I don't know why, but I never get sick of watching this timeless classic. It's still the best comedy around. It's not vulgar like Mrs browns boys, it's true comedy. It's sad all the ones who have passed.
One of the greatest comedy series with its superb scripts, superb acting & superb direction. This sitcom could take you from crying with laughter to crying from tragedy within a scene. Amazing writing which wouldn't have worked with lesser actors. Hasn't David Jason had a remarkable career?!
True story, my grandfather visited from Zimbabwe, didn't care much for UKTV besides Newsnight & other Beeb current affairs but Only Fools & Horses had him crying with laughter. Last year my nephews 4 & 10 were protesting about watching "this crusty show" with their Venezuelan grandma backing them up. All three were laughing their heads off rewinding bits and became hooked. 3 very generations, very different cultural backgrounds and same result. Only Mr Bean matched that but without any words. OF&H is a timeless classic.
RIP true greats, Mike, Boycie, Uncle Albert, Grandad all leaving this genius memories that will last a lifetime. My girls are young but these are memories i will share with them. RIP true greats
Quite wrong. The word '$hit' was used in various episodes, they were edited for use on UK gold but still contained on BBC repeats and video/dvd releases. Not sure about the Netflix releases. Also contained a few 'ba$tard$ and a few other mildlly offensive words, also edited out of UK gold versions. Also cockney rhyming slang swearing featured a lot. Words such as Berk, as used in this video, is rhyming slang for the 'C' word. Berkshire Hunt = C**t Still, its the best TV show ever. E V E R !
There was a good few swears and ethnic ism's that are completely against the modern pail . And Jumbo Mills saying "drier than an abbo's armpit doesn't offend me but there are some sensitive souls about... 😀
@Gruggadubdub yeah but they're not swear words though, you may have used them as offensive words but that doesn't change the fact that they're not in any way swear words
An hours worth of best bits from only 7 episodes in series 2! That tells you everything you need to know about OFAH! Some shows don't have that in 7 series! Legendary Show!
The chandelier episode where the word solar energy is mentioned was ahead of it’s time. Sir David Jason’s accent and acting abilities really made it. The chemistry between Del, Rodney & Grandad was amazing. The humour is pure class. John Sullivan was a genius in writing Only Fools & Horses. The sweeper driver was married to Anna Karen from On The Buses.

timeless classics, the best sitcom ever from the UK, and I have every episode, and they are still funny not matter what, the only other comedy that comes close is Fawlty Towers, but only 12 of these were made.
Sorry but there is loads better than Fawlty Towers, Yes Minister, yes prime minister, blackadder, keeping up appearances ,porridge, open all hours to name a few,but nothing tops only fools
Fawlty Towers was limited to 12 episodes, by John Cleese and Connie Booth, to avoid diluting what they had achieved in the two series: They knew it would be a mistake. Even Only Fools & Horses fell into this trap towards the end...with "Christmas Specials" and ludicrous storylines....The BBC was famous for this. They ruined many a fine memory of decent comedies over the decades. Over Exposure never works. But...The BEEB never learns.

When I was in my 20's I wondered if this would ever get tired and old, so far 44 and still one of the funniest series of all time.
The word "timeless" gets thrown around a lot, especially for things that aren't. But this will always be timeless.
The funniest
Laughed when I was 10 and still laughing at 38. Quality stuff
I don't know why, but I never get sick of watching this timeless classic. It's still the best comedy around. It's not vulgar like Mrs browns boys, it's true comedy. It's sad all the ones who have passed.
Let's be honest: Mrs. Browns Boys is pretty garbage..... Not in the same league at all.
Del works hard! Never gives up! Love the never die spirit! Holds the family together!
I think that pretty much sums up the series*
I can just watch any of these over and over and still laugh. I will never get bored of them. Brilliant.
One of the greatest comedy series with its superb scripts, superb acting & superb direction. This sitcom could take you from crying with laughter to crying from tragedy within a scene. Amazing writing which wouldn't have worked with lesser actors.
Hasn't David Jason had a remarkable career?!
Easily the best UK comedy show ever. Everything is perfect from the writing to the cast to the acting perfection 🥰
Agree
This show was and still is phenomenal.. Reminds me of lovely nights with my mum.
Yes! Me too! With my mum and dad! 😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nothing to beat British Comedy & Only Fools & Horses is the BEST!
Older British comedy. Modern PC just isn't that funny.
Still game 💯
Does Scotland not be part of it Rab c nesbit @ Still Game 👈
RIP true greats
trigger ❤
There will never be another TV show with this Caliber of quality of content
Grandad, "I'd have to think twice." My favourite line of all. Beautiful set-up.
"I was just about to pull a French sort!" ..cracks me up ...
Timeless comedy. So well written an even better performed 👏🏼
Only fools and horses: The best comedy ever!
No words justify how good this show was!!
No comedy beats Only fools & horses. Was so funny while being so realistic at the same time.
@@caseyfalconer7347 totally agreed! A comedy you can truly relate to 👍
@@theabandonedhunter3604 💯
The best of the best.. and not one swear word in any of them
Quite wrong.
Berkshire Hunt = C**t
Still, its the best TV show ever.
E V E R !
Clean comedy at its best👌
There was a good few swears and ethnic ism's that are completely against the modern pail .
And Jumbo Mills saying "drier than an abbo's armpit doesn't offend me but there are some sensitive souls about... 😀
@@kennymacm3031 I know. Good innit!
@Gruggadubdub yeah but they're not swear words though, you may have used them as offensive words but that doesn't change the fact that they're not in any way swear words
One of the best comedy tv shows made.
Will never get bored of this show. Absolute classic 😂😂
I cut my finger off with a bolt cutter
ONE OF THE FUNIEST SHOWS. LOVED ALL THE BRITISH COMEDYS. SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF JOHN CALLIS. GOD BLESS.. WILL NEVER BE FORGOTEN. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Easter 2023 Today my son and l were having lunch in a club overlooking a bowling green
All the players were having a good time. My son mentioned do you remember when Ronny was a tennis player and someone asked if he preferred grass to astro turf and he said he had not smoked astro turf
We laughed , a show that can continue to make you smile has to be a good thing cheers
The British sense of humour at its very best.
treasure it, it's being cancelled.
On par with porridge, Fawlty towers...
@@weeblywinkleman6410 I am also very fond of Rising Damp.

