Just want to let you know that I LOVE your videos!!! I just started this addictive hobby a couple weeks ago and have watched a wide array of different tutorials, but your’s are by far the best! You go at a good pace, use laymen’s terms, explain every step and don’t BS with random pretentious talk. I keep going back to your channel to pick a video everytime I want to learn something new. Please keep making these tutorials !!!!!
What a beautiful piece of art the colours are gorgeous enjoyed your tutorial you have made it look so easy I have a lot of projects I want to try and this is right up there at the top your great artist and very patient thank you for sharing xx
I absolutely love your tips and tricks! It’s my first year pouring and I have so many ideas. Your channel has really helped me put my ideas on boards. I especially love your tip of making color patches with your left over resin, as I’ve been trying to figure out how not to waste products. I’ve also learned to organize my pieces and to keep my work area cleaner. You’re so inspiring! Thank you for continuing to educate us 🫶 you’re work is incredible.
I love how detailed and systematized you are with your materials and your swatches. This is one habit I'd like to adapt into my process too. Thanks for sharing!
Finally you're back! also today you have delighted me with a splendid masterpiece! a question: can I also color the resin with acrylic colors? thank you very much.
Thank you Mariangela 😁. Yes you can use acrylic paint. The purple I used was acrylic paint that is a metallic. Even though I only used a very small amount it makes that cup of resin heat up very quickly and must be pured quickly so that it does not flash cure in your cup. Keep that in mind.
Wow, that is so amazing 😀, the colours are so vibrant and that sparkle 😍😍. You make the most wonderful geode inspired pieces!!! I've just made my first ever geode piece. I have been told that I need to do a top coat over the cerne relief lines of they will rub off. I really like the extra dimension they bring to geode pieces and don't want to cover them over. Is there anything else I can use that will give the same look, please?
A clear coat of resin is what I would recommend as well. I love the way the top coat protects the work and adds more shine and dimension in my opinion.
Hi Janet, I hope all is well?? Thank you for link to the Fire Glass, I'm in Canada, so they don't ship here. But I found some on Amazon. May I ask, where are you located??
Beautiful! Do you prime the back of the canvas? I've watched a video where they poured resin in the back of the canvas. Otherwise, it will dent the front of the canvas? Thank you.
Absolutely! I use it all the time and love how it looks. I recently finished this project using both pigment and micas with beautiful effects - ua-cam.com/video/OFk1A36yO50/v-deo.html
CAN YOU ADD FLOTROL WITH THE PIGMENTS THEN PUT IN RESIN? AND SOMETIME WHEN I DO A DAM I USE PAINT BY TULIP WITH THE NIB..EITHER THE GLITTER, MATTE OR SLICK THAT WORKS TOO.
Absolutely beautiful Janet, gorgeous colours and a terrific tutorial - thank you :)
Thanks so much 😊 Mandy. Appreciate that.
So beautiful. That wine and roses color is gorgeous
Thanks Rose Marie 💕

Beautiful!

Thank you.
I do not use canvas for geode artworks I prefer artist panels by Ampersand.
Thank you:)
Can you use mica powders in resin?
Absolutely! I use it all the time and love how it looks. I recently finished this project using both pigment and micas with beautiful effects - ua-cam.com/video/OFk1A36yO50/v-deo.html
Can you use a thin line of hot glue to slow blending?
I have never tried that but it might work
CAN YOU ADD FLOTROL WITH THE PIGMENTS THEN PUT IN RESIN? AND SOMETIME WHEN I DO A DAM I USE PAINT BY TULIP WITH THE NIB..EITHER THE GLITTER, MATTE OR SLICK THAT WORKS TOO.
I have never added Flotrol. It will not do anything in resin like it does for acrylic pouring to get cells.
Absolutely exquisite Janet! Fabulous colours! I love that you showed us how to use all sorts of colourants in resin xxx
Thanks Melissa 💕 So many colors & combinations. This was a great one for color play for sure
WHAT DO YOU CLEAN THE WALL ART WITH ?
I use a VERY soft cloth. If needed it can be damped to remove any spots and immediately buff the moisture off before it dries.
