We the public and fans are the lucky ones , i know i am ! Linda was the voice of my teens here across ' the pond ' and if there has been a female singer with more range in her voice or musicality ,then I've yet to hear it . All with the greatest of ease ..God bless Ms Linda Ronstadt .

Ronstadt is one of the most written about and photgraphed "human beings"...EVER...she has interviewed both print and TV, her personal life has been under a microscope for well over 50yrs up to and including recently because of the 2 movies that were done about her and her 2 books one recently her only Live Album was released a couple of yrs ago it was from the early 80s and she put it together because her fans wanted more and should couldn't give them anymore so reached into her sewing bag and pulled out a gem from days gone bye...
She has 30+ albums 100+ million albums sold well over a 100 album collaborations with others...27 Grammy noms 13 total wins and numerous other award noms and wins... and at 5'2"ish she was the Biggest Brightest Star in a pile of stars from the 70s and 80s for a long time both public and private...and she summons it all up very quickly when asked about her fame and the press pressure she has had to endure for numerous reasons and she candidly says..."its part of the job"...pretty classy comment from a woman at the Top of her Fame at that time...prayers for Linda...amen
Lots of stuff out there on you tube about Ronstadt...numerous interviews TV and radio, rare footage rare songs ect ect ect...this nasty disease she has really took away a voice from heaven from all of us and she covered sooo many Genre's thats A LOT of us people...She was a force to be reckoned with in the music industry dominated by men in the 70s and 80s and help sooo many others out during her time she was a very giving Super Star...she did not deserve such a sad ending to a Fantastic Career...prayers for Linda...amen

Because people need to know Ronstadt was "THEE" Trail Blazier for all Female singers from 1967 until...NOW...do your own research...Ronstadt is thee MOST written about Musician...evvver...people forget our past because they live under a mushroom...Ronstadt kicked in the doors and broke the glass ceiling of The male dominated Rock n Roll World in the 1970's...if not for Ronstadt Female musicians would have been set back decades if not more... what more can you ask for from a single person...she has suffered from a cruel and nasty disease for over 20yrs now that has stolen her voice and all we have are her record recordings and UA-cam recorded performances...prayers and love for Linda...amen@@davidboyle479

Linda is an atheist, and has said many times that she thinks christianity is a detriment to the culture.

The Mexican people are generally very fervent and expressive about their Christian beliefs, specifically, Catholicism. However, this is not an aspect of her Mexican heritage that Ms. Ronstadt's embraces on a personal level. All I know is that her voice, musicianship and many of the songs she has sung over the decades has given me a divine pleasure for which I am forever grateful.
@@frankpeter6851Linda has been hurt and probably abused by the Catholic Church when she was young, and that’s probably what drove her away from religion and now she wants to deny God altogether. She is throwing the baby out with the bathwater so to speak
@@evanhughes1510 There is nothing Linda or anyone has ever said that indicates she was abused by the Catholic Church, as far as I am aware of. Linda hated being In Catholic school and all the confined restrictions and the uptight, old-fashioned conservative values. She said so much on David Letterman. Linda is an independent, intelligent, free thinking person and I think her religious views are based on intellectual evaluations and observations and not some past emotional trauma or abuse in her childhhood.
