- Having returned from another research trip to germany to visit Phantasialand, I'm BURSTING with ideas for this themepark and crack straight on to build my first FLYING ROLLER COASTER in Minecraft Create Mod! Utilising monorail, a lot of time and that roller coaster tycoon feeling of not being able to connect a roller coaster track in a loop, we succeed! Kinda

personally I think he can just fix the ceiling to prevent bats from spawning, but as for the other mobs, I think It is cool to have them enjoying the ride. Lets be honest, it is not a server world, so who else will enjoy the coaster?
Quick suggestion for the section of track at 16:48. You should add a sound effect for the coaster zooming by with screams from the passengers on board. Could set up a train observer block with Redstone links to trigger the sound effect as it goes by sections where folks walking around the park would hear the coaster loudly.
Is it possible to add those soundeffect blocks to the coaster itself?

I thought "Great idea" let the mobs be the riders of the attractions might help keep as many spawning in the area.
you should try to add stuff like benches and trash cans scattered around the park for use and decoration!

The smokescreened hole on the rollercoaster was a really good idea, but I think you should have some smoke at the end of the tunnel too.

you need to make those bits on some theme park rides where they slow down and have a little scene play (think Disneyland) and it could be reenactments of your previous worlds. Maybe a scene of you crashing the car on that one episode with foxynotail
You also need to have biplanes or something flying around the theme park with mini pixel art banners with cameos of the previous series. Something like an ad that says "Go to dairy vale" or sth
Not on a fast rollercoaster, but I will be having some dark rides yes :)
I'd put in some type of split track that goes at the end of the Coaster into a Maintenance Station with a 2nd train, some coaster/train parts and a straw statue or 2.
Also maybe a station towards the end so the driver can simulate slowing down as if they're going into the final breaks on the ride, rather than going full speed the whole time
Already has the station before end so it pulls in slowly, love the maintenance track idea!
A fun idea for later making a zeppelin that travels all around above the park as a fun ride maybe a little restraunt in it

😂pigs can really fly. Oh In Idea you could add some mini games or some sort of interaction for the visitors that is related to the theme of the area/roller coaster. Even hidden items throughout the park for people to find
Hey beardy, super cool ride! Though, I think it could use some more ride-specific theming, rather than just the general steam-punk aesthetic of the whole park. Since you called it aeronautica, maybe put a couple hot air balloons up by the top, or some little aquarium things in the underground section. Otherwise, I think the whole area is pretty cool! And I love the piggy airship :)

i think it might be cool to have viewers submit logo and name ideas for rides n shops in the future, kinda like how folks would suggest names for trains n stuff last season! it'd keep you from having to nab existing ones off google or use plagiarism machines, and it would make the theme park a little more personalized to the series n keep it from feeling generic
I 100% agree! I always prefer if the youtuber involves their fans instead of going to ai or as you put it plagiarism machines. It just adds a bit more ef involvement with fans and helps shows the appreciation from both sides!
Should add in merchandise shop for each coaster, like at wonderland the behemoth has a picture stand to get a photo from riding , t-shirts and other merchandise. Might be cool to see people wearing the shirts around the park

As someone else who has gone to Phantasialand. It is 100% worth visiting. I went in 2018 before Rookburgh was even a thing but I could still see the rollercoaster called F.L.Y being built.
And I have never been so blown away by the immersion, creativity, and sheer thrills 1 park held in store for me. I am a thrill seeker, love my themeparks and although I was only there for a single day, I rank it No.1
I truly felt like I was in the worlds that park's themed areas were portraying. Taron, Black Mamba and Winja's are some amazing rides.
I plan to return and ride F.L.Y as I havent yet

just a thought regarding the airship dock and the impressive, yet kinda awkwardly positioned mini airship. Maybe there could be a platform being lowered via rope/chain from a large airship floating above. The platform itself having crates and piles of ore, or coal. Maybe the airship itself also being filled with cargo.
The chains on the coaster hurt my brain. Think about the center of gravity on those cars, they would flip upside down if those were actually chains, I think copycat shafts with industrial iron would work much better.
Also, I strongly recommend adding create unlimited, it has a setting to let you put in weird tracks, removing limits like the no sloped s bends, and you can do some really crazy stuff for much better coasters.

@@MrBeardstone I mean, sure, but unless you're specifically going for magical floaty things, builds look better when they look like they would actually work. By that logic, there's no point in putting any supports on the coaster track, because it won't collapse without them.

Technically the term "aeronautica" means all the various types of sciences that referr to anything reguarding something that flies, so airplanes, helicopters, airbaloons ecc. When you were starting on main street, my first thought was "it feels a bit like Phantasialand" and now with the first ride in place, it really feels like a proper homage to the park. Seems you absolutely enjoyed your stay there
fun fact, if you have quark installed, you can use a item called the trowel to randomly place blocks within your hotbar to help with detailing
Maybe in your survival world, you could make a DB 10, DB 80, or both. If you want to make a British train, UA-camr MadenPlay can show you a tutorial
As a German who spend a lot of time at Phantasialand as Child. Its just really cool to see u take insperation from my fav. Rollercoaster Park.
You should try to add story to your rides so for example the riders are going down to the mines to gather resources to make brass
Also you should theme different sections of the park, so one is like water-y with water rides, etc. & maybe have specific areas for the different sections referencing your last world
Hello Mr. Breadstone, you should really think about adding adding like create new age. Because you can get nuclear power or just electric power or both, and you can transport electric power with not too much not like transporting rotation from shafts and gear boxes

