- I don't play on private servers and I have said, in more than one video, that I do NOT recommend playing on private servers. But, please, Gravity: stop hunting down and closing private servers! You are just harming the ip (intelectual property). Most of your money comes from mobile games anyway! Stop harming the people who love Ragnarok Online.

The difference between gravity RO is its an online casino and private servers are mmorpg.
I dont usually side with illegal stuff but who cares I wanna play mmorpg ragnarok and not online casino
I recently got into Ragnarok Online for the first time because of private server, I hope it will not close any time soon 😭
Well, apparently the witch-hunt has ended. Many servers started fresh, with similar names. But, still, it's hard to know what Gravity will do next.
gee, i would have still played on iro, if the game didn't crash all the time, and they didn't randomly ban one of my accounts, the customer service said they had no idea how my account got banned and says they couldn't restore it. saying that it might be because i was using a vpn when i wasn't. why would i need a vpn when i am playing from canada.
That's truly bizarre, since using VPN isn't against regulations. But, yeah, they don't offer support if you use VPN. Which makes no sense, since I could be in US and use VPN anyway. But I have heard of horrible corruption, mostly in the server I play (bRO). To be honest, I have heard of staff corruption even in many privates...
Its funny because this happened first (I think) in ROHispano where they try to sue private latin-american servers (like atlantis ro) so more players would play on the official (which didn't work because of the lag and the slow updates). ROHispano also was behind the BR server in terms of updates.
The whole story of ragnarok in Europe is terrible!
i don't believe the will stop. In any case, I wish for a good official EU server that would start from the very beginning with second professions only. *sigh
If I'm not mistaken, the current official european server started with only the second professions, and started adding content from that point on. But I might be mistaken.

eu server owned by a russian company that also owns ru off serv. The problem is that they can't even manage their local server, keep it stable, etc.
Players constantly resent this and complain about the company. The opening of the European server was taken very skeptically and ironically, since it was obvious to everyone that this decision came from a desire to make money.
That's why I said "good" server.
In addition to what you have pointed out, I think Gravity just wanted to have an official server in Europe in order to protect her intellectual property in the EU. The European server does not even figure in Gravity's finance report.
@@gamecitizen cause eu project have failed. And i think it’s because of the distributor.
Gravity serious only about asian community, where donation is routine. EU players are more about the journey not the destinations. Where donation is perceived almost as cheating. Thats why we had so many private projects and made gravity so mad about that…
OathRo might be exactly the server I was looking for...
The best server to play ro is jro but it p2w oriented, if you just want to enjoy pve, then this server is for you
i agree they should just charge them for using their game
So you don't reccomend the Ro Prime for the european people? but i don't get it why it could be closed.
I don't recommend it because of the history Gravity has with European servers. Gravity treated European players like trash. They closed the last server, and everyone lost their characters. It's far better to play on iRO or some private server. If Gravity has closed European servers in the past and they didn't protect the player's characters, what guarantees this won't happen in the future? A server is just a server after all, be it private or official. You can find way more love to the game in private servers than in official ones - especially regarding European ones. I would always recommend official servers, except the European one. I just can't trust Gravity anymore.
"european" ro prime is run by Russians (acquired by some british(?) company recently) and is completelly pay2win commercial driven.
OriginsRO was the last way to play "normal" without all of the pay2win elements.
and yes, I was playing on the "european" (russian) RO for long time and know what impact their p2w model has on gameplay.
@@crckdns The saddest thing is that pretty much all servers are now pay-to-win. I remember, until very recently, people saying NovaRO was getting pay-to-win. I still think it was way less than the official ones. The official one in Japan is the most absurd one. You have to play to pay and it has the most aggressive cash shop of all servers. And their owners, GungHO, own Ragnarok... So, there isn't much future...
Its their game, they effort. Im agree with gravity. Hope they keep doing that.

Vlw! :)
@@gamecitizen carai eu sabia ke vc era br pelo sotaque kkkkkk

Private servers are not following the rules. Fast leveling . 100%drop. No thrill you can have all you want.
At the end of the day player will get bored and stop playing thats why they dont buy those private servers.
I myself don't play on private servers, but I do know of some private servers with the vanilla exp and drop rate. "Pre-renewal". To be honest, when I play on the Brazilian official server, there are kafras that teleport you everywhere, lots of equips that heals, completely overpowered items... Recently I started fresh on iRO, playing slowly, no cash shop, just enjoying the game - no rushing. And I must say it has been very nice!
Yea sure enjoy your Bot driven economy and pay to win gacha bull crap 💩 there’s good P sever that has no pay to win, no bots, no multi clients & there are also 1x exp severs.
