Just FYI - if you decide to use trademark engine (or similar) to get a trademark, all you need for brand registry is the accepted application number from the USPTO which only takes around 1-2 weeks.

So as long as an application is filed with USPTO, you can use brand registry?
Per Amazon Brand Registry FAQ - "the Application number provided by the Intellectual Property office can only be provided if you are enrolling with a trademark pending registration." Check out their FAQ here: brandservices.amazon.com/brandregistry/faq

I've gone through an Amazon FBA training, wholesaling. Could I use the JS software for wholesaling only?

If you have a product that you want to trademark (actually a utility patent would be more accurate in this case)…How do you protect your idea during the time period that it takes after you submit your application through the Amazon seller portal to USPTO? Would you not actually list your product on Amazon yet? Is this a preliminary thing that you can do through Amazon in “preparation” for getting approval for your patent?
If you register your patent/trademark, and then enroll into Brand Registry program, Amazon will accept your application even when it is pending, so you do not have to worry about anything 😄
So then if someone out there is like-“great idea! I’m gonna make that too”, then they would be infringing on MY trademark?
They would infringe, you are correct. The pending status still affords you rights. Amazon and the patent will be registered from a certain date, which is the date you submitted and it was accepted. Anyone who files after will be a copy.
I live in Canada, but would you recommend selling in the US market instead? It seems to be the most popular, thanks!
Since the US marketplace is bigger than Canada, you can definitely do that.

Are you asking about shipping from your supplier going to the Amazon warehouse? The seller will be the one to pay the shipping fees.
There are two main types of fees that Amazon charges sellers: Fulfillment fees: These include packing and shipping costs and Amazon's customer service.
Monthly inventory storage fees: These fees cover the cost of storing items in Amazon's warehouses, which are known as fulfillment centers.

I found a product with high monthly revenue and low BSR with less then 500 reviews and its branded by a fba seller and has only one seller can I go with it and launch it as my logo and brand.

Please check if the product is patented. Then you can add that to your Product Tracker in Jungle Scout to monitor the product's performance continuously. If, after a few weeks, it has matched your product criteria, you can decide if you want to pursue selling the product. Your decision should be data-driven rather than personal feelings or opinions. 😊
Hi, How do we check if the product on amazon has patented or not?
Is there a way to block the product which has patented from launching on amazon? The reason I am asking is I dont want to order the product that's patented and got trouble.

You will need to do thorough Patent Research if you believe the product you have has a patent. If this is the case you may find yourself with a cease and desist letter.
Can I use any name I want as a brand name when I’m getting the UPC barcode and creating the listing before I get an LLC?
You can, however, you also need Amazon's approval before you can start selling using the said brand name.

Hello i have question when i just open my account and choose many market places to sell on i do not know that amazon charge me everymonth for marketplaces today i logged in to find my total balance was 163$i had been charged by different marketplace. but now im worried over the next couple of days ill be getting charged by every other marketplace! ive sent an email to seller support but not hard anything back yet…

I found a great product, high demand/low competition with good ROI. But I have to invest >$15k upfront. Do you think it’s a quite risky?

I have great concern after watching the news in Italy. The CORONA VIRUS is making its round on rapid in China. I was thinking of placing my orders next week, but with all of this going on i may not get my products in time to advertise them on AMAZON. What's the best advice you can give me?
It would be best to reach out to your supplier about it first and confirm. If you are using a Freight Forwarder service, you can work with them as well and adjust your shipping timeframe.

The population in America is about 400 million, so we set the Demad in Junkle Scout at 300. How much should I set the Demad if I am selling in the German market?? Note that the population of Germany is 85 million??
You can start with 300 as well, and if you do not get many results, then slowly drop it down to 250/200, etc.

It is usually lower during Q4 not only for new sellers

Hi, I'm new to FBA. My question is, How many barcodes do I need to get, if I get the same size but different printing/designs?
Also, I have been trying to connect my jungle scout and amazon but it keeps saying that the API's keys are invalid. It doesn't show in my jungle scout settings as well.

If there are different printing designs, it means they are all in different variations so you will need to get 1 UPC for each variation.
Regarding the API key error when connecting your Amazon and JS seller accounts, please check your account status if there is other information/document that you need to submit or if you see any issues with the cc you submitted to Amazon. You can contact Seller support to make sure.
