Thank you for your video. I made the mistake of ordering the Mopar brand from Detroit Muscle and it is thin and cheap. Removed the old gasket with a lot of black caulking that the dealer put on after it originally leaked. Cleaned it up and put the new gasket on. It rained that night and the next day I had 1” of water puddling in the storage bins under the seat. I will try the gasket that you have next. I have a 2014 1500
Glad you found value in my video. 2013+ year RAMs seem to suffer more leaks than previous years like my 2012, at least from what I have seen. I changed mine for the sake of preventative maintenance - it never leaked but I wanted to take a look in there
Ha! Mine leaked right away in 2014 and went in for service. They’re caulking job from back then was dry and brittle. Hope the other gasket helps. Probably will add the clear silicone for safety measure. Thanks again.
Mine started leaking on my 2016 ram 2500, I replaced the gasket and it still leaked. when I removed the brake light again I took a close look and noticed hat it was bowed pretty bad no way the gasket was going to seal it.went to the dealership they had a new one in stock, they said they are prone to warping from the sun the new one was $75.00 bucks with the gasket wiring harness and all the bulbs not bad I wish I had taken a closer look at it the first time. the new brake light assembly also had a thicker gasket than the replacement gasket I had installed the first time . So check to see if it’s bowed if it is a new gasket won’t seal it just replace the light.
Per the link to that gasket, it states the latest year model of fitment is 2018 for 1500s-3500s so the answer is No. I just updated the title of the video to be more specifically aimed towards 4th gen RAM trucks. Surely there's another gasket for 2019's. out there available to purchase.

After months of real world testing, this gasket doesn't leak and there was no need to apply any sort of gasket maker/caulking. Enjoy.

The way dodge designed this.. they didn't even try to slope the brake lamp compartment in a way to deter water from going into the hole!
A lot like the tailgate cap (at least on 4th gens), it pools water so when you open the tailgate it soaks your shoes.
