It's my very first shotgun, I love it, makes me proud especially seeing other shooters having problems with their firearms. No malfunctions so far, great quality, great value. I clean mine after every visit on the range cause it's making me pleasure. From Poland with love mr Miculek!

I almost second this comment. I clean mine every thousand rounds or so. But I watch others struggle with malfunctions and the 940 pro just keeps on going off. I've ran thousands of rounds through it with one failure to feed. That's the truth. It's an impressive firearm.
Man I always love the cross-over between competition shooting and combat applications. Jerry is a wealth of knowledge and a class act.

I picked up the JM 940 at a gun show in April. Been looking for a 930 JM pro but when I saw the 940 I couldn't buy it fast enough. It shoots super fast and ran low recoil rounds, low brass and buckshot all with ease.

I love the way he just said the trick to keeping the muzzle on target and they just glazed right over it porting towards the right hand side keeps the barrel from yanking it out of your left hand keeps you on target I dig it thank you Jerry

Both are great shotguns! One can upgrade the 930 however to the same performance level of the 940 with exception to the buttstock. OR3Gun and SBE precision have products (mag spacer tube and stainless gas piston respectively) plus other enhancements that will put the 930 on par with the 940. Either way, one can't go wrong with either model.
Bleh...Make MORE 940's! I've been trying to find one that isn't at a jacked up price since April :(
I've had my JM940 on order for 3 months, and one came in a week ago that was ordered 2 weeks before mine. I'm so excited to run rounds through it. If I could just find a "Jerry mask" I'd video myself shooting it, then speed the video up x3! Ha Ha Ha

@@ApurtureSci Yeah I don't understand it, a few websites like Sportsmanswarhouse have them listed but with the "notify me when available" option, and there's a few listed on Gunbroker, so my guess is the 940 did technically "release" to the market but COVID halted their production process on it completely, so whatever they got out there is what's out there for the foreseeable future, which is ashame because this is seemingly one of the greatest semi-auto shotguns on the market (next to Benelli) with a relatively cheap ass MSRP of like $820, and I have yet to read or hear anything bad about it from anyone who's been lucky enough to test her out. Plus, this seems like a very useful tool for those hordes of pesky "peaceful protesters" who like burning down businesses and cars and cities and assaulting random human beings at the drop of a hat 😇
I really wanted a 940 but....I already have a 930. I might just get the Oregon upgrade kit and call it a day
I've been trying to get a 940 since release no luck yet and I've yet to see one in person. All I can do is wait.
I’ve only found them with insane markup. $1500 asking prices for them.
I was luck went to pick up my new shot gun and dammm they had 3 of them now I have another shot gun . They have 2 left now haa because I bought 1 of them .

I have one of the 930 jm's and been happy with it, though I haven't put that many rounds through it. Curious to see how it will hold up over the long term.

My 930 has been my do all shotgun, and I love it. High brass, low brass, lightweight but the action soaks up some recoil: hard to beat.

That is a great place to get em from! I had to wait about six months for my 930 SPX, well worth it. Especially for the price, great shotguns and even greater smiles!

Finally got my shipping notice for mine. I ordered the Black Camo, hope to be testing it out this week.
My JM pro Black Camo Just arrived, will be testing her out today. Feels a bit heavy fwd even before loading. We will see how it works out.

I know 12 is king, but skeet shooting, 20 is sweet.
1500 rounds before maintenance or 1500 rounds before cleaning? I've been looking at these, and researching it pretty heavily. A lot of reviewers are claiming 1500 rounds before cleaning, especially lead.
I couldn't find one though I liked the way it's built, I got the Stoger M3K 3 gun model witch has lots of the same features. I have had grate luck with it might be easier to find, for those who are looking.
It's a beautiful gun. I want the tactical version

I know I am a little late for this episode. I am a Mossberg lover and the 940 JM Pro is wicked sweet. I can't wait to one day have one, but I would say that by the time that happens he will have come up with another even better Mossberg design. it is just too bad it isn't compatible with the Flex system to have that tactical pistol grip option.
I like the way he said ... you got to get out there and shoot more. Well then I will have to take out a second mortgage on my house to buy the ammo.

That's very interesting! I never thought about condensation INSIDE even though I deal with it on the outside regularly here in the south.
OR3GUN sells a cylinder that’s perforated to reduce/eliminate the condensation issue. It looks different than on the 940 shown in the video.

This guy came out as soon as I put my 930 on layaway. I’d be upset but my 930 runs SOOO good. Even ran the cheap Walmart birdshot right out of the box. Might have to pick one of these up anyway.

Very nice gun but I have a Beretta A400 Xtreme I use and I love it. If I ever get another semi auto it will definitely be a JM 940! Love the way it looks!

Everything I know about my 930 I learned from watching Jerry. 1000's of rounds and no issues. Recently added the OR3Gun internals.
2 years later and they are finally bringing a bird barrel out for these for hunting. Also the pro tactical is available, with the improvements from this gun, but not the JM version.

I was lucky enough to find one at one of our local farm supply store. Not the bling bling model that ol’ lightning finger has there (model 85111) but the blue Camo one (model 85113). And get this, they finally figured out how to get rid of the fore end slop. I’ve ran around 500 rounds through it so far. It’s had zero issues with anything that I feed it, which is mostly the cheapest stuff I can find. Not one malfunction so far.
Actually, I’ve rarely ever had a malfunction with any of my mossbergs. Gotta keep them clean.

I had a JM940 for about a year and the 1,500 without a cleaning is far from the truth. After 600 rounds the gas system locked up from fowling, I was seeing how far it could be pushed in the real world. Other than that it ran flawless. I just sold it for a profit and purchased a mag fed shotgun.
Me too. Gas piston gets dirty and sticks which results in the pusher assembly rod to not retract. Causes jams. Mossberg said my ammo is weak. It's the same one Jerry uses. They may advertise 1500rds between cleaning but their manual says 500 lol
I got 600 through it before it locked up using Federal Top Gun #8 birdshot and slugs
On the porting,Is it going to affect the cycling.
I was going to get a jm pro for my first shotgun but it doesn't hurt my wrist, my shoulder, or my back. For some reason it rocked my reck pretty hard. Maybe it was my fault but it wasn't comfey

Interesting. My 940pro won't reliably cycle after about 400 rds. The gas piston sticks and the pusher rod assembly doesn't retract, which results in a jam.
So the 940 piston and spacer will work in a 930?

I went from a Bakail IJ-18 20 gauge to an early Maverick 88 (single action rod) 12 gauge. Lets just say the reliablity was "disappointing". I kept breaking forends. I want a new 88 with the double action rods.
As far as sighting options, I'd with a ghost ring and protected fibre optic front.
Will this be good for Trap shooting also? The barrel seems short for that but if it’s good for 3 gun competitions, it should do well with Trap?!
Barrel length is over-rated. You don't need a 30" to hit clays. I've used a 24" for clays and once I got used to the difference balance (less weight up front), I had no trouble.

Im short 5'8".. a stock that isn't adjustable is just not for me.. I was looking at a Beretta 1301 tactical.. I would love to have a 930 though.
