Sat watching this with my Grandmother Christmas '96. Unfortunately she passed away only about six weeks later. This special always reminds me of her. Great memories of that Christmas no question.
Depressing comment or what 😂
@thekopjames3889 if it is that depressing why the hell are you reading it ffs.
Plenty of other comments to read or have you not noticed!
@@thekopjames3889for the likes, it's all about the likes..
Both of you grow up maybe you need to lose someone you love then you might know how they feel show some respect you f c
Only fools and horses was comedy gold the writer John Sullivan was an absolute genius in creating the show.
Couldn't agree more mate..the best ever..
This show will never be beaten in my humble opinion
Lol - after all these years it still holds up - brilliant.
Watched this with my beautiful parents Eileen and Dennis along time ago. Wonderful times. Really wonderful times. Best of my life.
"It's not my fault, it's the brewery. They've brought in this new revolutionary new rule - from now on, customers have to pay for their drinks! Haha.
The Nag's Head was always at the vanguard of brewery revolutions!
One of the best lines from the entire show
Grew up watching this and even as a child it was the most look forward to show every Christmas! There will never ever be any sitcom like this or as good as this ever again.
Rodney should have known the minute “old shep” started playing on the hold music 😂
I wish the whole scene of Del Boy winding Rodney up on the phone was kept. It's one of the funniest moments ever, makes me cry every time 😂 Love OFAH ❤
Came up on recommendations, clicked on it, watched it right through laughing my head off. Have them on DVD and seen them all many times, years ago, but they still work. That phone call with Del is brilliant. 'No, I haven't got a brother'.
Classic British comedy! The 'Time on our hands' bit is marvellous. With both brothers fainting and the classic line: 'Well, we've had worse days'. Longlife fan of OFAH :-)
John Sullivan and all the actors..Pure Genius!
It's a shame it's all gone. But with your videos we have great memories. Thank you
Timeless. Absolutely timeless. God, I used to love watching the Christmas Specials. Magical, magical times. The 90’s, I miss them!
I've watched OFAH episodes many many times and I still think OFAH is the best comedy series ever produced, it's a shame it's no longer on TV especially the Christmas specials which were epic.

It's still got re-runs going on gold its still on English telly.
The funniest part here is where Albert uses Coffee for the dinners instead of Gravy😂
Not only have you managed to sink every war ship and battle carrier you have ever been on but now you have gone a knackered a gravy boat 😂
@@geordie1102 😂😂😂😂
(pours coffee over dinner)
"GIT."
@@incarnateTheGreat hahaha 👍😂
One you don't really see on Come Dine With Me lol 😂
Gold. Never to be forgotten. Shame that things have changed so much. ...... But thats what we all say , after a while. ....Have fun enjoy your time! ...... ❤❤ Mines cool.x
8:00 One of the best scenes in not only OFAH, but also in the entire history of British telly.
Not even close. There are scenes in OFAH that make this look dull.
It wasn't a hairdryer it was an electric paint stripper lol. You'll see him in the hospital at the end with the others.
Pure clean British comedy at it's best.
On a different level to the trashy swearing filth of comedy today .
Fantastic series. My late father loved it. Great characters and much loved . Dodgy but lovable.
The best of comedy .
Classic comedy show. To this day I've never seen some of the early episodes because I had no TV back then and it was pre-internet. I have a little free time coming up so will try to track them down.
I watch this every weekend on UKTV Gold. OFAH will never be beaten.
one of our top 3 comedy shows.
The US wishes their shows were as funny as ours
Thank you for showing this - still makes me laugh so much - simply the best ever - keep showing these they can cheer so many people up - I am from South London so I can relate so much to the humour Best Ever
The Reliant featured in this is now at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon. The museum also has Del Boy's Capri Ghia and their garage door on display.
This show was absolutely brilliant there will never be a better funnier sitcom on British television again nothing beats ofah. I’d put on the buses second to ofah.
Yes I agree with you only fools and horses then on the buses and fawty tower's absolute classics and like you say there will never be anything close to being as good as these
@@COYG49 yes most definitely 👍👍
Really?
Still priceless today , the watch one 😂😂😂😂
I still piss myself at this show, I’ll never tire of it I just wish the episode where they became millionaires was the last one ever made 👍
Classic 🤣👍
I can't believe i have never heard of this show i love British comedy looks good i Will give it a try
Boyce investing in tesla before it was a company. He is some boy 😂
It was great that Del and Rodney finally became millionaires. Great writing. Superb method acting. Great stuff.
You'll never see the like again. Absolute classic! X
FANTASTIC THANKS 🎉❤
Always priceless 😂😂😂
The brewery have bought in this revolutionary new rule. From now on customers have to pay for their drinks 🤣🤣
If I wanted a parrot I would buy one. Js. We all heard it ya know.

