Time to say my opinion: Musharna: it kinda makes sense. Scolipede: idk about this one. Darmanitan: it would 100% make sense. Maractus: sure. Cofagrigus: its dex entries explicity says that its body is covered in gold. So giving it the steel type will make so much more sense. Garbodor: give it the steel type. Gothorita: you have my vote. Reuniclus: I'm not sure. Alomomola: you have my vote. Eelektross: just no. It's not even based on a reptile. Just give it the water type. Beheeyem: I'm not sure for this one. Beartic: totally agree. But seriously, for those who don't know Dragon was designed to be a late game type with very little offensive value and a lot of common type resistances. Theyre cool to own but not fun to fight agianst. Buuuut since you like adding a lot of dragons that offshoots the poor offense of dragons I guess cause they're tons of dragons everywhere.... also please respect the the starter weakness triangle because if little rival timmy picked Serperior then suddenly little baby players doesnt know why their Emboar is not doing too well against it....
Do you know how many minor issues would arise from alomomola evolving from luvdisc? 1. They're in different egg groups 2. They invest in different stats

I have an argument for Mienshao, it's design is based off Wuxia style martial arts. Wuxia is a very spiritual thing adding Qi (Spirit energy) to martial arts. That not only gives solid argument for the Dragon typing but Also possibly the Fairy or Psychic typing
I can get behind most of his changes but scoliopede could also be bug/dark or poison/dark and this would make more sense than the dragon type to be honest and the mien shao would I make a fighting/psychic type rather than adding the dragon type again. But great video there were some great takes :)
grass/fire wouldn't make sense for Maractus... It basically can't learn any fire type moves, and nothing about its dex entires imply it would be fire type. The only basis is it living in a hot desert which is a very flimsy reason imo.
Awesome video. I would love to see Black and White, Black 2 and White 2 remakes in 2D sprites. Game Freak can even make Black 3 and White 3 or Legends Kyurem. Im looking forward to the next type of videos that you have planned.
I'd say have Muuna and Musharna be Psychic Ghost. I know the Fairy Type can fit because of their Baku inspirations but well... Ghost/Psychic is a really interesting and unique type that we don't see often and it gives Musharna two immunities in exchange for just making weaknesses it already had stronger, which you wouldn't really be staying in against anyway.
Idk about competitive but Serperior (Grass/Fairy) & Samourotte (Water/Steel)makes a double type triangle with the unova starters so that each one is effective against one another in some form. Also Timburr (Fighting/Grass) Guldurr (Fighting/Steel) and Conkeldurr (Fighting/Rock or Ground) based off of their unique weapons felt obvious.
Electric dragon for eelektross no water-electric because it's a fish and fish swim in water and it still have levitate still immune to ground only weakness is grass
Elektros would be better if it had a way to raise its SpD. It has coil to run physical and have better accuracy but its special def will remain normal unless you block coil with assault vest just to fix that

Believe it or not, Im the best person to ask when it comes to the best type changes viability vise. Im not joking about this, I literally have a doc made by searching far & wide across the internet that lists huge no.of mons that can receive logical to little questionable changes & you'd surprised by it (& Im safe to say that yeah you're certainly the 1st to say Garbodor is capable of having Dragon. Crazy suggestion & cool like Arbok, but Im sorry Steel would be so much better for its defensive prowess. Being hard as Steel as u know, makes it resist million things). Just to lay out some examples: Druddigon & Blitzle line: Fight, Zorua line: Fairy You just said Maractus' dope. Ppl like it, but would be hard-pressed to find some1 that calls it their absolute favourite. Im not keen on Psy/Dark types while they may only have 2 weaknesses which is why very low it has ez to forget 0 (yeah that's 0) resistances. In exchange for weakness to Ghost, it loses its only 2 resistances. There're bunch of psychics that ppl advocate for to gain Dark (Grumpig, Mewtwo) & it's not the worst, but they're at disadvantageous state. 6:11 even w 0 weakness, Eelektross isnt some God at the battlefield Beheeyem's argument isnt bad, tho being electric's better. I care way more about battling, that's the most vital part about mechanics.
Is this low key a troll video? 😂 I do agree that gothitelle should be psychic/dark and that cofagrigus should be ghost/rock though. It would make them way more interesting and thematically it makes a lot of sense, as goth types vibe with dark type well and Egyptians typically crested the coffin of pharaohs with gemstones like lapis.

