I have had great success with putting UV resin over cured ResinCrete after I've decorated the RC item. Made many memorial items adding vinyl, gems and pictures then putting the resin over it and the end result was wonderful.
The kit came with a surprisingly large amount of molds. I like your fingernails. Very Christmas-y. And it's always fun watching you experiment. I appreciate that none of it is fake. Merry Christmas to you & your fam!
Yes the molds are so nice! Im excited to use them with epoxy resin. I really want to make the Christmas tree again.😊 Thankyou. Merry Christmas to you and yours too.😊
Resincrete will not stick to cured epoxy, as you tested, but epoxy will stick to cured resincrete. We had a glass candelabra, then when my grandmother passed, we got her angel.
The tree seemed to break in the resin Crete, correct? It wasn't between the star and the tree. They all turned out cute!! 🥰 Well done experiments! 👏👏 The fully cured epoxy not sticking to the resin Crete shows that your plan was good!! 👍 Merry Christmas!! 🎄 Angel topper! 😇
Yess the resincrete was the only thing that broke at the narrowest point. The Christmas tree mold I think is mostly suited for resin…which Im so excited to try next! Ahhh Christmas angels are pretty. The one my mother had lasted us almost all my teen years. 😌
@JBKonsCreations The angel we had probably was at least 30 years old at the time. Not real pretty, but practical, lol. That will be cool to see it all resin!! 🎄
Not a fan of resin crete or eco resin. I found that the pieces cracked way too easily. I have never had anything come out cleanly without being full of bubbles or breaking. I will never buy it again.
I put the powder in 1st!! Ive used resincrete with resin, resincrete poured 1st then epoxy on top. I really want this kit but its not available in the uk 💔 geat experiments

Its great knowing uv resin works well too…I havent tried uv resin with resincrete yet.
The Santa and tree and the little things for kids to paint are really cute. 😊
😊never used any of this type of resin but your experiment was great. I really like the molds. Thanks
Its always nice to get more molds😆
Thank you for trying and showing this. I have wondered about this but never tried myself 😊

You can glue broken Resincrete pieces together with tacky glue.
ooh, I just used crazy glue. What is tacky glue?
I have a crown for my tree topper.
ooo what is the theme of your tree?

I totally understand. ResinCrete is the only ecopour I’ve tried. Its fun but I do prefer epoxy resin.
