- Teddy’s Red Tacos started as a food stand in 2017, and now they have three locations all around Los Angeles. People love the delicious, juicy red tacos loaded with beef and dripping with consome. The tortillas are dipped in beef fat, fried, and topped with meat, onions, cilantro, and salsa. Teddy Vasquez started the business on his own, and even sold birria out of his trunk while he was driving for Uber. Insider visited the original truck, which still has long lines every day, to try the tacos and talk to customers about why it’s worth the wait.

Teddy's Red Tacos is truly amazing. I've been to their original spot in South LA in 2018 while being on vacation. Teddy was very kind and I noticed that he is very proud of his food. And he should be. I will be back there this year for sure.

First, this was about eating authentic tacos vs eating mass produced *American Fast food Tacos* but that's something you obviously missed. 🤔
As for equating buffets to obesity, that too is incorrect. Whenever I choose to indulge in a buffet that my friends own I enjoy no less than 6 plates of food from every food group (except sugary sweets/desserts).
I workout just 1hr per day and aside from being 6', I weigh 195lbs. The ideal weight for a male is between 160lbs-196lbs. So you're incorrect!

@312vandal when we were traveling throughout Mexico we stumbled upon a place in Oaxaca that had the best barbacoa. This was made from goat, which was surprising because here in the States it's made from beef.

Definitely a must try me and my girl went to LA a few weeks ago and made sure to stop by Teddys even hit the venice location on our way back up to the bay. They are that damn good !!!! We already decided that a trip back to LA is a must just for teddys. A real inspiration for cooks like ourselves.

This place put me on Birria in 2021. First time ever trying it and loved birria ever since.
That has to feel really good that the customers are already happy even before they eat the tacos.
This mans hustle is something different he was driving Uber sell tacos from the trunk 🤯 incredible determination and that’s why he’s successful....
One thing I would love about this is having customers that come weekly or every other week and kinda get to know some of the local customers
Birra is now my favorite tacos. Me and wife order them once a week from our local spot. Crazy how a older recipe has taken over the mainstream food market.
