My dad always said to me, and I'm 65 now, that as one door closes another will open. I have had many life experiences and feel your pain. It's almost like bereavement. I lost my husband this year and lots of the things you were saying I could identify with. I wish you every success at finding your dream job, look after yourself and stay positive if you can. Yes you will have down times but that's natural in the circumstances, they come like waves but the storm will subside. Best wishes and good luck for the future x
@@tinabarwick4143 Thank you so much Tina for your kind and thoughtful words. It sounds like you’ve been through so much yourself, and I’m truly sorry to hear about your loss. Your dad’s words are so true - as one door closes, another opens. It can be hard to see it sometimes, but thanks great to hear it from you. I’ll definitely hold on to your advice Thank you again for the positivity and encouragement - it means a lot. Wishing you all the best as well. Take care, and sending my best wishes right back to you ❤️
@@Benandmycat Big hugs, another of my dads sayings "Onwards and Upwards" he was such a wise man and I didn't always listen, wish I had looking back lol 🙂
@ “Onwards and upwards” is something I’ll remember too - thank you for sharing it with me. Take care, and here’s to carrying those wise words forward 😊
Im glad that people have been kind. Just a word of caution, from real life experience, curb your spending NOW, get used to a smaller budget but buy a can of foodstuff ( that you would actually eat) per week to start a stockcupboard. Very useful to have, should the benefits system ever make a mistake and not pay you. Btw - i would employ you in a customer facing role like a shot. Im sure, with your positive attitude that you will find work soon. Tc.
@@lynnoorman2144 Thanks Lyn, this is really great advice thanks, yes I’m being really careful with my spending now. To be honest I’m fortunate that my husband Ash is really good at making something out of a few ingredients. Also have been getting tins of baked beans for 28p and love tinned sardines also. Ah thank you much appreciated ❤️
Hi, Ben. So sorry this is your new experience. I would love to employ you, if we had an opportunity to suit you (want some temporary work on our dairy farm whilst we sell it??!). Your personality just shines. Lots of love. Ali x
Just wanted to say where ever you end up working (and i am sure you won't have to wait too long before someone snaps you up) they will be lucky to have you on their payroll. I'm getting towards retirement in about 18 months but i have been in the same position as you are now and can appreciate it's a very worrying time, but with your positive attitude and lovely personality you have so much going for you. Wishing you all the best - just try to keep positive and all will come good. 😊
Ben…be brave & keep the faith..often the end of one chapter is the beginning of an even better chapter…hard to feel that way now but you will get there..x
Will they be able to the help you with the job you would want. They were useless helping my husband who’s an engineer, they had nothing at all for him. He found his own. No assistance whatever, hope your experience is going to be more positive. Do they carry your type of job?❤️
@@oliveappleby8672 ah sorry to hear that. Thank you they were helpful in talking me through things. To be honest I’m very much on the job hunt myself and need to consider all options at the moment ❤️

The coaches at Peterborough job centre are useless, so it's probably a good thing you live nearer to Corby. Good luck.
Thanks for wishing me luck 🍀
