This is beautiful Katherine love these colours so feminine as always enjoyed your tutorial love your technique your an inspiration thank you so much for sharing xx
Absolutely gorgeous, I love love love the pretty soft colors on this one 💖💖💖 I've been seeing a lot of people touch resin with their bare hands in videos lately too. Thx for reminding people about the gloves 😁👍
Well that's just drop -dead gorgeous! I've been wondering about doing it this way but was nervous about trying it. Lol thanks sooooo much! This technique feels better for me. From Ontario xo
This piece is stunning. I went for it, of course it didnt come out as good as yours. However, I am honored to imitate your work as the 2nd best form of flattery. The 1st is me donating, which I am doing right now. You are amazing
Relax to watch that, i buy à lot of materials +200€😅 i cant wait to make canvas résine but i think i do buy acrylic bcs i want mixed fluid art and crystal but acrylic is better than mica for pouring
I ALWAYS wear a mask AND gloves and work in a well ventilated area. All the products and tools I use personally can be found in every videos description. Thank you SO MUCH for watching ❤
I had so many moments of doubt when you're pouring the different colours and it looks like it's just not coming together and getting too much. How do you design these? Do you have a roadmap in mind about what will go where or do you make corrections as required?
This piece and video is probably the best video you could've commented on for all of those points. I use the base paint colors as my map essentially. In past videos of mine, I always made barriers out of apoxie sculpt to keep my colors separate and from blending or getting muddy. For this one, the geode clusters helped with the road map and keep colors separate. Less is more with resin. Being conservative with the application will help keep things in place. A second or third layer may be required to achieve the desired look. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching 😍
@@DryerDaysArTsTuDiO thank you. That helps a lot. I've just started experimenting with resin and made one piece. I was thinking of using similar pastel pink shades while making one as a gift for my brother. :)
This is one of my fav pieces! I looked up the crystal cluster molds can you tell me which in particular u used for this piece from the Lekranch site? There are several and I am seeking which you recommend or used in this video in particular. Thank you so much and I just used paypal to say thank you in some small way for everything you are teaching me! Thank you!
Yes I actually do that to my kitchen island in this video: ua-cam.com/video/YQRYxcdX0NU/v-deo.html But you must make sure you are using a heat resistant countertop resin like that by www.stonecoatcountertops.com Use code DDAS for $10 off a $95 order with them!
It's one of the best resin geodes I've seen.

Great video. how much total resin would you use for a project like this? A and B? thanks for sharing
It can depend on your resin, not all resin is equal parts. For this I used about 9 ounces total over 2 layers
So beautiful!!!

Can you pls tell me the name of the gold you traced the stones with. I know you mentioned it but I want to make sure I have it correct.

That one linked is the one I use! I hope that helps. Thank you so much for your donation to my channel 😀
Just beautiful! But, as a newbie, I got lost. What were the crystals put down with? What did you squirt along the sides of the crystals. Subscribed.
Just plain old clear glue by Elmers. Thank you for watching and subscribing!!
Thank you for the info. I love geodes so this and your video on the coasters is just perfect for me!
I am so glad!
Hello beautiful art I wanted to know do you use a pressure pot to make your clusters in the molds tks
I don't make those, I got these from LeKranch Creations lekranchcreations.com/
Perfect!!! 😍💜🥰✨
Thank you so much =)
This is gorgeous!!! How much does it weigh? Does resin turn Amber with the exposure of sunlight?
it's about 3-4 pounds. The resin I use is UV resistant so it's non-yellowing
Just bought some glitter from your store. Can not wait to get it. I absolutely love this piece. Its stunning.
How long do you let your paint dry before adding quartz and resin?
I let it dry 100%, we don’t want any moisture on there when we pour resin 💞
Can we mak a resin art and use it is as a counter top for dinning table?
Yes I actually do that to my kitchen island in this video: ua-cam.com/video/YQRYxcdX0NU/v-deo.html
