I dont do taxidermy, I really have no desire to do it. Still I watch every one of Amys videos because I enjoy her positive attitude and I appreciate the work she does from an artistic perspective. She really is an artist and her creations are beautiful. Great job capturing the natural beauty and I find it fascinating.
I can do both, dont liking trophy hunting and admiring your work. I think taxidermy is an art and you a clearly a very, very skilled artist. To display the grace and elegance of a big cat, especially a Leopard is a always a challenge
Awesome work! It is impressive how Amy switched the Dremel to her left hand to do detail work on the nose. It goes to show how advanced her skills are. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and skills with us.
I about choked at the cost to mount a bobcat Till I saw your work. "and I watched a bunch of taxidermy fails lol. I've been to your sight and plan on sending the nicest one I get to you this next season.
That is the coolest animal I've ever see mounted! That was a lot of sewing! It looks amazing on the tree you built! Great job Amy and thank you for sharing!!
😂 the inside of the whiskers after you separated them look like what the whiskers I glued on to be a leopard one year looked like after I peeled them off. I also do sfx make up and fabrication as well as making art from dead stuff. I am working towards homesteading too if you want to take a look. 😊❤
First time watching one of your videos Amy, amazing work, I've thought about trying my hand with taxidermy but I think I would screw it up pretty bad after seeing you work ,I'd be on my last leg for sure 😊.
Such an awesome job as usual! The work you do on cats is superb. The best I've seen! I'm pretty local to you. In Hickory. I know I'm coming to you if I get another bobcat or coyote. I love your work Any! And whoever did your tattoo sleeve, they did a beautiful job on the bobcat along with the rest! You should do a video on that too!
wonderfull work , people are much angry about Snow leopard that it kills the yaks goats in the valley i live HUnza at nights the snow leapord comes near to our homes you are invited to see the live leapord
A beautiful lady with a beautiful leopard 🐆...lol You did yourself proud... I know this video is a little bit old but I just came upon it... I've been a cameraman in Hollywood for over 40 years now and I love nature in all it's settings... I don't like trophy hunting which I know you hear that on your channel... But as others have said that there is an art to making the animals come back to life so too speak... And it's not a useless waste of a beautiful pelt... Your art and expertise is very admirable... Just gorgeous what you've done with it... Bless you for your art...your patience to bring it life... And explaining exceptionally well on your process... Best to you beautiful lady...😊
Great job , that looks amazing. Love your work and your videos. I haven’t done a mount yet but want to learn. I am curious though, you sewed the tail up ahead of time so how did you get it over the form? Keep up the good work, look forward to all your videos.
Question for you Amy did you have the tail screwed on so you could take it off to place it in the tail skin? i assume that you did . really nice looking cat . great work
@@amysanimalart Thank you, I found your video instructions very easy to understand. Can you ask me a question: did I buy that animal form from the factory or is there a form to mold the animal's shape?
@@amysanimalart I'd offer to help but I'm not even in the states. I'm canadian. But betting there must be other people like me, near you. that would love to help. I like your work .
amy would you be able to use chewing gum instead of clay around the eyes and the lips next time you do a big cat, it would help the sticking process and unlike clay it would harden. plus the enzymes from the saliva would ensure the colour/skin doesn't fade.
I’m definitely not a fan of trophy hunting but your skill and craftsmanship cannot be denied, this is awesome work‼️

I appreciate that. There’s a lot of people who don’t have the capability to admire both, which is why I give a warning
Amy this my first time on your channel. I have to say you're a incredible wild life artist in my opinion. You taught my something new...thank you.

I'm against trophy "hunting" but i think taxidermy is cool, there's not much of a direct connection here :p
WOW, great job, but I didn't see how you did the inner mouth. Maybe you have that in another video.
Absolutely amazing work! I would love to know your background. I bet you are in high demand. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks Amy.👍🏻😎🇺🇸

Where did you get a leopard hide
What part of N.C. are you in??
Can you make a video showing how to tan leather?
There is a video of that in my video catalog

You need a friend doing camera work so we could get close in on your hands as you do this
Yeah, that would be nice! If I had a friend 😂 Yall will have to put up with the solo camera work 🥲

How do you expect her to do that?
