    Thanks, Gergő, for the help. I was one of the victims you mentioned :)) My maximum volumetric speed was 17m3/s, and the nozzle temperature was 240/235 when the problem occurred. I was using Orca Slicer and Jayo PETG filament, which is made by Sunlu.

    changing the toolhead for a dragon burner or even an afterburner, I think, is better than continuing using the stock one form Sovol: We can have higher temps, flow rates, speeds and acc. but also the possibility to continuing using our V6 nozzles, specially hardened ones.

    Thanks for all the work you've put into these SV08 videos, Gergo. I'm struggling a bit with my new printer manifesting in problems with print quality. I've yet to walk through your "19 things" video though, so I'm not going to start asking questions until I've done that. I can say that one thing anyone can do to up their SV08 game is to buy the BTT 5" touch screen replacement and plug it in. I couldn't get my wifi.cfg to connect and the BTT made that problem go away. So inexpensive and works out of the box. Add Nadir's mount and you're good to go.

    Since last week I have put three kilograms of Eryone black PETG through my SV08. The SV08 config for PETG is 85C for the bed, which in retrospect seems high. I know it didn't play well with the Sovol textured PETG build plate which I've already had to flip. I've been using gluestick on the smooth side and that seems to work well enough at 85C. Going to have to play with the settings I think if I ever slow down long enough to tinker. Anyway, no issues with the nozzle so far.

    I don’t feel like I’ve posted excessively. I’ve had three failures resulting in the loss of three hotends, three build plates, a heated bed and the tool homing area at the back of the bed. It has been almost two months since I received the printer, and today it appears my “fixed” nozzles and the latest print bed replacement are out for delivery.

      @@Magin68 "understandably posted excessively" is a contradiction stemming from an imperfect mastery of English that I see a lot working with very smart people from various parts of the world on a daily basis. In this instance, Gergo is using excessively when he means "a lot." You hear it as "too much." A little charity goes a long way. How can Sovol do so bad job with all the macros it is so hard for me to believe that. From the start of this printer life it has so many stuff messed up, but messing M104 and M140... Cmon we've all done it in the past I suppose but for a company to do that is ... pfff mindblowing to me
    To be honest I am kind of scared to run mine when i receive it. With all the issues in the group (not only nozzle) I am getting really confused about this machine

    • @gerGoPrint3D
      @gerGoPrint3D  Місяць тому +1

      Yes, their software people are not the strongest, but this is where the community can easily make up for these. All files being open source (and avaialble on GitHub) we could even add pull requests.
      As for this specific mistake, it's basically harmless, as this branch of the code seldom gets executed (only if the bed is more than 5°C hotter than the target temp - and unlikely scenario) and even if it runs, it will just break with an error, as almost any nozzle target temp is higher than the max allowed for bed (it will surely not try to heat to that, Klipper has safeguards in this regards).
      Final thought: as a dislexic person myself, I have always found it ufortunate G-code designers made the bed / extruder commands so similar in appearance, just two digits switched. M109 vs M190 and M104 vs M140

On monday, i mailed their support about my order of the enclosure and a set of nozzles i placed 6 weeks ago, in which i wanted to know whats going on, if the nozzle issue causing the order beeing stuck. First person wrote the covers were out of stock, and there had been any nozzle issues at all. Some hours later iwas told in a second mail from another person both are shipped right before.
