@@CloudminS2 Definitely try the European one. It's the only official European server. The population is low - as low as many privates. Maybe I have said too many bad things about it, but in reality, the server might live for years ahead. I would say it's as stable as some private servers. Try the Europen a one for a while, and if it doesn't satisfy you, you can always check some private later :)
Modern Renewal is a Thema Park MMO, all you do is Instances and Story Quests, Classic RO was just farming the World wich isnt a thing anymore in Modern Renewal.
actualy questing is a better model than just grinding. But the quests should be long and unique instead of wow style quests where you just do 10 micro tasks per questhub each taking a few minutes only. Ro quests were always a journey, they took hours, they took exotic ingredients from many places, often required thinking on your responses in dialogue.
Yeah, the quests to change classes are almost always nice. My problem is not only with the classic "kill 10 monsters" type of quest. End game content is basically replaying the same instanced dungeons. So, if we play Sara's Memory, we have to go through the same dialogues everytime we do it. Same with Jack Wolf and most others. When I do these quests for the first time, they are nice, but to the 50th time, they get boring!
For me questing is worse, even if it’s good, like in eso for example, because i like alts and any quests even good ones become a nightmare after 10th time, but grind is always grind, it can be fun with good battle system, you can also choose different locations.
To me personal quest is much better like build or get enough money to buy VVS wind katana to level up to byalan much faster. Story in mmo should never exist every mmo should be sandbox imo.
Will do! But I must admit that the last time I played woe was many many years ago. WoE is a bit dead. Completely dead, depending on the server. To be fair with Gravity, PvP is an area that they have plans to improve.
