Hi, Amy! I have a question that might be dumb, but I just got this form in and was wondering what the purpose of the wires coming out of the feet is. I understand that on a standing mount those might be used to attach it to the base, but for this form should I just snip them off? As for attaching it to the base, I would imagine I would just get some kind of rod and attach it to the torso once the skin is on, then drill a hole into the base? Would really appreciate it if you could give me some insight. Absolute noob here.
I had an old Taxadermist walk me into a studio where he had 2 deer butts mounted and asked me which one I thought was better not knowing any better I said the 1 on the right He proceeded to tell me it takes an a****** to know an a******. So we don't want to be looking up the poop shoes.
