As part of the costuming team who had the pleasure of working on young Ahsoka and white Ahsoka I just want to say thank you for your reaction. We took the task of bringing these characters to live action very seriously and this is exactly the response we hoped for in every stitch. Thank you for watching and loving and sharing. It means the world to all of us involved ❤
I love how Filoni is treating the series true to its title. It’s not just fan service with like Anakin, Hera, and Rex, etc. they are all there to help further build and grow Ashoka’s character, hence the series title, Ahsoka 😊
Did you Notice of all the Actors wielding a lightsaber, Hayden is the msot natural... it's an extension of himself... it looks like he doesn't think of it anymore... He mastered the Lightsaber... Nick Gillard's Training mastered !
There's a reason all the kids on the playground wanted to be Anakin while dueling with our toy lightsabers. Hayden did not ruin this role, he salvaged it. With some of the dialogue he was given, it takes serious acting chops to still make Anakin cool, not to mention while learning the insane fight choreographies in the prequels himself at full speed
No worries, I'm a grown man and shed MANY tears this episode. You hit the nail on the head when you described his story as heartbreaking. The character of Anakin Skywalker will go down in history as one of the greatest tragic roles ever created, along the lines of Othello and Titus Andoronicus. Keep the great videos coming!
They brought all the feels. Huyang actually made me tear up. He was so confused at the end of episode 4 and completely saddened to start this one. The music! Anakin and Ahsoka! So amazing!
Ariana Greenblatt , the actress that played young Ahsoka, also played young Gamora. She did a phenomenal job. This entire episode was just so damned good. Everything we wanted all rolled into one, and I cried.

It was LEGENDARY! For some reason in my head, I thought that there was no chance we would actually get Clone Wars flashbacks in this series, but we got them, and we got a live-action Siege of Mandalore flashback, and that hit me so hard (seeing a live-action Captain Rex, even if he never took his helmet off, meant everything). That entire Clone Wars-era flashback sequeneces gave me so much emotion that very few pieces of entertainment have ever been able to do, which is why at least for me after tonight, Ahsoka for me is the best Star Wars series they've done yet. There was also a little musical cue in-between the first Clone Wars flashback during the Battle of Ryloth, and the Siege of Mandalore, when younger Ahsoka (who looks great by the way) is checking on one of the clones. To me at least it sounded a little bit like the track Burying The Dead, from the final episode of Clone Wars Season 7, and I heard it and I was crying on the spot. Of course this was the other episode Dave Filoni directed for this series. It's a true love letter to The Clone Wars fans, but also serves as a first step for a newer audience who hasn't seen The Clone Wars to see the relationship between Anakin and Ahsoka first-hand that us Clone Wars fan got to see over seven incredible and legendary seasons of television. What a journey. What a ride. What an episode. I'm not sure they can do anything to top this one, but we'll see what happens the next three weeks.
I second everything you said. Rex had me speechless. I couldn't even compose myself hearing his voice. This episode is EVERYTHING. I dont know how they will top it either but I am keen to find out!
'm going to be honest....this is the best episode we have so much. also little ahsoka in her early days of the clone wars is so adoreable!!!!! Also Hayden in Anakin's clone wars armor was amazing! But the fight between Anakin and Ahsoka here was so awesome! Also Jaceyn (hope I spelled that right) is so adorable! Great reaction! Can't wait for more!
I love how even after realizing most of Ahsokas trauma was from Vader Anakin stayed away from the Vader she knew but Ahsoka was so traumatised by him she saw him as Vader anyway
I've watched this episode 3 times already and have sobbed each time. I will be in my feels for awhile and will not be expecting to feel normal until Q2 2024 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I watched it 3 times and the music at the end gives me chills and there is a watery substance coming out of my eyes every time. The best 40 mins I have experienced in a long time. Love seeing the emotion. People underestimate how much good star wars means to us
I'm with you I'm a 51 year old man and I cried at this episode Dave filoni is the master of star wars and love how Hayden is getting the love and respect he deserves
This episode was not only great but it was awesome and groundbreaking too seeing Hayden Christian's Anakin Skywalker Clone Wars armor along with Young Ahsoka Tano in flashbacks including Captain Rex and the clones wearing phase 1 and 2 with ahsoka helmets was great I give this episode 10/10 Dave Filoni has given some true star wars content here and I honestly can't wait for next week's episode and seeing anakin and ahsoka clone wars flashbacks was emotional and I love how Jacen like his father Kanan Jarrus has the force within him truly wonderful 😀👍🏽😎👍🏽😀
@@MamasGeeky I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time and those visuals were absolutely incredible. Those flashes between Anakin & Vader literally sent chills all over.
