He should play a Rogue Trader and not one that's ever been written about before. If he's the star, he has to carry the show and being a Primarch, Custodes or Astartes would be far too limiting. For showing the world you can be insanely masculine and a geek and just rock it.
It is amusing to see that some people tend to look down on what appears to them as marginal hobbies, when initially strategic games, enriched by fantasy litterature, have led, via the growth of tabletop roleplaying games, then video games and online persistent universes, to the gathering of hundreds of millions of people, forming the public for some of the most ambitious cinematographic and popular productions nowadays, like The Lord of The Rings, Narnia, The Golden Compass, World of Warcraft, Game of Thrones, The Wheel of Time, obviously The Witcher, and an important part of the actual film and series industry and wide successes. Not to mention all of the other "marginal" hobbies that became world wide phenomenons, like the superheros comics.
Love to see it. I'm not into Warhammer myself, but a good friend back from my HS days is and he gets so much flack for this hobby (which always made me quite mad 'cause there's nothing wrong with it), so having Cavill back this up and be so open about it could literally be a game changer.

Why does it feel like a lot of people are making his hobby sound bad? Like he plays video games he’s a big Fantasy Nerd…In interviews it makes everything so awkward when people ask…I think it’s amazing that he has his hobby’s and has things he can enjoy outside of acting and being in the spotlight can famous interviewers and talk show hosts make it a norm to not make it a weird thing to be nerdy thanks! I rather hear about celebrities hobby’s then anything weird like how fit someone had to get to play the role like people tend to ask Henry all the time
This dude is easily my favorite actor simply because of his love of warhammer.
Gotta love this guy. Someone please get Henry on a D&D campaign with Matt Mercer and the Critical Role crew
Amen to that, but that would break the Internet
Henry in a DnD game would be the most wonderful thing ever. In my head, and I am type casting here, he could play a great paladin. But really, just wanna watch him play DnD.
There is the like 4 episodes of celebrid&d from geek and sundry but i think if we all asked hard enough they would do it 😂
Maybe if we get 10 million likes or post here, critical role people could do their magic
Critical Role people are cringe and Henry is based so no
I don’t know anything about Warhammer but Henry Cavill is awesome. Loved him as Superman, and the Witcher kicks ass too. So cool that a guy like that can be open about his nerdier interests.
The only problem with his super man is the writing same with Batman I think cavil and afleck could have been good but Zack Snyder doesn’t understand them as characters
As someone who played 40K in the late 90s, when Warhammer was still such an ultra geek niche hobby, I can`t say how much I enjoy seeing a cool guy like him giving into his geek side. 😄
God I admire this guy, hes so well spoken, and just hearing him nerd out gives me hope for the world lol. He needs to be a space marine in a 40K movie.
Who here has come looking for this video after hearing the announcement that Henry is starring in and gonna be the executive producer for a Warhammer 40k series for Amazon?
This right here makes me happy and gives me great hope that the 40k live action series will be great
And now he’s working on a series for Warhammer!
And I love that for him!
Honestly, him opening up about his interests gives me more confidence in just embracing this side of me more. I happen to have interests in things that some might find geeky but who cares, geek has become a cool thing more and more these days. Those that don't know that are a bit out of touch, but nonetheless we may have to brush off their banter from time to time.
Thank you Henry! For showing the world you can be insanely masculine and a geek and just rock it.
Love how his face lights up when Joey mentions Necrons XD
Henry has such passion for what he loves and no matter what that is, it’s admirable and endearing to see in a person.
It is amusing to see that some people tend to look down on what appears to them as marginal hobbies,
when initially strategic games, enriched by fantasy litterature, have led, via the growth of tabletop roleplaying games, then video games and online persistent universes, to the gathering of hundreds of millions of people, forming the public for some of the most ambitious cinematographic and popular productions nowadays, like The Lord of The Rings, Narnia, The Golden Compass, World of Warcraft, Game of Thrones, The Wheel of Time, obviously The Witcher, and an important part of the actual film and series industry and wide successes.
Not to mention all of the other "marginal" hobbies that became world wide phenomenons, like the superheros comics.
I'd wager there are more people playing these types of games than people who hunt/fish, whatever older, accepted hobby you want to name; these days.
Well said. And correct. 👍
0:48 Cavil confirming that he is indeed daddy Emps
Was so obvious look at that jawline
Love to see it. I'm not into Warhammer myself, but a good friend back from my HS days is and he gets so much flack for this hobby (which always made me quite mad 'cause there's nothing wrong with it), so having Cavill back this up and be so open about it could literally be a game changer.
