Your curls are life omg I'm in love. I just found you and after three videos I'm subscribed. Wondering if you have tips for curling roots? I have curly hair and I do my best to lift and get volume but my roots grow in straight no matter how many layers I get.
thanks so much!! my roots don't curl tightly either. my hair is really fine and smooth and sometimes I wish my roots would curl tighter lol. the only thing I know of to help a little is to plop your hair, if you don't know what that is you can youtube it and I'll try to do a video on it sometime soon

haha thank you! cowlicks can def play a major role on how the hair sits, but maybe have a stylist help you with where you'd like them to be. I actually don't even have bangs anymore cuz I let them grow out, but i'm planning on getting them again soon for the fall!
That's great that you've embraced your frizz. Me, I hate it with passion. But I don't know how to get rid of frizz. So, I just let them come along for the ride since that's what they want to do. To avoid frizz, I try not to touch my hair with my fingers while it's drying but maybe I'm still touching it too much for my hair type(?) I dunno. All know is that I refuse to embrace my frizz. I'ma fight it every chance I get.
I would say I have to 90% the same hair as you . It’s longer now than on my picture . And if I achieve volume and it’s all looking amazing .. 2 minutes later I look into the mirror and all my hair is flat again even after using a pick and volume powder on my roots . It’s so frustrating I don’t know what to do . My hair is still layered like yours .
Thank you! I'd say my hair is in between. It's not really thin but it's not thick either. If your hair is thin then i'd be careful not to use too many products at a time. Also don't use too much creamy products on your hair cuz it could weight your hair down.

Thanks for the tips! I use a lot of creams on my hair and that's probably why I'm not getting enough volume. I'm gonna get a mousse now!

Ok. I have gone to Walmart, Target, Sally's, and Ulta and have not been able to find any of the SheaMoisture products mentioned in this video. 😕
I got mine from Ulta! Sometimes different stores carry different products but I'd keep checking. Or you can order online
