literally, 3 days ago I found and watched your beginner tutorials. learning the half double, double, and triple now thanks to you. was hoping you'd drop a video on something like this, and bam- here it is. keep doing what you do, youre clearly helping a lot of people :) so glad you came back!
Wow! I learned crochet from a fifth grade teacher at my school. It seems like I took a week on each stitch (working on a little project). Of course it couldn’t have taken too long. I made my Mom a Queen size granny square afghan for my final project (for Mothers Day)! You’re really 9n a great pace!! Dont go too fast if you get frustrated. That’s when you have to slow down so you don’t give up.
OMG YOU’RE BACK!!! 7 years ago I had a hysterectomy and was bedridden for weeks. My wife bought me a crochet kit and I found your beginning videos and that was the start of my passion! Thanks to you and the clear way you taught fundamentals, I’m making blankets, scarves, hats, and even some clothes. THANK YOU!!!!
OMG you’re back! I’m so happy! I got back into crochet after 30+ yrs because of you and I am LOVING it! I’m just putting borders around 60 squares for my first blanket as we speak. You’re an amazing teacher and I cannot express how grateful I am to have found you. 🙂
Thank you for your tutorial. Your instructions are very easy to understand . I had finished this sweater after nearly one month 😅. Very slow but i am extremely satisfied with this result.
I love doing crochet. I'm a fast learner but when I first started doing this a few months ago I had no idea what to do, but watching these videos have really helped me. Im currently doing the same jumper as this but black for my little girl. Please post more things like cardigans etc... these are fantastic :)
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this. I've been thinking about starting a new productive hobby and I decided to learn how to crochet today. I watched a few videos on crochet and ordered some hooks, a book, and some yarn. Then I decided to watch some more videos and came across yours. Very inspiring! I can't wait until I can make this sweater! I hope you share how to make some more clothes.
I absolutely love your videos. I am a new subscriber just found your channel. I am a visually impaired crocheter. I have just started to learn and your videos are so helpful. You covered everything about how to hold a hook how to yarn over and pull through everything. Thank you.
Im watching this to get ready for my first crochet project ever, and wow. This is more helpful than anything ive watched before. Tysm for your crochet witchcraft!
I love this sweater and your super clear explanations! I'm a great fan of making notes. I want to try making this sweater with Lanoso Bonito. Will experiment with the hook size to get the desired effect. Thanks so much - you have really motivated me 😍
GREAT PATTERN!!! Glad to see u make a video again I've been NEEDING to crochet something but I'm running low on stuffing (like basically none at all) but o have covid and can't go get anymore so I'm probably make this sweater thank for the tutorial!!
Omg!! Daisy you have grown so much!! I started watching you years ago. I’m just amazed. I started with you and met such wonderful ladies on here. I started my own channel. Thank you so much. You are such a wonder at being so young. I started with how to make a rose. I was just wondering if you will ever do little girl dresses. I have had my first grand son 2 nd one due in September. And 3 grand nieces. All within the last year and half.
You are an excellent teacher. 🌟Your videos are so clear and easy to understand. I can’t wait to make this sweater, I’m looking thru my yarn stash right now! ( I like the texture of the sc & dc. ! )
Started watching your videos a few months ago, took some time off and recently restarted. I hope to be as good as you, eventually! Right now, my hand hurts and all of my practice pieces go from wide to narrow. 🤣 I have a way to go but I look forward to more videos!!! Please keep them coming.
So. Glad to. See your back missed you.. What a. Lovely sweater thanks so much I will make it longer as I am older..i must tell you your tutorial. On reversible stitch is the only one I could follow.. Keep up the great work.. Many blessings.. 💟💟💟💟
Oh look at you Daisy all grown up and looking beautiful.I taught myself to crochet and used some of your videos from @ 8 years ago. How lovely to see you again and that you are still crocheting. This jumper is gorgeous . Best wishes and thanks for your super videos !!
That was amazing to watch, I _had to_ subscribe. I watched it a x2 speed to see the whole thing and the result. I'm an absolute beginner, but I'm going to make this♥
Love love love this! I started watching your videos last year, and learned to crochet from that! You are an incredible teacher, and make things so clear to follow along with. Have you done any work with cotton yarn for kitchen projects - like round placemats and crocheted dishcloths? I’d love to see how you’d go about them ♥️
I learned how to crochet by myself and I was on a call with my friend and she knows that I crochet and she dared me to make and sweater I thought I could free hand it but it was hard so I can me on UA-cam and found your video the first sleeve I made was to small but I tried again and now I have a cute sweater
Wonderful tutorial! I see most people doing this, is there a particular reason you do the sleeves in rows instead of in the round? It seems like it would be easier to get the size right if you did that, but I’m a complete beginner haha
Dear Lass, hello. Where are you. You have actually grown up on UA-cam. I am in my late 90s. I do not tell my whole age, but my late 90s. I have been crocheting since I have been 5 yrs old. I love the way you teach. When will you come back Lass? I would love to see how to do a simple Poncho. It's hard for me to put a coat on, and a Poncho would be easier for me. Will you consider teaching us that? Thank you Lass for teaching me, you have helped me to remember some of the stitches. 👵👍
can you please explain how you did you make front piece(expalin no increase rows in alternate sigle double crochet) i am a begginer and i started fllowing your tutorials a wahile ago . I cannot find any other videos on this kind of pattern.
So, in case anybody's like me and happen to not feel like watching the entire video through before getting started on this project, here's a heads-up: When getting started on the front piece, make sure you make an odd-number of single crochets into the top part of your body ribbing. In the video she makes 37 single crochets, and I thought little of this until I crocheted all the way to the part where you have to start on the V-neck. Having made an even number of single crochets myself, i ran into the problem of having an uneven amount of stitches on each side because the 1 free stitch needed at the V-neck's beginning. By watching the video through first, I probably could've figured this out before starting, but I didn't, and it took realizing both V-lines weren't matching after several retries to accept I wasn't able to just work around the problem - at least not with my baby-crochet level of knowledge. Otherwise, it's a good and well explained tutorial 😊
Confused on attaching under side of back of sleeve . Assuming after front side is done, we flip it over to attach the back of sleeve and o back of sweater? I’m probably wrong but didn’t see it on the video which I love btw! Thanks
hi!! quick question (i'm making this rn, tysm for the pattern), what's the difference between an increase and non-increase row w/ single and double crochets?

This is gorgeous! Can’t wait to make
It’s gorgeous. I really like it and it seems easy. How many yarn you used when knitting this sweater?
hi!! quick question (i'm making this rn, tysm for the pattern), what's the difference between an increase and non-increase row w/ single and double crochets?
i dunno sorry
