Beardy, the reason your log stripping thingie with the axes isnt working is because it was going in the wrong direction, i think that happened when u moved your airship
If that's not it, it's because of the copycat panel behind it. It interferes with create tools working properly.

You booth wrong. Annoyingly some version of create slice and dice mod's not allow use other tool, such as axe, shovel and pickaxe. Only knife is working. Because tag are missing so it not allow to use slice with other tool.
I'm not sure, it just bug about missing some file
Or slice by axe is little feel strange so just block it.

I can tell you though, they are both right.
the tooltip did say it was spinning the wrong direction, you cant cut something with the back of an axe after all.
and yes, copycat panels can cause issues

I was annoingly abot it can not use shovel. axe is working.
By the way, middle of copycat is not problem.
create's some 'place-avobe-one-block-up-machine' - press, deployer, mixer- are don't care of 'between of machine and target is fill or empty.
And slicer is too.
So can place block for decorate or other purpose like stop item drop on belt kind.

The orange lights give it that kind of dingy/unkempt look, which I like. But of course, overall, the choice is yours.
Use the yellow light on the tunnels and occasionally add a blue light making it look like over the years the bulbs have gotten replaced.

I'd say you should use the orange lamps in the tunnel because they look more fitting to the 50s.
A farmers supply store could be a cool alternative for a storage area/export depot for trucks and such.
For the tunnel lights, use a mix of both. The sea lanterns could be recently installed lights, where as the orange ones would be older ones that are aging and about to die.

You should name the new district "Hobbiton" as the whole rural farming aesthetic is kinda just Hobbiton.
I love the idea of having another player in this series, it will expand the world 10 fold. While also adding some flavour! 🎉
You could always put the sea lanterns near the entrance/exit of the tunnels. And the orange lights near the middle. I've been through a few tunnels where they do that irl

I think having a windmill that powers an actual mill would be cool in this area, maybe as part of a bread factory.

Beardy, when you make the planes 5 blocks wide so there can be 2 seats in and most of the planes should be passenger planes, because most airfreight is carried on airliners. Thank you and good luck.

It may be a little too early to think about, but I think a big central city could fit quite nicely (considering by this time you only built small towns), it would absorb all the other towns productions and be a big noisy place. It could be a good ending-project as well
The tunnel lights could just be a 50/50 Orange/Sea Lantern gig. Like, the top can be orange and the bottom can be sea lantern

you can avoid having a big powerplant by using a little river or canals around the town. you can put water wheels to a few houses and it would look natural.

Idea: To solve the lava storage problem, what about the lava train stopping to top off a tank at Nowhere, then a tanker truck drives to the farm area to fill a storage tank that supplies the power station? It could also serve to add a bit more useful *road traffic* to the scene.
Oh... he just did a lava pit. Guess that also works.
One thing I feel needs to be pointed out, infinite lava doesn't require 10k source blocks of liquid, but 10k blocks general. Flowing works. You can achieve infinite with only one bucket if you build a pyramid underneath to spread the lava then remove the pyramid to let it flow all over and form your 10k blocks
it would be cool if most of the create youtubers like foxy, dejojo, batsy and others joined beardies world and did what stam is doing. they can travel to each other places and the world would feel alive

There's this on block in the framed blocks mod called the framed grid (or something like that) that has a model real similar to chorus stalks, and I was thinking you could use that with the sea lantern lights to make those really depressing halogen tube lights that are found in every office building ever for the tunnel to the farm.

Orange lights at the start of the tunnels (saying HEY SLOW DOWN) and White or ocean blue (saying you can see and speed up but be careful)
A field that’s been baled would look good by a fully grown wheat field and make the area look more lived in. I’m thinking probably paths on the ground for that yellow color unless there’s a chipped grass block that looks better, and then big rectangles of hay blocks dispersed throughout the area

For the tunnel lights, often you can see different bulbs used by different agencies. Maybe as you get closer to the town, the "bulbs" change from the more modern blue light to the older sodium-style lamp, and they're a cheaper/older tech.
16:10 It really takes a bit of finagling to get hand-built trees to look organic in Minecraft. Which is funny, because by definition, any tree *is*.

I really wish that elevation wasn't so annoying in minecraft. Rolling hills a slight elevation changes make farmland realistic for sure.

If you don't know what to do with power I recommend maybe doing a giant windmill farm like up on the hills.
Orange feels more common in older tunnels than white.

Not going to lie, I was hoping that wind and water would have been the go-to for powering the farming area. Inefficient, sure, but definitely on theme for the zone and can gice some nice flavor to the buildings.

I'll be adding things like that, but mostly for aesthetics as a full size windmill will only power 4 full-speed crushing wheels - no good!

awesome stuff, loving your series! Have you heard of solarpunk? since you build alot in the steampunk style, i thought solarpunk would be a perfect fit for a farm area.

It is a farm, you could have used a few chickens (quite a few) to get eggs to fuel the blaze burners instead of a lava pit.
THe amount of chickens required would cause too much lag

I have to check back with him to see how his Contracts with "The U.K. Space Agency" have gone. Has he Managed to successfully Give the Kerbals of Kerbal Space Program 2 Jets like the Eurofighter Typhoon or has he inadvertently Made Star Wars a Reality to the Point where MartinCitopants' own Shenanigans look normal?
Anyway, For the Tunnels, the Sea Lanterns and the Shroomlights both look great but they also look a bit too Modern. If you want a More Countryside Appearance, Maybe try some Glowstone Lights for the Tunnels.
I wonder what Stan's doing on the Server though? If he's up to trouble, then you might want to add Create: Armory to the Mod Pack and Make yourself an M1921 Thompson Submachine Gun as well as Some Leather Armor Dyed to look like British Royal Marine Commandos from The Second World War as Listed below.....

With that out of the way, now comes the Question of Transport. You could simply add Talhanation's Small Ships Mod and Craft a Cog or a Brig using Warped Wood from the Nether or you could keep with the World War Two Period Look and add the Create: Interactive, Create: Big Cannons, Valkyrien Skies: Eureka and Valkyrien Skies: Clockwork Mods and Build Either a British Landing Craft Assault (LCA), 73 Foot Vospers Motor Torpedo Boat (MTB), Fairmile D Motor Torpedo Boat/Motor Gun Boat (MTB/MGB), American Landing Craft Vehicle, Personnel (LCVP, known as R-Boats in British Service), Landing Craft Infantry (Large) (LCI(L)) or Lend-Leased 70 Foot Vospers Motor Torpedo Boats. SubmarineMC should be able to give some Help with the Basic Design and Various Technicalities for these to work.

you should add create new age for electricity, you would only have to have power in one large station in the middle of your world.
For the lights in the tunnel, in each ends white and middle orange, like in real, where the extremities are brighter for the eyes to adapt?!

i dont remmb if you have that addon that lets you make seed oil and then other stuff from it, but even if you dont you could always just compost the seeds for smaller indoors bonemealed farms (gives you more things to build here)

If you do not want an infininent lava sourse then you can make an airport and also make one at the area that already have a lava sourse make a cargo plane that can be loaded with lava and use a truck to get it to the farm house
