Jesus, it’s like Dead Can Dance backed by a full orchestra. Amazing! Edit: 3 days after hearing this, I’ve listened to it about 10 times. Certain parts totally give me the chills- like seeing the shadow of the battle barge crossing the pyramid, when the drop pods start, well, dropping, seeing the smoke and ruins of the once-beautiful city, the orbital strikes- it’s just so emotional and evocative, with the music completely in sync with the visuals. I can’t say enough good things about this video.
@@LegioSymphonica I will lay my life at the altar of spreading the word of this glorious hymn to Tizca. *Starts sacrificing squad members to open warp communication and share...*
I'm guessing at 4:51 in the left is the Pyrae Pyramid temple, and the explosion was when Khalophis attempted to hold back the aetheric explosion while connected to the Canis Vertex titan after it was hit by the massive warp explosion from Phael Toron's body at the far side of the Corvidae Temple when he had unleashed and lost complete control of his powers to the warp?

As a fan who recently discovered their love of 40k and the story of Magnus the Red. I have to say this is a phenomenal soundtrack and video! The amount of care and detail you put into your work shows your love of the franchise.
With the release of the age of darkness box set for horus heresy coming out this month i couldn't decide what traitor legion i wanted to play, ive always liked the thousand sons and i also liked the alpha legion. But then i saw this, and now im committed to starting a 30k thousand sons army
holy shit this is story telling! never seen such dedication with combined lore, music and video in a music video or at least not in those regards that it moved me!
Not all who once counted themselves amongst the number of The Thousand Sons wear the crimson annymore. I am a anomaly, a relic of a forgotten time. Released from a malfunctioning stasis warhead that served as my tomb just as your Primarch was once enshrined in the Fortress of Hera. I have lived trough the sting of betrayal, the fire of unjust rebellion and have felt the dispair of a fathers fall. I have endured and so much more. But my strength remains and my mind stands unclouded. Know this brother Tigurius, I shall never don the black of shame or the blue and gold of treachery. In my heart, the red cyclops will allways be my father, but I will draw wisdom from his failures and persue that which I was raised and made for, becouse my loyalty belongs to the Emperor of Mankind, beloved by all. Now I must leave you, for I am no Astartes as you or your brethren are, I am a Legionary. I was made to bring enlightenment to the dark, not to defend the shining towers where this wisdom has allready been brought. Look for my legions banner on battlefields in the future, and know that the last of The Thousand Sons walked there, in honour of those who never fell, for Tizca, for the Emperor of Man, For my home, my world, for Prospero!

I think I hear the full story of the Thousand Sons. Great!
Breathtaking! The musical narrative was definitely the way to go! Great job on the song, and big applause to the artists who helped you make the visuals 👏
They did an awesome job ! Thank you for your kind word and your support ;) Stay tune for there is more to come soon !
Thanks a lot!
This is amazing, both in terms of music and visualization. Can't understand why it's not up-voted by thousands of people, seriously.
Thank you brother! I really appreciate. Well you can help it with the classical prayer to the UA-cam machine spirit: like, share and subscribe ^^
@@LegioSymphonica I will lay my life at the altar of spreading the word of this glorious hymn to Tizca. *Starts sacrificing squad members to open warp communication and share...*
absolutely insane level of detail on the visuals in this. I was entranced. oh, and the song slaps too. AMAZING work!
Thank you brother !
Indeed ;)
This is what warhammer two cut scenes would look like if they were actually trying.
You've had me listening to this on repeat for two days now. And my brain doesn't let me use it as a background, I have to watch it in full! Great work!
This is a beautiful depiction of the 40k equivalent to the burning of alexandria
Or the destruction of Baghdad.
I love the song starting off like an Arabian Nights theme then going full epic choral.
As a fan who recently discovered their love of 40k and the story of Magnus the Red. I have to say this is a phenomenal soundtrack and video!
The amount of care and detail you put into your work shows your love of the franchise.
Truly, what a time to be alive! The storytelling you convey through music and images is magnificent!
