- Before the age of UA-cam and modern social media platforms, car enthusiasts had to know people, buy and read magazines, and scour the internet to find information and learn more about the scene they were into.
In the early 2000's, internet forums played a major role in connecting people with similar interests.
This was certainly true for Honda enthusiasts.
"Beginning in 2003 with a question from the forum: EF-1.com now m24x.zeroforum.com, power potential on 91 octane pump gas per liter at the tire was discussed. When Omniman said he would demonstrate extracting 126+ whp per liter (at the tire) with the B16a on 91 octane, we had to commit our resources to shoot it! Making ALL MOTOR power on low displacement is not your average bet. Considering that an '03 s2000 makes @ 100hp/liter at the wheels, this is a lofty goal for the 1595cc. When Omni agreed, we got more than we bargained for; Covering a Performance Rebuild, Tranny Modification, Sponsor visits and Full Dyno Tuning, we trust you will get some solid tips for your next project."
This forum discussion escalated into a full-blown video production, produced by InterTuneTV. Due to technical limitations at the time, a video as lengthy as this couldn't simply be recorded and uploaded somewhere in full quality; it had to be distributed through a limited run of DVDs.
Very little information about IntertuneTV and the people behind it remain. This 2-DVD, six-hour "B Series Tuning Experience" is the only piece of media they ever released.
Follow OMNIMAN from Teardown, Rebuild, and the Dyno in this blast from the past!

Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you HSG. FINALLY, someone uploads this video. I remember having the physical copy back in the day. I utilized this video to build my B16 back in high school.
We're you able to make 200hp?
Literally same story. My buddy in high school had bought the DVD. Pretty informative honestly. Much better than most of the new UA-cam tutorials.

Anyone wondering who that guy is. He went by onmiman back in the day. And he is the guy who invented the LSVTEC.
Yes I remember being there when Steve did the first LSVtec to our friend's white EG hatchback in Denver, CO.
HSG dropping bombs for the community.
