So the valve change is to make the cylinder hold higher pressure ? And this allows for more shots per charge ? Or more powerful shots ? What is the main advantage compared to using the Proton X2 as it comes stock?
This is a welcomed concept to Co2 it would have been nice to see a chrony test if there was any substantial variation in velocity though. PLus how many shots per fill. You said you would provide links yet I don't see any in the description.
im assuming by rare you mean their not commercially available anymore? is there anything like this on the horizon? coz id much rather invest in a couple of these for a gbb pistol than continually buy 12 gram co2, saves the hassle if not a bit of money (eventually) as well.
The trigger never reset... what about double action?
Must you use the gun only in single action?

You need to check the fps with a chronograph. Also how many good shots can you get vs a 12oz CO2 cartridge?

Love your work, your ideas, i was dreaming if all this could be possible, as in india we have very strict gun laws so we can buy pcp's or co2 revolvers and pistols. Fire arms need a license which is nearly impossible to obtain. Want more vedios from you guys and i want to know if we can reach a power of 40 joules in Co2 revolvers a lesser shot count does not matter.
Co2 has a pressure of 900 psi, a co2 canister is filled with liquid co2 that keeps evaporating to maintain 900psi as you use it... so you are stuck at 900 psi with co2!
If you want more power you need to use hpa (high pressured air).
But this is not liquid as co2 is, so you need a much bigger tank, there probably are some decent hpa pistols but not any revolvers as far as i know...
you will find some very nice rifles though, the fx impact is probably the nicest ones at this time, it comes in different calibers, .177, .22, .25, .30 and .35 and you can get barrels made for slugs, depending on caliber and tune they give good range and accuracy, and are capable of hunting deer at-least.
.177 is usually non restricted most places, but many places have all caliber airguns unrestricted.
The original valve is supposed to give 57 bar = 826.7 psi pounds per square inch
The real question is what is the highest psi for any 12g co2 ,or refillable co2 ,my hatsan airgun has 2500psi vortex system
Someone made these years ago. Seen it in airgun world when i was younger.
Can you shot at say 1100 or even 1300 psi?
you can buy the valve and tool from a pushbike shop far cheaper than you got it all for

Co2 holds around 900psi, a 12g co2 can has liquid co2 in it and as you fire this evaporates and maintains the 900 psi for many shots.
If you charge the x2 with 800psi using air you only get one good shot and maybe 3-4 shots after that before it is empty... and they will be duds, a 12g co2 gives what...?, 50-100 good shots?

YOU DONT TEST THE POWER OUT PUT OR HOW MANY SHOOTS YOU GET TO A CHARGE , THIS TEST IS A WASTE OF TIME

co2 cartridges really arent that expensive, i fail to see the usefulness here
If you have PCP gun and high power compressor, then it makes sense. Also, you do not need to remember to buy those capsules.
