A Wedding Cake Recipe That Will Leave Everyone Speechless

- Flour 1.2kg
Butter 1kg
Sugar 1kg
Cinnamon 5tsp
All spices 6tsp
Golden Syrup 1 table spoon
Black treacle 1 table spoon.
Preservatives 1tsp
Browning...to your desired color.
Baking powder 5tsp
Nutmeg 1
Eggs 20 pieces
Flavor 2 table spoon
Lemon Zest 3 table spoon
Lemon juice 3 table spoon.
Instruction
1. Cream your butter and sugar to be very fluffy.
2. Whisk your eggs, add gradually until mixture properly
3. Sieve your flour, cinnamon, all spices, preservative, baking powder, nutmeg and salt..then mix all together.
4. Add your flour until fully incorporated
5. Add your lemon/ orange zest
6. Add your Golden syrup/ Black treacle
7. Add your lemon/Orange juice or water 1cup
8. Add your browning to your desired color is achieved
9. Add your flavours. Fold, pour inside your greased pan and bake for 1hr or till a skewer comes out clean

3x for three tiers and I was a bit short on maybe two layers to make it four so I made another batch although it wasn’t up to the 1.2kg

Please mix the eggs in the butter and and sugar mixture gradually until it’s fully incorporated.

So if the fruits are soaked, it and the cake soaked as well in alcohol, it serves as preservatives
But in this particular one, no fruit was added because they are Muslims and also I was working with a budget

It’s a very controversial topic so that’s why I didn’t mention.
Although It’s completely optional but usually my recipe for plain vanilla cake has milk and it loosens the consistency as well that’s why I added the water. For every 500 grams I added 1/2 cup of water

@@DeborahArinsehplease u mean for every 500 g of four in recipe I add half cup of water. So if the flour is 1.5 kg( 1500g) u will add half cup water three times???

I don’t remember the name but any cake shop you go to, ask them for preservative, they’ll give you.
I only add it when the clients don’t consume alcohol also only wedding cake as I don’t use it in my other cakes
