I want to ask a question as I have had a partial thyroidectomony due to Graves Disease I had a cyst and a goiter and had my left side of my thyroid taken out as it was very swollen and caused the goiter it has deepened my voice but still can reach most notes and try not ot push what exercises can I do to strength the side of my thyroid. Though they did say I also had noudles which on the left side was taken out at the same time as the thyroid on the left side and my dad did suffer from noudles on his vocial chords twice he had to give up singing.
Hi Julie! We're so sorry to hear this. We consulted with Justin Stoney and he said as long as the doctor has approved normal vocal practice, virtually all healthy vocal exercise will contribute to improved thyroid function. We hope this helps! -NYVC
