I specifically want not only remakes to Black and White (and to be good that time) AND I also want remakes to the sequels as well since those are my favorites in the series.
What if they somehow make them both into one game that would be cool

You're not alone on this, dude. I've been feeling like this ever since the first trailer of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl released. Hopefully, we'll be wrong by November this year.
Currently hoping Black and White remake does Unova justice, especially seeing Castelia and other locations looking absolutely stunning without any stupid inacessible areas.
They better bring back the changing seasons.
Unova is my second favorite region & My second favorite games, so it’s safe to safe I agree with everything u said, I’m so worried I wanna see this region & games get the respect it deserves, cause they’re rlly good.
Ilca has had 2/12 years since BDSP. I'm not exactly worried. My prediction is that Gamefreak and Ilca have set out a plan to release a mainline game every 2- 2 1/2, years. A remake/legends and a new generation respectively. If ILCA comes out with something this year they'll basically have four years from that point moving forward every time they make a game. Same case for GameFreak.
To me I hope they have the Pokédex that they had in Black 2 and White 2 and possibly have both versions in on by Black 1 and 2

Disregarding the subject of the video, your video editing has become SO GOOD, OMG! You've gone far from your BW Rewrite series to now. Here's to more awesome projects in the future!
Now regarding the actual subject, i feel like they should stick with the look that BW and B2W2 already had and expand upon it. Those games still look good even by today's standards. Only major changes i could ask out of BW remakes would be to make the event legendaries available, fix the level curve in the postgame and have more triple battles (considering that was one of the main mechanics of that generation), Either way, let's just hope they can get it right this time around.
I really wanna see Marine Tunnel, Pokéstar Studio, and Pokémon World Tournament in the graphics today. Alongside all the musics in BW2W2 remastered.
Amazing video as always. Having an Episode Grey where Zinzolin escapes your Sage arresting with Looker thanks to the Shadow Triad would be an amazing impetus to stop the events of the sequel from happening since you would prevent them from bailing Ghetsis. Maybe you and Hugh (who would act like Zinnia/Kieran here) are able to defeat Colress in Giant Chasm before the creation of the Plasma Frigate. A Delta scenario for Pokémon Pitch Black and Stark White would be amazing. We don't need Lentimas or Humilau, or even Routes 21 to 23... if anything just make Southwest Unova an open zone similar to the Sinnoh postgame. There would be no World Tournament since the Cold Storage is still intact, but if you have Roxie, Marlon, etc. come to the Battle Subway since only Emmet would be there I feel like that could work. If you play as Hilbert, I feel like Hilda should be the successor of that facility. It's a new take on Unova, perhaps N never left and with that the Player stayed and made a difference. Imagine if we were to fight the version of ourselves who never returned in the original BW and we discover they became Fallers all along? I would ofc brand this alter-protags as Ebony and Ivory. New forms for Reshiram & Zekrom should have the Abilities of Koraidon & Miraidon: Orichalcum Pulse & Hadron Engine. The Original Dragon came from a Meteor 3000 years ago and split 500 years later, so it's possible that in this timeline another one comes from space. We don't need to reunite Kyurem into this Pokémon, but yes see said species in an Enamorus like way like in PLA. It would be cool if they fell in the middle of the region since the Entralink isn't really explored or accessible perse. This one would be Dragon/Water because of the Genesect Drives and the Abyssal Ruins.
Even if it's an exact replica with the same graphics and sound, i think it will still be good since it will bring some of the best games in the franchise to a new audience.
For Gen 5 I want Black & White 3 and it really needs to happen in one way or another. I don't think we need Black & White remakes. But if the Pokémon company is going to remake Black & White, they don't have to remake Black & White without adding some features like Pokestar Studios and Pokémon World Tournament from Black & White 2. If we'll get Gen 2 & Gen 5 remakes this year, then why not just fuse them into a brand new game called Black Gold & Silver White which will be a mix of HeartGold & SoulSilver and Black & White 1 & 2? In both games you would choose either Ethan, Lyra and Kris or Hilbert, Hilda, Nate and Rosa. In Black Gold, you would start your journey by choosing your starter in Unova and then you go to Johto in the second part of the game where you can also catch some of Johto starters and in Silver White, you would start your journey by choosing your starter in Johto and then you go to Unova in the second part of the game where you can also catch some of Unova starters. That sounds like a great idea. As for a Legends game, I'm expecting a Gen 2 Legends game called Pokémon Legends:Celebi, but I don't want Gen 2 remakes to be another Let's Go games.
Bro, I will always have fond memories of playing Pokemon black and white on my Nintendo DS like those were good times also are you sure there will be a Unova remake because I also heard they were going to make a Pokemon Jhoto remake.
Give the other two a Mega to make up for it. Will say in a Pokedex entry that the stones were created in the dream area by our player character and N. It's not the best idea, but I think it can work.
BW is the best pokemon game EVER! It’s peak 2D and I wished they did the same thing like it for the 3D games
I wonder if there has been PC and emulators that fixed some things with Scarlet and Violet yet? And if they'll do the same with the remakes Game Freak choose the BDSP route?
Oh my gosh! YES!!! The second I saw clips of Octopath Traveler, I was like “This is EXACTLY what kind of art style we need Pokemon to adopt!” I’m so glad to see someone else bringing i up!
But yeah, if we don’t get remakes, I’d love a BW3 in a more traditional style (again, something simply like OT) and then they can be more experimental with something like a Legends Kyurem (or whatever they go for in terms of naming it)
i think the best idea for a gen 5 remake is hd-2d
the games already go for that style and with modern techonology it could look incredible