Fraligater should be dark Keep sepirior the same Cinderace definitely should be electric and you shouldve kept that going. You slander my boy inteleon and didn’t give it dark but its fine since ghost is good to. Oh and rilliboom should be ground but again fighting is good

Second: I *LOVE* these "controversial" retypes - the Psychic/Dark one was exactly what I had in mind for Gothitelle, and it'd help set it apart from Gardevoir even more. Admittedly the only one I *sorta* have a "problem" with is Meinshao - but to play Giratina's advocate here; those whiskers do give off Eastern Dragon vibes. Give it a few Dragon-type moves and it could very well give Lucario a run for its money. Man...imagine it learning Dragon Dance. Marshall could be a decent candidate as the next Whitney.

dont really understand the premise of making alomomola a fairy type and/or making it a luvdisc evo, the garbador type change is iffy as well, I feel like it would've been a lot better to embrace Garbadors design, troll the community a bit, and make it part fairy. I mean we see how kind both it and its pre-evo is in the anime and it just sorta absorbs garbage for people. I think normal could've been good too.
Everything you added the dragon type to is a nah from me. Everything else was a good take except I’d maybe switch Accelgor to Bug/Dark personally and Beeheehym does not make sense to be rock type.
U said darmanitan and beartic should be fighting because they learn super power. How ever, super power is actually called like something having to do with beast. So beast looking pokemon learn it like flareon.

Believe it or not, Im the best person to ask when it comes to the best type changes viability vise. Im not joking about this, I literally have a doc made by searching far & wide across the internet that lists huge no.of mons that can receive logical to little questionable changes & you'd surprised by it (& Im safe to say that yeah you're certainly the 1st to say Garbodor is capable of having Dragon. Crazy suggestion & cool like Arbok, but Im sorry Steel would be so much better for its defensive prowess. Being hard as Steel as u know, makes it resist million things). Just to lay out some examples: Druddigon & Blitzle line: Fight, Zorua line: Fairy

Im not keen on Psy/Dark types while they may only have 2 weaknesses which is why very low it has ez to forget 0 (yeah that's 0) resistances. In exchange for weakness to Ghost, it loses its only 2 resistances. There're bunch of psychics that ppl advocate for to gain Dark (Grumpig, Mewtwo) & it's not the worst, but they're at disadvantageous state.

Is this low key a troll video? 😂 I do agree that gothitelle should be psychic/dark and that cofagrigus should be ghost/rock though. It would make them way more interesting and thematically it makes a lot of sense, as goth types vibe with dark type well and Egyptians typically crested the coffin of pharaohs with gemstones like lapis.

Second: I *LOVE* these "controversial" retypes - the Psychic/Dark one was exactly what I had in mind for Gothitelle, and it'd help set it apart from Gardevoir even more. Admittedly the only one I *sorta* have a "problem" with is Meinshao - but to play Giratina's advocate here; those whiskers do give off Eastern Dragon vibes. Give it a few Dragon-type moves and it could very well give Lucario a run for its money. Man...imagine it learning Dragon Dance. Marshall could be a decent candidate as the next Whitney.

Elektros should be part water, Meinsho Flying, Beehiem steel or normal, Garbodor ground or ghost.

As someone who strongly dislikes Eelektross, I like the typing because of the possible nerf
dont really understand the premise of making alomomola a fairy type and/or making it a luvdisc evo, the garbador type change is iffy as well, I feel like it would've been a lot better to embrace Garbadors design, troll the community a bit, and make it part fairy. I mean we see how kind both it and its pre-evo is in the anime and it just sorta absorbs garbage for people. I think normal could've been good too.

Everything you added the dragon type to is a nah from me. Everything else was a good take except I’d maybe switch Accelgor to Bug/Dark personally and Beeheehym does not make sense to be rock type.
