- Today I explored the NEW Minecraft 1.19 Update in my hardcore world, and I set myself the goal of exploring the ancient city in Minecraft Hardcore. It took a very long time before I found an ancient city.

He's probably my favorite hardcorer and it's super cool that he's been keeping it up for years. I like him exploring every new update. Just a cool UA-camr.
You can actually place wool around and on the top of shriekers so they wont hear you. You can deal with multiple shriekers around you and take them one by one down safely.

He literally said that he tested all of this beforehand because he wpscared to go and explore for the first time investment
When the Warden spawns don’t crouch and sneak away because he emerges for 5 seconds which means you have 5 seconds to run for your life then crouch when you’re far enough away.

@@huntercool2232 fr. Many times, it's sad people losing a hardcore world which they've worked on a lot, but most of the time, it doesn't happen to some glitch... It happens because the player becomes cocky and thinks he's indestructible

Pile of wool blocks are related to the lore of this place. You must walk on wool blocks in order to not make a sound, so it make sense that there's a campfire surrounded by soundproof blocks

to find an ancient city you have to go to mountains that are more than 140 blocks high
I did it my first try 😭 the caves grow really weird and have grass blocks leading down
if it's below 140 you'll only find the deep dark biome
props to wadzee for still giving us content. no worries, you can take as many breaks or vacations as you want. everyone has a life out of youtube. love you man.

Dear Wadzee,
Next time you want to find an Ancient City, I would recommend going to a Snowy or Stony Peaks biome as Ancient Cities most commonly spawn there. The mountain also has to be in 1.19 chunks, of course. Every 1 in 2 or 3 mountain peak biomes has the Ancient City, so instead of searching in random caves, I recommend that you try this. This also might be why you found the Ancient City that you did, because there were two Snowy Peaks. I hope this helps in the future!

Tip: In accessibility settings at the bottom you can turn down the dark pulsing slider to help you see better when the warden spawns.

Thanks, warden resets my gamma, and It's not like I'm working on fullbright, I set it to 8 to fit my screen which is dark itself and I see nothing on gamma 1

When you come across multiple shriekers, place wool around them so they won’t activate, and then take them out one by one.

Tip if u ever go and raid an ancient city again: put wool around the shriekers before u break them, then they wont go off and there wont spawn a warden :D

@dixia xie throwing snowballs is a really bad idea, throwing snowballs will make the warden angry and make it more likely to detect you by smell
@@theamazingspy3179 That's why you throw the snowball AWAY from you. The warden can't smell you if you sent it far away lol, the snowball will draw it's agro so you can sneak away and wait for it to despawn (crawl back into the ground)
Snowballs is actually one of the things the devs suggested, and it's a great method to help escape

i legit find deep dark spots everywhere but never the city
You can use chunkbase to find one easily

For future reference, the deep dark biome normally spawns below mountains with a low erosion value, which can be seen in the f3 menu as e:number
Also if you find deep dark biome then you will find the ancient city, it spawns with it 100% of the time but Wadzee didn't realize...

@@cookingwithkimbap4432 on what I know, deep dark places dont always have ancient cities with them.
But ancient cities are very low to the ground, I think the bottom of them are always around -Y 56 . So if you see deep dark biome try to dig very deep (just make sure to not fall)

The ancient city could be home to a nice family... and since you have already ensla-... moved your villagers... You can make a frog kingdom down there, or allays, or both... or idk you make the good vids I just watch melons get planted and enjoy hydration breaks.