Thank you brother ! And thanks for the support aswell ;)
The animation is on freaking point-
With the release of the age of darkness box set for horus heresy coming out this month i couldn't decide what traitor legion i wanted to play, ive always liked the thousand sons and i also liked the alpha legion. But then i saw this, and now im committed to starting a 30k thousand sons army
Nice to hear that, the Thousand Sons deserves more love
It's heavy. I really like this piece!
More heavy stuff to come soon ^^
holy shit this is story telling! never seen such dedication with combined lore, music and video in a music video or at least not in those regards that it moved me!
I'm glad you like it ;) I put a lot of time, effort and money in these video and to read such comments is always the best reward I could ask for it ^^
Not all who once counted themselves amongst the number of The Thousand Sons wear the crimson annymore.
From which book does this come from ? This is awesome !
@@LegioSymphonica Just a short I wrote when listening to this. Your music inspired me, so keep it up, I might write more in the future.
Wow. I wasn't expecting a primarch battle on that scale, Noice!
Astounding visuals, Great Music. I love it, what can I say more than this? It's the Emperor's Gift to us, mortals.
Lol I could say the same about your comment brother. Thank you very much I'm happy that you like it ^^
Wow! I got a ton of comments telling me to come check out your channel and I'm very impressed. This is easily among the highest quality music in the Warhammer community. Subscribed and favorited. I look forward to your future work brother!
Brother this is an honnor ! Welcome and thank you for your comment ! I watched the Last Church twice and damn it was awesome ! I'd love to further talk about it with you if you got the time !
@@LegioSymphonica of course, it would be my pleasure, thank you for the kind compliment. I've watched through most of your channel and must say I'm excited to speak with you about your work as well, if that would be alright
Ive listened to this a couple of times. Its great.
As a fan of the Horus heresy and the battle of prospero in particular, it really takes you on a journey.
Amazing 👌
Absolutely beautiful and heart breaking.😢💔
This is easily one of the best pieces of art I have ever seen & heard on the entirety of the internet, not just UA-cam. Thank you so, so much!
Thank you for your kind words, that means a lot! Trust me it's just the beginning!
That was really well done and I enjoyed it a lot. Getting back into w40k after a long hiatus. I wish we'd had such inspiring content back in the day! Really. Enjoyed that a lot.
i know right? I was into 40K back when it first came out in the 80s-90's. Back then, the lore wasn't nearly as fleshed out as it was now. Though I have no means to actually play, I'm finding all the wonderful fiction that has come out for the setting. I'll always love the grim dark...and the sinister beauty that lies beneath if one dares to look for it. Yet, every once in a while, even this Immortal Black Rose must step into the light. Thank you for this gorgeous video. Magnus and his boys would have been proud with the tribute
The amount of time I’ve replayed this tune. Always listen to it before a game with my Rubrics.
All is dust!
Why have I never seen your channel before???? I LOVE THIS CONTENT!!!!! BEAUTIFUL MUSIC AND VISUALS
Ahah that's the mystery of the machine's spirit ^^ I'm glad you like the content !
Holy shit this is like something else on another level. Truly amazing and a great attention to detail. Loved the point there where The Emperor in the video meets His son.
i sincerely hope there's more music videos like this in the future, i can't get enough of this!!!
Great work! I’ll be adding this to my list of songs to make play while I paint up my Thousand Sons army
Yup, you just sold me on making a Thousand Sons heresy army! Absolutely beautiful work, and the story told by the visuals next to the music just makes it perfection. Oh how I long to read A Thousand Sons for the first time again...
Thank you Lunar Voidus! these videos take a lot of time to make so I'm happy to see that people like them ^^
I loved the music and the visuals, so great :D
One moment that made me shiver was 4:19, with the music becoming more brutal, in the same time as the drop pods from the Space Wolves descending from the sky, representing well the reckless assault they would unleash on Prospero :O
Holy shit dude! I can’t stop listening to this, everything in it is just so awesome!!! It’s a crime you don’t have more subs and views!
Thank you very much! Well you can help the project by sharing it as much as you can ^^
All he wanted was a vinyard...