I'm afraid they might ruin the running with a pokemon animation in the main world like bdsp, I really want to have fun with volcarona, samurot and excadrill running behind me or maybe riding a zebstrika

As much as id love to see a hgss effort style of b1w1 and b2w2 remake, i think the coolest option would be to make black and white 3, focusing far more on kyurem and the original dragon. While also being better than the first two games
I don’t think it’ll be Unova remakes yet because Pokémon seems to have a pattern since I think it’ll be let’s go Johto but I wouldn’t mind Unova remakes just don’t do it like Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Same to me, like the gen 4 remake i personally waited for long this to this game and imagine it will be great more than ORAS ,, but just forget it
I think remakes will at least remain linear, I can't imagine BW being open world. Open World will be mainly for new titles, whereas remakes will stick to the more "classic" Pokemon formula, that's my guess! Though there is the question of BW2 since it is a sequel to the original BW and not an enhanced version, what will they do with that? I mean it's possible they might end up remaking both (with BW first and then at some point BW2 remakes) which would hold off the eventual X and Y remakes... now I'm starting to feel really old.
I doubt we will get any new forms or Pokemon in a pure Gen 5 remake. Best case scenario is a shiny Victini
I know it's never going to happen but I hope they get rid of Dexit for the Gen 5 remakes. Part of the fun from the Remakes is you can see newer pokemon in older regions like Seviper and Furret in Kanto (FRLG) or Gen 4/5/6 in ORAS. They can also battle each other within the same generation like FRLG can battle /trade with RSE and XY and battle/trade with ORAS. BDSP can't even battle/trade with SWSH because of Dexit and even if they can battle/trade with each other, it's only a few of them since SWSM cut half of the dex and BDSP only goes up to Gen 4.
What if they made Black and White 3 instead of a remake?
Modders will have a huge uprising if this goes the same route as in 2021. Especially if they somehow have the technologies Game Freak has to make it work. Another Palworld situation. 😂
Everytime I think about the possibility of Gen 5 remakes the music of Route 10 starts to play in my head, I just know that this is going to be the end of the fun.
I believe that should they make remakes of Black and White (2), not a Legends style game, they could at least introduce some open world elements into these games, such as the desert resort, the moor of Iccirus and the nature reserve. Of course they could still keep all the routes, but I believe it would be cool to modernize them a little, while still keeping the route theme.
Gen 5 is my absolute favorite. So im begging that the inevitable remakes will be good but the quality of Scarlet/Violet makes me very worried for the future of the franchise.

