    Well in my opinion, moderation is better than restriction. Restriction from sugar can lead us to not enjoy, and if we always resist the temptation we become stressed. Instead moderation is way better, because we can remain healthy and fit but also enjoy occasionally whilst having a balanced diet

    Hello, 15 year old here, yesterday my yeargroup went to the library to talk to important people, the fire brigade, metropolitan police, NHS, London transport department, and one of the, really caught my eye, there was two women talking about sugar. I payed attention, I’m only supposed to have 25 g of sugar and 11g of salt everyday, I thought that was easy, when my mother picked me up from school she gave me three small chocolate bars and told me that I could eat them all, I did. Later on, I checked the sugar, 8.5g per bar. I had just eaten more than the recommended amount of sugar for a day in one sitting. Ever since that I’ve been keeping a food diary where I limit my sugar and salt intake

      I'd say don't worry about eating a bit more sugar in one single day. If you eat so much more than your body can handle for extended periods of time, it will become bad and is likely to give you health problems. Diabetes and obesity doesn't happen overnight, it is months of bad habits.

      I’m a boxer and I will tell you how to quit the addiction
      Cut off sugar for 2 weeks start of small and don’t eat foods that say sugar free but have chemicals and artificial sweeteners and artificial colours and artificial chemical flavours.
      After 2 weeks the sugar addiction will go and you will actually become more energetic and more fit and strong
      Sports such as boxing or soccer can help! You will become more energetic strong and fit more than when you were on sugar. Please listen to this for your health

    Growing up, we didn't eat much fast food despite my house being close to fast food franchises, why?, we were simply used to homemade food, and when we wanted to eat fast food, we would eat local fast food or just cook a healthy version of the dish, we even stopped buying processed meat to switch to regular meat, all of these habits made us less prone to disease and more active, in the end, I would advice everyone to moderate their fast food consumption and exercise more.

Luckily, people in my school didn't really judged me about my apperance but I started to had serious health issues such as shortness of breath, fatty liver and etc. For my own health i decided to end eating junk foods, oily food and sugary food that is bad for my health, and now I am 19 year's old, weighing around 124-125 pounds, Rather than apperance health is much more important. • @globalhealthmedia
      @globalhealthmedia  6 днів тому

      good question... Rice is ok -- and can be incorporated into a healthy diet; in moderation.. In this film -we recommend filling a small plate or bowl with 1/2 non-starchy veggies, 1/4 lean protein and 1/4 carbohydrates, such as rice. The dad ate a mountain of rice as well as a lot of foods with added sugar.
      All starches are broken down into sugar (glucose) - some is used for immediate energy, or stored in the liver or muscles - and the remaining glucose is stored as fat. So eating a large quantity of rice or other starch will often end up getting stored as fat -- too much of which can lead to diabetes..
      hope that helps!

    Agreed, sugar is so bad for your health, but sugar is like everywhere, but sugar is ok in moderation, and I like to indulge with sugar on days like weekends and holidays, but I try hard to eat healthy as well may God keep you all in good health.

    Only if my parents were that careful. They really don't care until things go out of hand. No matter how many time I say then to improve food and exercise choices they just remain adhered to their rice potato and cookies😢