2:30 The -Anathema- Emperor comes! The sun rises!
playing this while painting my Ammitara and Scarab occult for HH 2.0, feels epic!
Wow! What an experience! Awesome video! I love stories that are told through music, and this one is solid gold!
Three likes is all u get?
very nice illustration of the story of prospero, really sad story 😥
I would say this is easily the best piece uploaded to yout channel, personally, I am not really blown away by the others, but this one is a real blast.
I hope to one day see something inspired by either Unification wars, Thunder Warriors or Mount Ararat.
I hope that the Black Library do aswell ^^
@@LegioSymphonica we can dream together until that day, brother.
I really want to know what has been of Taranis and Gotha.
The only thing Magnus did wrong was not wiping out the space wolves and making the galaxy a better place.
Magnificent - both music and animation.
Just perfect.
Thank you Reclusiarch
You did the Prosperine Spireguard proud with this.
Those last few minutes were beautiful. I have to compliment you on that "wailing" sound. I don't know if it was a woman singing, the sound of an instrument, or a wolf's howl, but it was amazing.
10/10 work, my friend.
In an undying corpse, the only hope for life is to begin anew, to seek apotheosis through the fires wrought about by our own dismantlement, to rid oneself of its parasites and restraints; to coalesce into a new form using the seeds and information gathered from before, not lost but unusable in the corpse imperiums current state
For humanity to survive, it MUST die in order for it to realize its potential
Both in and of itself and also as a literal and metaphorical phoenix, an analogy and metaphor as old as time itself: the heroes journey, the cycle(ing) of patterns, vortex math, the cyrality of the universe, the spin of the clock, the beating of hearts, the waving of oceans; feelings and thoughts, lives and deaths like sand through the sieve of a hand
Ages come and go in the twinkling of the eye that sees the hand, and so, the masses that do not, and so, are the sand, sleep; prey to the demons in the dark, light dimmed enough so as not to burn but warm a meal
Youre strength lies not in how you live, but how it is that your death shapes your life youve been given and afforded
And so, do not go quietly into that awful good night, for even if all is well upon your arrival, you will have little to show for it where there is nothing to proud or shameful of
Your existence will simply be void, null, bereft of any meaning even a god could gleam, as, a god itself can lead no such lives of meaning as we might imagine it to attempt to do so if it so could as we do. And so through, by, for and of them, we are, but are our own selves
Therefore it is such that though a god itself is meaningless as we might consider, meaning and lives and world magnetize to them, orbiting like great interlocking, weaving rings or wheels within wheels, mirror/reflective worlds within worlds, like dew drops showing all the rain drops in a morning storm
Through their beingness is meaning, cycles, are sustained, perpetuating a kingdom of organisms/permutations with no end, for the territory is not drawn upon realspace but upon the fabric of the universe that is beingness/life/energy itself, a non local, central, zero-point/holographic free access port to the All
And so if you are to do anything, if you are to ever act in the interest and benefit of all you can conceive of and more, that everything would KILL for you to do, it is to RAGE into the dark
For when your final embers are exhausted and your flames long gone, only then when the darkness seems to flood into you once your light has dissipated, can you REignite, like a collapsing neutron star, its explosion and birth of new life therein preceeded by a near imperceptible, agonizing experience of implosion and spaghettification
For every action, there are equal and opposite ones, so, unite your action with the universe and the reciprocal property shall be exponentiated to the degree you can capacitate or transcieve that energy, however it may come about
When birds fly, they plummet repeatedly to their deaths, and so are held aloft by not just sheer momentum, lest theyd simply fall, but also by humility of knowing just how delicately they are in full control of their entire motion through 3d space
Taking themselves lightly enough to risk flying like a kid stealing car keys, hearts pounding like it might be their last day to do so
Burn like the sun to remove the wax and reveal false wings, but only if you intend to light the way to lift up those that wish to do the same, not simply to follow or to emulate or idealize
This is so good. More Horus Heresy videos please.
Seeing it’s rise was heartwarming and wholesome. Seeing its falls was heartbreaking and corrupt.
By the throne 8-O ... Great!
