Just found the channel. I loved Create and Craft, I was working for Toys R Us when they went under, The Hardest bit was, Having to carry on going to work, from when we were told we were going to close to when we did, still having to go into work feeling all positive, when you felt anything but, hope you find a new job soon

Hi Ben, when I heard about the demise of create and craft my heart went out to all the presenters, floors staff and behind the scenes folk. You probably won't remember me as it's been a few years but you were floor manager when I came to Hochanda and then The Craft Store as a demonstrator for almost a year. You were always so friendly and helpful and even helped me with my bags when leaving the studio. I very much hope that you will find employment soon. Best wishes Pauline. Xx crew

You went to the wicked premier ? Where was it? Did you see Ariana?
@@OneHundredPiplup Yes I went to where is was early in the afternoon. It was amazing to take it all in! The European premiere was at the Royal festival hall on South Bank in London ! Unfortunately I realised to be able to see Ariana, Cynthia and the Wicked cast you had to of got a wristband the day before as security were moving you on to keep crowd levels to a certain number. Was incredible though to see the green carpet and movie premiere set dressing in person and check out all the WIcked movie things happening in London! 😊
@ what’s the nearest tube station?
@ For where the Wicked Premiere was I recommend Waterloo or Embankment however it was only there for the day yesterday & will all be taken down now. For the other WICKED LONDON THINGS I COVER IN THE VLOG: For the St Pancras Christmas WICKED tree you need King’s Cross tube station, for Liberty’s you need Oxford Circus station and for all the GREENWITCH in Greenwich you want the CUTTY SARK DLR station. Also the WICKED musical’s nearest tube station is Victoria. Hope that helps 😊

It's such a horrible situation for you. Sorry you are all going through it. This is all too common. My husband had the same happen to him. He did get the money from the government & and changed careers as a result. Well done, you, Ben, for staying positive! You will find a new exciting adventure awaiting you around the corner! 😊

@@alexperkins8433 THANKS Alex, it’s over 20 years working there and another channel. There I had been working 9 years and a few years back they took the name of the previous channel I was working at ! We were told they were looking for another investor but not sure what truth is any in that. Just a shame as we were promised that months pay and then found out we were redundant on payday and told you will be paid ( not from them but the government which is a joke), we are all going through the process of claiming it back from the government for that and redundancy but that is a process in the UK. Thank you so much and so TRUE! Much appreciated 😊

Can I add that whilst I fe6fir all the staff, it's the suppliers that need your thoughts... 90 day accounts not paid for stuff sold by the show.. Many will now have no business
@@purplepoppy1965 Thank you for highlighting this, yes I feel for the suppliers who have lost out in a big way,many of them I have the privilege of knowing and working alongside. It’s an incredibly difficult time for them and many guests that have demonstrated for them, please whatever you do support the independent craft businesses as they need you more than ever right now. However as this is my channel I hope you understand I can only share my story and highlight what I personally fully know about which is what I’m going through right now which is the journey that I’m going through ❤️
