I had used the white wallpaper roll and that was such a hassle to cut. I’m going to redo it with white tape!
by pure chance I made a white setup and I thought about leaving the monitor like that, but the tape idea is good

Hmmm, not sure I would recommend this as if you decide to take the tape off at any point, it might leave residue on your display, or If you accidentally stuck it to the display, feels like it could damage it in some way. If you’re gonna try this out, just proceed with caution.

hi everyone! this video has been gaining a bit of attention recently and there's been a lot of comments asking the same questions, so i'll just answer them here :)
wallpaper/background?
- wallpaper engine on steam, it's called sunrise landscape
one piece posters/mousepad?
- posters are from amazon, mousepad is from akko
keyboard?
- called dorami from akko, the keycaps are called honey milk keycaps from amazon
how do you hang your posters?
- with clear packaging tape, but there are probably better adhesives out there
does the pegboard move/slip when using the standing desk?
- no, there's a small opening that sticks out and keeps it in place. i am also aware ikea sells clamps, but i am personally not a fan of it :/
what is the vertical monitor?
- the same functionality as any monitor, just flipped sideways and changed in the settings

Is the desk light bright enough for u to play games with only the light from the monitor and the desk light
personally, it’s enough for me.
although because it’s on the right side, it’s a little off balanced compared to the left, but it definitely is bright enough and i can see everything well :)
wait did you turn the monitor upside down?? and did you reuse the 2 told monitors and then turn one upside down??

I think what I like the most about this setup is the personality it exudes and how picturesque it looks with the lighting effects, color palette and accessories you've selected. Simply charming. I've started to make some changes in my home office and I'd like to reach this degree of decorative professionalism. I've already swaped my old desk for a Protractor desk from Barcelona Designs and it's time to start shaping my entire setup so that my work environment is even more stimulating. Your cable management in this vid was way too relatable ha.
But imo, the white tape is actually such a simple but clever idea. At least in the video, it had a subtle pattern to the switch plate which was nice! All of the changes overall turned out wonderful.
I saw a little bit ago that you’ve been doing little desk/room updates, so I’m looking forward to checking them out here in a bit! Your aesthetic is super cute.