I loved this, always returning.
I hope you can make another storytelling piece like this sometime!
Right on. Cool stuff.
The wait was long, but it was definitely worth it, a fantastic storytelling piece
Yes this one took me queite some time, the next ones will come faster now.
I would like to say that. You sir, are Hans Zimmer of Warhammer 40k. The level of details and composition are immaculate, IMMACULATE!
THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!
This video just made me decide for my next army. Gotta be space wolves!
(Just kidding, i have tons of conversion ideas for a super egyptian TS army, when i paint all my orks im going for Magnus and his dudes)
Could you make one about the Imperial Navy?
The next ambient composition will be on Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2, but other than that I have no plan on doing something on Imperial Navy in a near future, but that could be a great idea !
Excellent work done. I involuntarily felt sorry for Magnus
I wish my old comment hadn't been deleted, I can't remember exactly what it was that I had said here upon witnessing this when it first came out. But I do remember being struck with how this is art, on the same level of culture that elevates a thing beyond mere entertainment.
Hopefully this comment lasts longer than the others did.
A Primarch has fallen into the knee of Leman Russ at Tizca Magna.
HEY!
Момент орбитальной бомбардировки завораживает...
СПАСИБО ;)
Absolutely brilliant stuff once again! Would make McNeill and Abnett proud
I hope one day they will listen to it. Now that you speak of it, I should send an email to them, that could be a good idea ^^
@@LegioSymphonica I’m sure they would appreciate seeing this glorious work. I know I would if I were in their position☺️
And then down came the wolves...
I am just literally discovering this universe and its fucking awesome, I want to know a lot more from 40K, where should do I begin?
You have some very good UA-cam channel about the W40K universe out there like Luetin, OneMindSyndicate, etc ... I'm sure you can find your hapiness within them ^^ and if you want more you can read the books from the Black Library, I'd advise you to begin with series like the Gaunt Ghosts, Eisenhorn or the five first books of the Horus Heresy ;)
@@LegioSymphonica its been a month and I have consumed DAILY heavy doses of Warhammer, I am reading the Horus Heresy books, watching Luetin, Majorkill and others, while listening to your music or playing Gothic Armada, Dawn of War and Space Marine, damn this is like heroin, thank you so much for making this video, the music is awesome, my favorite song and the visuals are stunning, I understand a little bit more of Lore right now and I can enjoy this video much more!
Это просто ахуенно друзья👏👏👏 но и в тот же момент очень грустно😰
We never betrayed the Imperium, the Imperium betrayed us. All is Dust!
All is dust!
**агрессивный звук нипридавания**
Wow... That's cool. The whole story is told in 7 minutes of pictures and music. Great job. Beautiful art, beautiful music... But such a sad story... "You are the sword in the wrong hands, brother. You cut an innocent throat, and it will torment you forever"...
I agree this is one of the saddest story in the HH. Thank you for the support brother, I'm happy that fans of the THousands Son like this composition ;)
@@LegioSymphonica I think something similar can be done about Caliban. I'm sure Dark Angels fans will appreciate it.
@@SorcererOfXVLegion I'm working on the new project of @Gabriel Christtiane which have Dark Angels in it. I have already begun to work on a theme for them ^^
i wish youd make more videos like this, this is beautiful
For Magnus and the enlightenment of Mankind!!!
All is dust !
So beautiful :OO
Holiest Drop since Prospero. Hottest Bass since Salamanders.
I recommend, strongly recommend in fact, to reas the Ahriman novels by John French. They are excellent books.
I already have the trilogy and I'm really looking forward to read them, though I still need to finish the HH first (only two books left before the siege)
@@LegioSymphonica I think you'll enjoy them. I certainly did. Before I'd ever read them I didn't really know much about the Thousand Sons, but they quickly became one of my favourite Legions. Ahriman himself is my favourite character of 40k itself.
great animation, great music
Once again brilliant music and I love the visual animation too. As a n advocate of the Night Lords, I do however have a Tzeentchian Sorcerer leading my warband and this music feels entirely appropriate to the Thousand Sons. Well done!
