes. Afterwards you can continue the last few cubes as if you were to get the ploygun. Easy like lemonade🍋🍋
all you need is a weapon with splash damage the cube is just behind a rock so Meridian also works.

You can also use a pipe bomb. Tried and succeeded.

As cool and unique the gun acquisition and reload mechanism are, I will never get or use the gun ever. That looks like a pain in the rear to deal with, even if it's a high dps weapon.

I guess next DLC will be on N'erud. We had expansions for 2 of the current overworlds so the 3rd one seems logical.

N’erud is weird because it’s story basically concluded already. Everyone is dead except for Talratha and the AI. Then they yeet themselves into the black hole and are presumed to have died. They could do some wacky stuff with the black hole like time travel, show us the past where everyone was still alive

It's a bug, it will be patch. Even you come back shooting the rest after getting the gun, won't give you anything new. Beside sharpen your cube shooting skill.
I just wish they would have given us a hidden class being that there going to give us one more DLC.
I found what I thought was a cube for this puzzle, but now wonder if it is part of the Labyrinth boss.
On the way to Leto's MK2 before killing the boss I say and shot what looked like a cube weak spot at the climbing puzzle. It crumbled like one of the death dice.
What did I shoot?
its a part of the cube boss, now when you fight it itll have one less piece you gotta shoot

I just tried to do this with my friend, I died on the 11th cube, but on our 3rd try we finished it and the gun wasn't available! it was invisible, we couldn't even interact with it...
and after we restarted the entire game, we came back and the cubes were gone! the final platforms were invisible, and when we tried to get the gun it was just not there...
so basically we wasted time :( guess we'll wait for a patch
The 10th cube didnt spawn for me a second time when i messed up on the last cube ans had to redo. Does this mean i have to restart another campaign?

Correct. If one person dies at all it resets
I died on the last platform before the gun...the cube thing was completed, i could get back were i died...but when i get to the pedestal were the gun is...there was nothing there...

I dont think you need to do those time consuming cube i get the gun by shooting the last 3 cube i used grenade launcher on it hit the walls ... apparently on the discription on the gun says ERROR not sure but for me its not worth it since you cant bind any mods on it i get it for collection only lol

You only need to shot the 3 orbs near the big eye npc.
This will be patch.
It sounds like it sucks because of the active reload. This isn't Gears of War where you are hiding behind walls along with the enemies.

Yeah
I think anguish or savior is still way harder,
you can actually skip ALL of this. The cubes are actually just invisible but STILL THERE so you don't have to do this in order.
go to the final area, and it's easiest to bring the new thorn gun as it will lock onto the invisible cube, pop the invisible cube to make the platform appear and just shoot the final two cubes and grab the gun.
You don't have to have corrupted gear, you don't have to mess with this entire hunt and find quest.
It's already fixed in their dev branch and being patched out soon