Live action clone wars era Anakin Jacen sensed his dad I understand crying my best friend died and he was a huge star wars fan like me he always wanted to see a live action Clone wars era Anakin in his armor i knew hes watching it through the force ❤
@@MamasGeeky completely agree. I’ve watched it so many times. This episode more than any other was just ear and eye candy. Try playing it without watching. And just listen. So many themes. The clones, sabines, Hera, kanans, Ashoka’s. It’s incredible. Dave’s story telling doesn’t always hit but this hit it in every where. Like you said in a good way. Ashoka is my favorite character. And her story growth is one of the best. I was whimpering like a child at the end of this. But in a good way lol.
Banger of an episode. I love that she goes into the wbw as ahsoka the grey and comes out as ahsoka the white. Also in regards to last episode when u said baylon fights more offensive there is 7 different forms of lightsaber combat he uses an older form that is meant for saber to saber combat and uses a great saber thats why his strikes seemed to hit so hard.
Another good and emotional episode. 😄😄 Loving these reaction videos. I think this is the most Ahsoka episode yet, of Ahsoka. It was great seeing the young Ahsoka, and seeing her overcome her guilt, and change into Ahsoka the White. I suspect that next episode we will see the new galaxy. 😍
I just love how Anakin's Clone Wars Jedi armour mirrors what will become of him with Vader as the chest plate and pauldron's are very similar indeed to what Vader get encased in, also the casting of Ariana Greenblatt as young Ahsoka was perfect, Chef's kiss good!
I really think the plot of this episode was tight AF. Ahsoka's vision quest was instructive and used all the Clone Wras imagery so well in teaching her, the Vader flashes were great reminders not 5o forget who Anakin is, and the signage saying that final saber fight is him as Suitless Vader (and still very much pushing Ahsoka), and Jacen's place in the plot was an excellent key in finding Ahsoka, and making his Force potential the reason for that, getting to name-drop of Kanan in a relevant manner, and the amusing "...Okay" from Carson that mirrors likely casual viewer reactions, and the visual tells of Ahsoka's turn and how the vision quest has worked for her, with her being more cheerful and hopeful and dressed in white, and how she is taking the purrgill solution without knowing if the whales will definitely follow the path to Sabine and Ezra. I have seen people try to nitpick details, but really, I think they are reaching for anything they can fill their complaint quota with.
Definitely the best Ahsoka episode, and one of the best episodes of all the new Star Wars series, period! I literally watched the second half of the show on the edge of my seat. Loved the interaction with both Ahsokas and Anakin. The flickering between Anakin and Vader made me catch my breath. And no matter how dazzling the visuals are and how awesome the action is, what really gets me is that it's all supporting the characters and the story, which is what we care about most of all!
I was 9 years old when The Clone Wars movie came out,I grew up into my adolescence with the show and, most importantly, alongside Ahsoka herself,so this episode was EVERYTHING for me,if I were that little bit more emotional,I would have cried my heart out,not unlike you did. We finally had our long-deserved summarized live-action adaptation of the Clone Wars, seeing Hayden wearing Anakin's armor was so fulfilling,he looks so,so dang good, everything was on point, especially the shorter hair; Padawan Ahsoka also looked very good, especially in the season 7 look, but, have to say,I still have to get used to her live-action transposition, and we finally got Rex,even tho we didn't see his face,it still was Temuera Morrison who gave him the voice! Just like Ewan with Obi,Hayden still fits like a glove Anakin, the look, the robes, the expressions, the Dark Side version of him,it's like he was taken straight up from 2005's Revenge of the Sith! And his skills with the saber,OMG,Hayden hung on to his prequel training,it didn't feel rusty not even for a bit,it was flawless! Jacen was the cherry on top,I never thought of him to be more than a cameo from Rebels, but he was pivotal in finding Ahsoka, and I love that they're slowly unveiling to us how actually connected he is to the Force, and I love that Hera is kind of a Force-sensitive herself, being able to hear the lightsabers, something teased in Rebels when she was able to feel Kanan's ghost right next to her. And,as beautiful as it was hearing Huyang mention him,I would give everything to see Jacen and his dad together,we were robbed of Kanan too soon
I'd say Chopper has the fourth highest kill count. Tarkin comes in first for the destruction of Alderaan. Luke and Lando get second and third for destroying the Death Stars.