The Immersion at Fantasialand is absolutely awesome. The steampunk zone is by far the best one!! I only was there for a day and I rode FLY! (the rollercoaster in this section) five times. Like, after the first time, we (my dad and my brother and sister) rode it, we didn't really talk about it and just went to drive it again
How about one of the holes the ride enters has water at the bottom for patrons to dip their toes in, maybe even connect it to your sewer line? Absolutely amazing ride as it is though, I just smile watching how creative you are.
I know your main inspiration was Phantasialand, but honestly, the industrial/steampunk-y theming and the way it goes underground into a thick layer of smoke/steam also really reminds me of the Baron 1898 in Efteling!
You can ajust the speed of the rollercoaster with stations to make more "realistic", an example: theres an station A in the start of the rollercoaster, the speed is 40%(this make the effect of the rollercoaster going up in the tracks) than the train arrived in station B(in the top of the rollercoaster) than you ajust the speed to like 100%, than the rollercoaster apear more "realistic". Sorry if this example is to complicated :)
Add some blimp stations eith real moving blimps to go around the park using trains or minecarts that would be cool
You could add stations to the high and low points of the track and create a schedule that'll go slow on the ups and fast on the downs.
It'd look more realistic as opposed to the entire thing being one constant speed.
The creeper on the roller coaster made me laugh so hard! 😂It made me think it would be funny to have zombies with helmets occasionally riding the various rides. 🤪And/or other mobs that aren't dangerous sitting down, if you can get them. 🤔

Aeronautics is the science of aircraft within the atmosphere
Just an idea for the extra building: you could put a booth to get your photo that was taken on the ride. You could ever have the photo taken from the observervation tower for a bit of extra realism
Fantasia land is one of my favourite theme parks in Germany and as a german i can highly recommend it

As a suggestion you could make a type of fake out door that opens just before the coaster would "crash" for an other added sense of Thrill!
Something that i think would add nice detail would be smoke coming out of drains on the sidewalks, like New york, it could give main street a more smoky feel

Should give the concession stand guy some actual drinks and snacks to sell. Maybe you could use Create Numismatics for the money? Would be a great fit for the park!
I feel we are now reaching the make or break point of the series. And by that I mean it will either be abandoned before completion or drive Beardy insane with the amount of detailing and the Great-Scott-HUGE amount of surface he reserved for the theme park - especially if all of it must have this level of detailing. ^^')
I mean, it may take 30 or 50-something episodes before we reach that point, but holy molly, this amount of work _per ride_ sounds like absolute madness - and I mean that in the best possible way. Maybe taking suggestions for lightening the load will be a necessity at some point? Really don't want to see one of my favourite Minecraft UA-camr go off the deep end of the burnout scale.
So... keep up the great work, I guess? Just... don't burn yourself out, Beardy.
Reminds me of Silver Bullet at Knott's Berry Farm! I'd definitely recommend using speakers to increase the ambience, like the sound of a chain lift at the lift hill!
Great video as always! I am loving the steampunk vibes. I may have a source of inspiration for you as well. I live in the netherlands where we have a themepark called ‘Efteling’.
In that themepark there is a dive coaster called ‘Baron 1898’ its a full on steampunk themed coaster with a very cool backstory. I think you could be very inspired by it!

I think a fitting name for the roller coaster would be Steamin' Demon. It was the name of a hot wheels track train back in 2011. Given that your making a steampunk themed amusement park. Giving your rides steampunk themed names seems like a logical choice
I was just introduced to a Create mod that ive never seen before but looks neat. Petrol's Parts, when seeing some of the cogs and stuff in it, it made me think of your theme park with the random moving parts as decoration. Maybe not something to add mid pack but might be cool to look into at some time, even on your own.

Beardy, it might be cheap, but have you thought about the Megatorch mod? it can prevent mob spawns in an area and you can keep the tunnels dark for riders

Just an idea, you could create a large steampunk style plane/blimp in the history section, or on the observation deck, named 'Aeronautica', and have the rollercoaster be named/themed off this planes mysterious lore.
Here's a thought, mikey's runaway railway style ride. It's possible to have triggers along the ride activating lights, motion, and of course audio.
If you do a water ride, might i suggest using the, although broken down and destroyed, nuka world ride of refreshment as a lil guide line since the theme is more so 80s theme and might tie in on how a steampunky ride can fit. That is of course your not already having an idea of a water boat ride.
You should make a ride and call it the Gearbox

Park backstory idea: this section used to be some kind of industrial town or village before it was turned into a theme park and expanded into the other zones.
add some speakers to all the waiting line cogwheels! and stick a train inside the baloon just so that the pig can have a cap lol
also cool idea, putting a speaker of people screaming on the train. I have no idea if it can be automated to be as louder when the train is going fast and off when the train is still but give it a try

The Pig should be a reoccurring character in the park. A lot of theme parks have mascots and such. Beardy and Friends are shown on main street to be almost like Mickey mouse and his friends. The Pig would kinda be like...the Pluto of the group! Could even name him Steamer! Or something along those lines

the dutch themepark ''de efteling' also has some amazing rides. for inspiration for future rides.
I would love to see villagers all over this town and settle them into this empty houses. That would make town much more alive looking

You should check out "Better Clouds" mod paired up with "3D Sun and Moon" from Vanilla Tweaks, your sky is looking kinda empty. With this combination it should spice up your sky as well as the general ambience of the build
with the building that you couldn't figure out what to do with you could make it a souvenir shop and put the beard plush toy in there

I would highly suggest adding banking to the tracks if you can. Makes the track look a lot more fun and let's you do things like a heart line roll.
Also if much rather you use images stolen from Google images. There are so many reasons not to use AI I'd suggest doing your own research obviously, but the thing I can think of off the top of my head is, ai images harm artists.