Yeah, I'm really concerned after BDSP. BDSP was awful. Making ot a 1:1 remake was an awful idea. The chibi style was disappointing and there was not enough new content. Plus I didn't like how they didn't really use Platinum. I was really hoping to see the Distortion World in 3D.
no, remakes are meant to be faithful. Also remakes are not suppose to have a lot of new content. If you want new content, play the first games of the generation such as SwSh, SV, etc. Distortion World wasn't needed in BDSP
@@JamieAlexander18 Although I respect your opinion, I personally don't agree with this. I think if you don't want anything to change, you can just as well play the original game itself. Also, I find an "exact copy" of the game (except maybe for more modern graphics) rather boring and too predictable. For me, the extra content adds a nice surprise to the game.
@@polygonc4538 except that BDSP did had some changes. Quality of life improvements, Ramanas Park, Hideaways, Following Pokemon, Customization etc. That is enough new things. Extra content is not mandatory for remakes. If people want new content, play the first games of the generation like SwSh and SV. BDSP is far better than the originals and even Platinum.

I honestly don’t think they’re making it, the indigo disk makes me think they scrapped it and used the already made 3D sets
PSA: If you still own the originals, then just play them. DO NOT BUY A GEN V REMAKE UNLESS IT IS PROVEN TO BE GOOD AFTER LAUNCH. If you buy right away, there is a solid chance of both wasting money and encouraging more products that you do not like.
Like with Sinnoh I wanted remakes for Unova as well, not anymore.
As a real Gen V lover I think they need to redo Gen IV and do it justice, it's just sad :(

You're like this literally because of BDSP alone.
It was just one bad remake, one GAME FREAK had no involvement in - they probably told ILCA to keep it faithful to rush it out for the holidays. We don't know if this is gonna be how remakes will be going forward.
It goes without saying that the ideal Pokémon remake should take notes from the best parts about HGSS and ORAS.
Its not just one Bad Remake but bad games the last few years, Sword/Shield, Legends Arceus and Scarlet/Violet aren't really good games either. Why should a Gen 5 Remake suddendly be good?

Unlike the other aforementioned games, P:LA has some serious passion behind it. And it was the best modern Pokémon game to date for it.

I played Legends Arceus myself and all i can say is Pokémon are almost optional because there are only 20 battles that can be won with a simple brute force strategie, the boss Pokémon you fight through the story are often easyer and faster to beat by not useing your Pokémon, you only need one Pokémon in your team for collecting materials. Catching Pokémon is just up throwing Pokeballs at Pokémon and running to the next. Most Quests are bad, the i want to see the ears of a Shinx Quest as example. The technical Quality of Legends Arceus is embarassing even if it would have been for a Gamecube.
All that Gamefreak did was selling you a Beta Verion of a game for full price.

I hope BW remakes will be faithful since that is what remakes should be. And BW remakes don't need much additions. Just quality of life improvements. BDSP was the best remake in the franchise. I loved it a lot and that is why I want BW remakes should be like it. The remakes will not be open world. It wouldn't be remakes if that happen. They would remake BW but not BW2. Remakes are more for new players. BDSP did had Griseous Orb, Gracidea Flower and Secret Key.

@@clonetrooper2003 yes best remakes. I am not going to apologize for liking what I like. HGSS were the worst remakes and ORAS added/changed too much from the originals. FRLG and BDSP are the only remakes that respected the originals while adding a few new things. That is what remakes should be.
@@JamieAlexander18 I think HGSS are the best remakes, if not the best Pokémon games that exist up to now: Pokemon walking behind your back, the Battle Frontier (one of my favourite features), great compatibility with the Gen IV main games...

Level curve was bad, gym leaders still not showcasing gen 2 pokemon, Kanto being barren, permanent following pokemon that can't be turned off, slow like all gen four games. too many HMs, Mt Silver and Cerulean Cave the only best place to train pokemon against wild, Battle Frontier is a waste of time and resources.