When I first watched this episode last night, my jaw dropped when I saw Anakin and Ahsoka in their Clone Wars uniforms as well as seeing Captain Rex for a little. This episode is one of the most memorable episodes ever made in this show! Thank you Filoni, Lucasfilm, and Disney! 😊❤️

Totally loved this episode. Not sure if people who did not see the Clone Wars or Rebels will enjoy it as much as those who have. I believe they give just enough information that fans of the movies and live action series will be able to follow along.
Imagine this was a movie and we got to see the live action version of the clone wars and everything and have Dave himself direct it. That would have been awesome but so far this was the best episode ever. You got to see the light side and the dark side of Anakin during her training and now we got the white ahsoka like a Jedi master ahsoka. I can't wait to see where it goes from here
You’re always in tears. Im just kidding I love your channel. I say this because I can’t lie because this OIF ARMY Combat vet also gets tears allot often to. As Thor says “I Like this one”
If you emotional I am very emotional and I scream and I have a lot of tears and I cried a lot, I’m glad I saw all the clone wars before rebels and Ahsoka.
Im loving this post rotj anakin with Ashoka going dark when he wants to push her out of her comfort zone and show her its not her fault what happend to him
Vader: I am not your failure, Obi-wan. You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker. I did. Anakin Ghost: Choose to live or die. Ahsoka: I choose to live. I see where Filoni was going with this. Ahsoka the White, or Sith Tano.
You want something sad to think about? Following the timeline and lore, Jacen Syndulla was most likely a student at Luke's temple when Kylo Ren snapped and killed everyone. Ahsoka's visit to Luke's temple during it's construction is likely even the time in which she brought the two together. Soooo... yeah 😞
If we're talking about kills involving only a single killer (as opposed to multiple people operating machinery) the highest kill count in Star Wars doesn't belong to Chopper, but to Luke Skywalker, who with a single proton torpedo killed the entire crew complement of the first Death Star, which was somewhere between 1 and 2 million people. Otherwise, the crown would belong either to Grand Moff Tarkin (who gave the order to destroy Alderaan) or a nameless death star superlaser operator (who pressed what could be considered the critical button to fire it). I consider Luke to have the more rightful claim, however, since the Death Star's destruction of Alderaan required multiple people working together to operate the superlaser, as opposed to a single person aiming and pulling a trigger.
😂🤷♂️🤣 I can’t with some people i don’t get it people be complaining… I legit cried twice.. and haven’t been able to watch it once without.. lol Whatchu doina me Dave?!?? I’m a grown ass man I can’t be cryin like this lol that’s my only complaint 😅😊
As much as a loved seeing Anakin and Ashoka back together in live action I can't help but feel like it was a missed opportunity. This would've been a great way to help Ashoka remember Anakins greatest lesson, and the whole point of the first 6 movies and the Clone War animated show. The Jedi were wrong to block out their emotions. Love can lead to the darkside, yes, but it can also tether you to the light and bring you back should you fall. Ashoka loved Anakin, but she's forgotten. She hates the Clone War and all the death, but she still wishes she was back there only because she misses Anakin. That should've been the lesson of this episode. Anakins first words to Ashoka after she asked "What's going on?" should've been "I'm here to help you remember." George Lucas' main point of the Star Wars saga has been forgotten. Luke, in Disney's version anyway, rebuilt the Jedi to reflect the old order and it failed. Because I don't think Disney understands what the main point of Star Wars was either.
