That's because he is being purposely misleading to prove some kind of point. Watermelon (100g) 30 cals Glazed Donut (64g) 269 cals You could have almost 1000g of watermelon before getting to the same calories as a donut. Now watermelon itself is not very filling to be but other fruits and berries are for when I'm in a snacking mood. Although cold salted watermelon after being outside all day hits the spot
This is the kind of advice I could get behind. It’s realistic I live in Louisiana and all we have around us is fattening food and I just don’t wanna not eat it so the key is moderation. Thanks for spreading positive realistic word!
love this!! i always found these types videos so annoying. giving up your favorite foods entirely only leads to more intense cravings and inevitable binges, it's sooo important for people to learn that all foods fit
I find Oreos and other cookies to be a trigger food. If I have them in the house, eventually I’m probably going to crack and eat the whole bag.,Just my experience. There are some foods it’s best not to have in the house. If I really want them it’s better that I have to make the effort to go get them somewhere else.
I've struggled with alcohol and obesity for quite a while. It took me years to lose the weight and put the bottle down and keep it down . For me the all or nothing approach works best . I don't want 1 donut or 1 shot . Moderation would be dope if I could pull it off though.
So I think you missed the point of those videos... the ones I see aren't saying "never eat a donut again" but are rather giving you a visual difference between food choices, their calories, and how much volume they have. Some people struggle feeling hungry all the time even with a high protien diet. When I first started I would eat 2-2.5 lbs of meat and get anywhere from 200-250g of protien and still be hungry. So when I went to fill put the rest of my calories I picked foods that were lower in calories but that would make me feel like o ate alot more. Over time that insatiable hungar went away and I was able to start eating normally again. Also giving a donut to a diabetic who is trying to lose weight and help their condition is like giving a needle and meth to a method addict who's trying to quit. Honestly between myself and everyone else I know personally who found success in weight loss and strength training agree on is cut out ALL the crap food till you have been on a diet for 6 months. During those 6 months have a better relationship with food and knowing what and what not to shove in your face hole on a daily bases. After all that yeah enjoy a cookie or a donut and understand that cookies and donuts shouldn't even been in your diet weekly non the less daily
You should make a video informing people to switch the kinds of sugars they eat and drop this “good food” act entirely Tons of folks have a corn syrup intolerant actually do have to only eat fruit
I love how the watermelon is the same exact size as the donut

Exactly! I and many others don't like the thought of having to cut out our favorite foods. Moderation is key.

It’s a good trick for a certain time. But after a certain time your brain will love the healthy food more and doesn’t even want the bad food anymore
