I hope that you manage to get all of the money they owe you and the rest of the workforce. Hi Ben, stay positive. I’ve been made redundant twice and both times I’ve thought it was the end of the world. But I got myself up and brushed myself off and reset. The right opportunity will come your way, it just takes time sometimes. But I’m absolutely certain that you will sort something as you see like a genuinely nice person.
As a customer who has lost money on orders not delivered, I thought I had a bad experience but it is so much worse for you and the other employees. In my opinion, when loads of freelancers start 'jumping ship' over several months..... I could name names but a certain headliner left and I could see the writing was on the wall ..same with Ideal World .. Sadly for these company directors it's all about profit and loss..business is business.. no profit, staff lose , empty promises ... heartbreaking for those at the bottom... I really wish you well , you are a bright young man and hopefully someone will snap you and your expertise up....

So sorry. My partner has recently been made redundant after 44 years.... he hasn't had his last two months pay. It's sucks. He was only ever part time and self employed so he won't ever get redundancy pay. People can be so evil. At least he doesn't have the added problems of looking for work as he's of retirement age. A while back they asked him if he was willing to carry on after he retired and he was, so it came as a huge shock. Best of luck for the future ❤

I was an avid viewer/customer of Hochanda. The C&C merger felt a bit weird as I always preferred the Hochanda experience and never understood why Hochanda adopted the C&C guise, rather than keeping the Hochanda “overlay”. Once an alternative channel to both appeared (never watched it myself) I got a bit wary and I found myself boycotting the brands who had gained their popularity on Hochanda but jumped ship to the new channel. I hope you get sorted out soon - best wishes.

Can I add that whilst I fe6fir all the staff, it's the suppliers that need your thoughts... 90 day accounts not paid for stuff sold by the show.. Many will now have no business

I think what create and craft did to all the staff and all the companies who are now thousand of pounds out of pocket and a lot of them are small companies. They owe me money from the last order that never arrived.

There I had been working 9 years and a few years back they took the name of the previous channel I was working at ! We were told they were looking for another investor but not sure what truth is any in that. Just a shame as we were promised that months pay and then found out we were redundant on payday and told you will be paid ( not from them but the government which is a joke), we are all going through the process of claiming it back from the government for that and redundancy but that is a process in the UK. I think what create and craft did to all the staff and all the companies who are now thousand of pounds out of pocket and a lot of them are small companies. They owe me money from the last order that never arrived.

@@alexperkins8433 THANKS Alex, it’s over 20 years working there and another channel. There I had been working 9 years and a few years back they took the name of the previous channel I was working at ! We were told they were looking for another investor but not sure what truth is any in that. Just a shame as we were promised that months pay and then found out we were redundant on payday and told you will be paid ( not from them but the government which is a joke), we are all going through the process of claiming it back from the government for that and redundancy but that is a process in the UK. You won't be able to claim anything from the government apart from Universal Credit.
@@amandag5072 thank you due to being married I’m not able to claim Universal Credit which is fair enough, I’m entitled to job seekers and because the company has gone into administration we can claim for redundancy and notice pay.
