  • Hey Everyone, I know it been a bit since I took a look at another legion for adeptus titanicus but I figured it would be a good time to show what I have been busy doing. Here is a detailed look at all my custom color scheme Warhound titans, completed and ready for the battlefield. I had a blast getting really creative with the bases for these hounds, and you may notice some familiar models on the bases, lets call it a blast from the past!
As always comments and critiques are totally welcomed let me know what you think! And if you are interested in more adeptus titanicus, check out the channel.

My advice for you: buy Vallejo metal color series (it's the Grey label one!). Is the best ever created acrylic metal paint... Every thing else is trash and inferior.... Is uncanny good! In case of doubts check some reviews....

Actually I have a question! How can I produce such a fine metal trim? Any trips I would appreciate!

Oh man! I wish I had a good answer, I do about 3 coats of Hashut Copper with a small detail brush followed by a wash of Nuln Oil on the armor panels, the skeleton I use Nuln oil Gloss. Painting trim is usually the most time consuming part of any titanicus model. I'll point out I always paint the colors of the armor panels as I do alot of dry brushing and stippling, the trim is always the last step followed by a wash, I do find a wet pallet (even a garbage home made one like you see on the desk) helps alot.

I was terrified to try it for the first time to but here's my process:
1 - Base paint the colors of the armour panel for me its caliban green, a heavy dry brush waagh flesh, a light dry brush on sharp features of warpstone glow
2 - I use a small 1 inch x 1 inch sponge and rip it for a unique pattern, then dip it into dryad dark and apply, keep in mind the more preassure you put on the sponge the larger the area of pitting
3 - I then apply the hashut copper to all the trim
4 - I apply a wash of nuln oil to the whole thing
5 - I then go back to my high light color for the green base paint i'll use warpstone glow and paint a super fine outline around areas or dryad bark to give depth to the paint chipping effect
6 - Depending on your basing I use the same colours as my base to lightly weather (drybrush) the model, usually Dawnstone, rakarth flesh, and terminatus stone
*A fun tip* I paint chip almost all armor panels of models to varying amounts BUT if its a warhound I weather almost the whole model as its a small titan, for reavers I weather from the toes to about the gun arms, for a warlord up to just above the knees. This help show the gigantic height differences of each titan class