Fairly, I'm very impressed by your culture and language skills.. It shows you speak all human languages, German, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Swahili, Persian, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Danish, Turkish, and many more and you watched and known the comedies of all world cultures... I'm really really really impressed!
@@CricketEngland I loved Outnumbered. That’s it 🤷🏻♀️
@@humanbeing8272 Good aren’t I?! 😎
@@humanbeing8272 Have you ever watched a hindi comedy? Pure garbage
Mind you, you couldn't blame him, the way those Germans were carrying on someone was gonna get hurt .. brilliant writing.
One of Grandad's best ever lines.
@@glenncambray626 reminds me of Albert's line about a kamikaze pilot "Way he was carrying on, he'd kill himself. "
This one gets me everythime, brilliant!
Boyce was a legend of a character XX
“What happened to you?”
“Me? Na nothing, Rodney got a bloody good hiding though” (that’s the bit cut from that last scene) 🤣
No matter how bad my day is. I watch a clip of a episode of only fools and horses and my day shines just a bit brighter
Grandad such a cutie....bless a great actor..One of the greatest tv programmes on our tv of all time back in the day.
Who is doing thumbs down, watch the ads then. These people are superb actors..
Hello dear
R.I.P to all the cast we've lost over the years ❤ Grandad, Uncle Albert, Mike, Trigger, and now Boycie :( Thank you for all the laughs :) *imitates Boycie's laugh*
All the laughs with family init classic comedy, still watch today and laugh even tho I know what's going to happen.
The actors are all slowly disappearing and we are next sad ain't it :(
Writer John Sullivan is also gone
@@MartinFarrell1972 never think of the writers even know made the masterpiece , I didn't even know his name till now :(
Protecting his little bruv from a hiding, that's priceless.
Cant wait for Christmas holidays
Will be watching plenty of Only Fools
I always prefer the older series with Lennard Pearce as Grandad. It was still good when Uncle Albert came along but Grandad had the best one liners
Shame he died init ,, rip both of em
They were both great....
Cannot compare the two as you do they played different roles ...grandad was great ... but so was uncle Albert
...My favourite was Trigger ...
Is it earlier or older? I think older.
Totally agree, Albert was great also but grandad and the chandelier is always gonna be king.
@@ianmangham4570
Actually having seen several episodes with grandad and uncle Albert ...
I agree grandad had the best lines ...
His delivery was great...
Uncle Albert was virtually an extra ...
One of the greatest shows of all time, R.I.P John Challis, you'll be remembered forever legend, thankyou for all the great memories 🙏🏻🥀💙🕊
The poker game has to be one of the best scenes of all time. Not just in OFAH. It's dark, funny, emotional. Great writing and acting.
I always end up pissing myself laughing before the chandaleeeer faws 🤣😂🤣😂
Only fools and horses is so classic and unique the most funny comady going out off any comedies ever broadcasted..
John Sullivan was the greatest comedy writer EVER. A GENIUS
He absolutely, undesputably was 👍🏻
Ronnie Barker 2nd place.
WITHOUT A DOUBT
Woody Allen,Eddie Braben, Stan Laurel,,let's not get above ourselves.
timeless classics, the best sitcom ever from the UK, and I have every episode, and they are still funny not matter what,
the only other comedy that comes close is Fawlty Towers, but only 12 of these were made.
Lots of greetings from Novi Marof, Croatia! 🐶✝️🙏🏻🇭🇷😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Who agrees absolutely brilliant
I agree
Also glad they took the time to show a bit more than usual so u know exactly what’s going on, clips I’ve seen before have just been the punch line , , anyway still brilliant
@@Michael-ou4lq I’ve got every dvd of Only Fools Series 1-7 dvd and the Xmas specials I’ve seen the show on tv it’s brilliant no matter what it’s watched on the show ran for 22 years from 1981-2003 on BBC 1 from 8.9.1981 - 25.12.2003 then now on UKGold and Netflix the first tv ad for the show was on the 7.9.1981 telling viewers that shows starts the next day at 8:30 pm
Also in the epsiode Three Men A Women And A Baby In 1991 Rodney made a joke about the name Damien from the 1976 classic horror The Omen wich made Rodney become terrified of Damien in the start of the 1996 heroes and villains epsiode Rodney had a future dream sequence about Damien taking over the trotters independent traders business and starts war
@@jbtv7955 sound like your a fools ‘n’ horses connoisseur but nice to know these things next time I’m in a quiz
Always loved Grandad, actually loved them all.
Only fools and horses is great I can watch it over and over again
I've watched every single episode at least 10 times. I'm now able to describe each episode just based off of the title. Friday the 13th, the Russians Are Coming, and the Longest Night are favourites of mine.
Ive prob watched every episode over a hundred times mate and that's no exaggeration, best show that was ever released on tv without doubt 👍
Absolutely correct, and I'd agree the same order too! Cash & Curry would be my fourth choice 👌
It's Friday the 14th
Which is the one with the nutter when they go fishing...god that's a good episode..I have DVD set which says complete series but missing all the specials.
