This was the most honest review I’ve ever seen. Even down to “it stinks”. I appreciate this woman’s honesty.
I had it done and I felt great afterwards, no problems, actually after years of being constipated the colonic procedure regulated my everyday bowl movements. And it's been 9 years now. But I guess everyone have different experiences then others.

Its something you can do but remember its really about diet. If you eat enough leafy greens and fibrous vegetable you do not need a colonic. Avoid too much meat and cheese and eat more greens and apples. You won’t need to have a colonic except maybe once in your life.

I've got a couple of problems with this:
A lot of healthy bacteria that help digestion and faecal matter that protects the bowel are just flushed away, which could actually make you more ill afterwards (faecal transplants are an actual thing to treat it).
The only way you can actually detox is by stopping ingesting toxins and/or getting help through dialysis, chelation or specific antidotes. Your liver and kidneys already process and filter toxins respectively, you don't get a colonic irrigation for alcohol poisoning! If we all had toxins building up inside us, why aren't we all in toxic shock?
most likely, the people that choose to have a Colonic Irrigation, aren't so healthy as it should; anyway, you can easily 'repopulate' it with a clean and healthy intestinal flora afterwards. the source of most diseases liaises in our gi tract.

One thing they forgot, the colon does still absorb a lot of water and minerals, so you might have some issues.

what leaves me astonished is the idea that there have been feces residing in the intestine for years! not only ... the tube goes in just enough to fit the anus. the water does most of the work. it follows your digestive tract all the way up.

I have intestinal issues and bad breath and I don't know what to do . Will a colonic irrigation help me ? I do an enema frequently but they just don't help with the bad breath . I even brush my teeth twice daily .

Tried this and so satisfying after treatment 100%
I felt really bloated and self- administered colonic irrigation. I used a hollowed out cucumber (very organic) and covered it in a condom for hygiene reasons and then attached it to a piece of garden hose. Instead of warm water, I initially used warm vodka and it made me feel nice and relaxed - I then poured in about 14 pints of warm Yorkshire Tea (not too strong!). Make sure you get the temperature right though, as I burnt my ring piece. I didn't adapt an 'away pipe', so I had to jam in a large carrot to stop the starfish from leaking. Instead of a belly massage, I just massaged my bean bag but had to stop doing this as it gave me a lob-on. I then dashed to the toilet and unplugged the carrot - what a relief!! I pebble-dashed the toilet and did a 5-minute fart - it sounded like an elephant giving birth. The only problem is that it tore my ringpiece, left me feeling really bloated and I've now got dysentery.

Been doing enemas for a week no problem, feel more relaxed. All of a sudden last night I get so bloated and sore on my belly and back.
