    Hi Amanda, tried this technique but my black and white did not flow like your... I used premixed Arteza black and white then added the resin. Can you tell me why the paint was sticky? Thank you.

    • @amandasdesignsofficial
      @amandasdesignsofficial  4 роки тому +4

      It may have been sticky if you used too much paint. You only want about 10% paint to 90% resin. Too much paint will ruin the resin.

    Do you need the thing you used to heat and blow the acrylic, or would a hair dryer or tilting the canvas work too?

    • @amandasdesignsofficial
      @amandasdesignsofficial  2 роки тому +1

      I don't think a hair dryer would heat the resin up enough, but you could try it. It is extremely thick and does not tilt the same way that acrylic paint does.

    This is stunning!! I am going to try my first resin pour. Did you prime the canvas with anything? The stones did u use resin or adhesive before putting it on? Couldn’t see what the clear liquid was. And with resin pouring you don’t need to finish it with clear resin in the end like you would if you did acrylic pouring alone? Correct? Sorry for all the questions this is only my second time painting and loved this so went to incorporate it in. Thanks a bunch!!!! Amazing job xox
