This came up in my suggesteds. I actually live in NZ, in the Hobbiton area and have been to the gift shops and on the tour many times. This was actually super similar to the offical shop there, so this was extra comforting and magical for me!! Thank you!

I live in Matamata (where Hobbiton is) I used to pick up hay on the Hobbiton farm when I was younger during the summer it is a beautiful place.
It's a shame at the moment because NZ is on lockdown so we don't get to see as many tourists now.

I really enjoyed this soothing approach, talking about middle earth. I liked the hand movements and the wisphering was the best thing. I felt very relaxed and I fell asleep. I really didn't mind the background sounds. I will watch again for sure :)

I think a substantial part of one's accent in a non-native language is dictated by the individuals who taught them. For instance, when I was taking some Spanish courses in university, my professor (who was from Peru) was able to correctly identify that I learned Spanish from an American or Mexican based on the way I spoke. Both my high school Spanish teachers were American, and Spanish was not a native language for either of them.
Of course, there is also the aspect of what other languages one speaks. If I tried to learn Portuguese, it would probably sound hilarious because I know enough Spanish to get the Portuguese extra-wrong combined with being a native English speaker. :P
Ecliptic Dawn came here to say that. Drive 20 miles in every direction and we sound different. For literally no reason at all either.