Don't you think Tess that the lightsaber fights in the multiple tv series that Dave Filoni writes or he's involved in are much better than the fights in movies episodes 7-9?
ASOOKKAAHHHH AHHH!!! ITS ASOKAHHH!!!! AHHHHHH!!!! ASOKAH!!! AHHH. Do screw off, bunch of crappy seal clappers. Nostalgia and brain off is all that is requried. Consume next product. Gross! Invulnerable characters..oh wait...Logic and good writing mean NOTHNG to seal clappers.
I am not. Anakin and Ahsoka is one of my favorite relationships in all of Star Wars. If anything I held back. Watch Clone Wars! It is a struggle at first but once it settles in, it is amazing.
@@MamasGeeky You are probably right because I have only watched the first two trilogies and a few episodes of clone wars. That's why I didn't feel it the way you did. Anyways keep up the good work !

If you emotional I am very emotional and I scream and I have a lot of tears and I cried a lot, I’m glad I saw all the clone wars before rebels and Ahsoka.
YoOooo i just reacted to this episode ! and honestly , it made me happy cry !
Great reaction vid
dig the reaction 🤠
The moment I saw young Ahsoka, I was done... but only manly tears, of course. 😅
LOL
I fn love Star Wars
I JUST noticed...is that a TARDIS throw blanket hanging on your wall behind you? I have one hanging behind my recliner!
It is actually a cardboard cut out TARDIS!!
I love Hayden
😂🤷♂️🤣 I can’t with some people i don’t get it people be complaining… I legit cried twice.. and haven’t been able to watch it once without.. lol Whatchu doina me Dave?!?? I’m a grown ass man I can’t be cryin like this lol that’s my only complaint 😅😊
Lol lol... but wait... are people complaining???
Anakins first words to Ashoka after she asked "What's going on?" should've been "I'm here to help you remember."
George Lucas' main point of the Star Wars saga has been forgotten.
Yeah, our little murder gremlin has a kill count over 50,000 - you just know he will DESTROY anyone who tries to come for Jacen :)
❤
pull yourself together hahah
Ahsoka the White!
You should have buckled your seat belt becus that was one hell of a ride
I said the Whales. And that I would not be surprised that Ahsoka would become Ahsoka The White.
I really thought we would get that in the finale episode, but I will take it now!
@@MamasGeeky She returned from the dead and now is going into her biggest battle.
Dang girl you a mess lol. But totally get it this episode was awesome
Vader bleibt un vergessen anikin ist nichts Vader ist die beeindrückende seite.
Mon mothma, hera and Carson are the only likable people in the New Republic
Im so early im 360p squad lol
You get too emotional, too funny:P
Can't help it with some things! LOL
"You look old"
"You lost a fight"
"You lack conviction"
Well he's got the accent, but otherwise Anakin doesn't sound much like a Canadian
ASOOKKAAHHHH AHHH!!! ITS ASOKAHHH!!!! AHHHHHH!!!! ASOKAH!!! AHHH. Do screw off, bunch of crappy seal clappers. Nostalgia and brain off is all that is requried. Consume next product. Gross! Invulnerable characters..oh wait...Logic and good writing mean NOTHNG to seal clappers.
Terrible show. Painful viewing. Absolute CRAP. Lucas must feel shame for selling Star Wars. Disney is so WOKE and has ruined a great show.
Best scene from this otherwise mediocre show😂
I feel like you were overacting a little bit, maybe I am wrong cuz i haven't watched clone wars much but i felt like it.
If you haven’t seen The Clone Wars series you really can’t judge someone like this. Fans invested 12 years into that series and it means a lot to us
@@MamasGeeky I just finished my 4th chronological watch through of CW as I've been working through the timeline in full chronological order (I'm up to Aldani after starting with Dooku and Qui-Gon). This episode hit like an AT-TE being dropped on my head by an LA-TT at hyperspeed since I so recently saw these missions. This episode is gonna WRECK me when I get here after Rebels, the OT and the Filoniverse.