I love you wadzee I am an og fan and I remember your vid’s when you didn’t even have a hardcore world. I love how far you have come
These types of video are really fun, but another entertaining type of video would be to start a new world(or more likely just "lose all your items" [place them in a safe chest] in this world), and then spend 100 days from zero trying too see how quickly you can become powerful, building as many "farms" as fast as you can, starting off with simple ones and ending with ones that are more advanced.I think this "idea" could become even more entertaining if at some point early on in the "days", you started to only rely on your farms, limiting yourself to only being able to collect and use resources that you have "farmed. Then you could use the material from these farms(like cobblestone), to advance to more difficult ones until the 100 days are reached and you can completely rely on farms without needing any help whatsoever.

a shrieker gives you three lives, when activated three times spawns a warden in a block radius of a structure
the warden can only spawn we shriekers and sensors generated from the world generation, using silk touch on them makes them useless.

So crazy that it took you so long to find an ancient city. Any time I go in a cave I run into the deep dark. Every single time lmao
Quick tip: To get mangrove propagules simply bone meal the bottom of some mangrove leaves. You can then either wait for them to grow or bonemeal them more to get a propagule

The blue wool indicates that wool is your friend in the ancient city. Also, of your out of wool when your exploring ancient city you can always grab wool from that blue patch.

Of all the Minecraft updates I’d have to say the update with the city and huge caves, that’s the best update ever. Just the level of mass of everything is amazing and crazy new secrets. I freaking love it and WadZee is the best man for the job. This game has come so far since 2012

Me and my sister just follow coordinates from my seed map on chunk base. Been to a few ancient cities now, made a train symtem with portals too, i don't think I can play without coordinates now, saves so much time searching for hours like I used to. 🙂

Hey Wadzee, I think a cool thing you could do with the ancient city is repair it fully by re constructing the things that look worn down and by replacing all the skulk with the blocks that should be there
Best way to raid an Ancient City:
Step 1: *Cover all the shriekers with wool*
Step 2: *Go back and break all the shriekers*
Step 3: *Loot the city*
Step 4: *Be a rich lad*

Little Information here for the Shriekers. If a player places one, If Gamemode or through silk touch, it won't be able to spawn a warden, only those that spawned naturally can.
But If you look up the Video of Shulkercraft, you can actually make a functional Warden Farm and they also explain again why it needs to be a naturally spawned one and not one that you placed yourself.

WadZee, I have an idea for your builds, you should connect your old base to the new base in the over world, and quick suggestion to this, add a bunch of builds around the connector, kind of like memories, and some stuff, your choice.
I honestly love the warden in this new update X') it's such an original mod for minecraft! And I can't believe it took you 6 hours to find one. Maybe with the knowledge you acquired midway through there is one closer to your base? Love how you say "how safe" and you just spawn so many wardens close to you 🤣
The first world I played 1.19 I placed my base on a snowy mountain biome and by exploring the caves down below I didn't find 1 but 2 ancient city by accident 🤣 just under my base I couldn't believe it X')

15:04 diamonds under the sculk vein right under the cursor. Also this is common and you'll probably miss out on about 3 veins of diamonds because of stuff like this.

You can make mud blocks. Just use a water bottle on a dirt block. And if you then put a dripstone under it, it will turn to clay.

after clearing all the spawner i think u should make a like a cool base in there and fix the broken city
The ancient city is crazy, I found one on my realm and I found 5 God Apples in the first 10 minutes of looting. Also, in the deep dark, diamonds are more likely to spawn around the cities because of the open space (diamonds have a higher chance to spawn next to air as of 1.18) so if your early game and you're careful, it's a really good place to get diamonds in the early - early mid game.

So two things I just wanna point out: one, each Copper Goat Horn actually has 2 different pitches they can play.
If you use it while looking upwards, it plays the higher one, and while looking downwards, the lower one.
And two, Mangrove Propagules can actually be placed in and under water, and are the first saplings to be able to do so.
So, make of all that as you will.

Quick tip: if you throw an enderpearl as the warden spawns you can get away very easily.

Btw Wadzee, you should probs turn on dynamic lights so you can have light if you’re holding a torch.
Tips: if you want to find the ancient city, try finding a biome that has a lot of mountains, under the mountains there should be an ancient city, if I'm not mistaken, and also ancient city are pretty deep so have fun mining