Funny hahahaha I love this show..
So I could end up looking like Lilly Savage, classic mike 😂😂😂
Funny and delightful series
Classic stuff.
I can't be the only one that really likes Trigger's jacket.
"Just over 3 million each?" Auction houses work on a commission basis.
I like the hair dryers in the background
-"A bit over three million, each."
-"We've had worse days."
I enjoyed that, happy TV days :)
Boyce involved in electric cars sounds about right .
Best show ever ❤️ 💙 🙌
Only the best 😂😂👍
The best comedy
Best TV show I have ever seen❤️
Should have ended it on Time on our hands. Perfect ending.
Makes me laugh - we've had worse days lol 🤣🤣
funniest bit is boyces face when he sees the payout
Brilliant
Loverly Jubberly :)
Lavly jabbly
This was a brilliant programme and i loved watching it
Can’t beat abit of only fools 😂
I'll buy the sandwiches, cause you bought the rolls
Boycie was right about Electric Cars!
Well, it's actually John Sullivan who was right about them. He wrote the script.
@@ashleelmb yeah but it’s boycie who says it it’s we all take it as it came from boycie don’t be a kill joy pal.
@@David_Mc_Our_God_Reigns Kill joy or not, I'm not wrong. Sullivan wrote the scripts. It came from him. That's a fact.
@@ashleelmb yes your right I totally agree but us fans see it as boycie saying it it’s his acting skills that make it funny so to all of us apart from you believe it to be a saying from boycie ok mate. Thanks

3:05 the future is electric cars.
Incredible
It's hard to forget late 80's and early 90's
You can see Rachael was trying not to laugh for real lol
Who’s Rachael
Raquels real name is or was Rachel, in the episode where you find out she's slaters ex wife he refers to her as "my Rachel" but yeah I'm with you no fan would call Raquel Rachel lol
I know people, thankfully, have different sense of humour, but if anybody didn't piss their sides laughing when Dell had Mike off with the bet, but especially when Trigger did it to 'Dave', then there's something wrong with them and I suggest some 'happy pills' from the Doctor. Even though I've seen it numerous times and know exactly what's coming, I piss my sides every time. Brilliant!
How did Rodney not know his own brother’s number before calling 😂😂😂😂
Uncle alberts laugh hahahaha
Rodney you plonker!🤣
I wish i could go back to the 80’s
See! There you go, Dave!
Time on our hands should have been the last one. Would have been a magnificent ending to the series.
Totally agree!
Talking about air pollution and electric cars 30years ago,now why does that ring a bell😢😊.
No I wouldn't Mr Farnham😆😆😆
I feel so sad for the youth of to day dictated by unhappy woke me we are very lucky to have had this time untill evil came into play
It was amazing watching them go through each hooky deal and mishap through the show losing grandad and gaining uncle albert del finding raquel and rodney with cass then eventualy seeing them earn there millions.
Only for it to all come crashing down.
Best salesman in the game
Could sell ice to Eskimos and sand to the sand people of the Sahara.
@@blackporscheroadster6415 could sell a mop to a cleaner mate
WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH, only joking this is pure gold.
The days when we loved bisto gravy
Why he does not have a royal like a cbe or mbe his co acter is a sir
Well Delboy/David Jason went on to make other shows that got millions of viewers (Darling buds of May ,Frost ,etc.) whereas Rodney/Nicholas did Goodnight Sweetheart and other lesser known roles i think
I didn’t realise Mike Lindell was cast in this. Does a brilliant British accent.
On the slate Mike ? On the house del
They don't even lead up to the watch at auction, instead putting on random moments and then the watch moment instead of leading yo to it with earlier scenes and culminating with auction.
For anyone wondering, that £6.2mil adjusted for inflation in 2023 is just under £15mil
Priceless. Should have ended the series there as it went downhill afterwards with the silly plots.
still liked the garry episode thow
So not true every episode was brilliant they were simply the BEST
I'm wondering why Rodney didn't recognise the phone number he rang, just because it's a digital phone doesn't mean phone number would change
I would give Raquel a 2 out of 10 ! and thats only because ive never seen a 1 before ! 😂
Even in 1996 electric cars were a joke :)
Boyce went on to make millions investing in Tesla
2:40 *Amazing they were talking about EV's back in '96 - how stupid we are to follow this route, even the Milkman scrapped his Electric Float and now drives an EU Eco Friendly Diesel !*
There's no Father Ted in this ..
Boyce new the future
Yes the last in the series they finally became millionaires.
They don't make them like that anymore.
If only I could reverse time and enjoy real t.v
amogus
is this lon chaney jr's son?
Whatever happened to electric cars then?
Typical London wise man
A show the BBC would never make today. Too WOKE I mean it would be watered down for political correctness and be boring
Nonsense.
Yawn
True
Well said
