Shenmue brother's...i'm just crying. This game is a huge part of our life and i can't believe the hype and the chills i have right now. It's like watching the Dreamcast again but with better graphics. The feeling is the SAME!.

I'm 28 and I completed Shenmue 2 on the original Xbox when I was 11 - this trailer brought tears to my eyes and I can't believe I'm actually gonna get to pick up my copy of the one game I've always wanted more than any other on Tuesday 😭😭
Just wow! It’s been so long since I finished Shenmue 2 on my Dreamcast and that feeling of devastation when I realized we weren’t getting the 3rd game. I was so surprised when I found out this was being made many years later!

@@robzalesinski471 Also, Lan Di is not the only leader of the Chi You Men. The Japanese version states he is among the leaders of the Chi You Men; there are four Chi You Men leaders. Perhaps Lan Di isn't the only person that is a threat... ;) On that note, been looking forward to meeting Niao Sun ever since her announcement after Shenmue II.
@@robzalesinski471 Niao Sun is one of the four leaders. They changed her hair color and outfit for the new version compared to the original model they showed off back when Dreamcast was alive.
James Christian I hope to see Master Baihu in the game again. That character needs more game time than the 5 mins he got in Shenmue 2 a very intriguing character

And as far as I'm concerned, it can go either way as Shenmue 3 has been receiving a lot of attention from many gaming publishers that people follow regularly. I can confidently say these individuals will be waiting, because none of us will know right away what the future of Shenmue is.

Shenmue 2 did flop. Thats why we had to wait almost 20 years for Shenmue 3 because of kickstarter. After what happened with mighty no.9 dont think they can use kickstarter anymore

I'm 41 . I didn't play shenmue 1,2 back then because I didn't have dreamcast Only playstation. I played them before 2 months and I really enjoyed them . I hope the shenmue 3 will be as good as shenmue 1 and 2 .

it really amazes me with how easily franchises are ruined these days the amount of loyalty and understanding from yu Suzuki and team to recreate what was great about Shenmue and be able to bring it back to life. i'm very excited to say the least

@@civicpride1986 I mean it's also possible that wont be good. People calling games masterpieces before they even come out is really dumb and just makes you look like a blind fan. plus, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment if it turns out to be anything less than a masterpiece.

I'm very sure that this game will be a new Masterpiece from Yu Suzuki. I love his games so much. It's so awesome that we are soooooooo close after almost two decades. I'm very excited and i want to dive in the World of Shenmue again. :-)

Gosh can't believe it's been 18 years. I remember buying the import version of Shenmue 2 when it first came out and using a gameshark to launch it on my Dreamcast.

Can't wait! The originals were amazing in their time..... I spent hours playing through both games on the Dreamcast in Japanese.
I am away when my PS4 version turns up but may wait till the Xmas holidays to play through it?.
Really good how the slightly clunky voice work is kept in the spirit of the originals and the look and feel of the art work and design....hopefully the soundtrack is top class too!

You just know the ending to the game is when he meets Lan Di. I'd love to see LanDi going through Ryos possessions after pasting him and discovering a certain gift from Xuing Hong , the half chi symbol she split with her brother , that would be the perfect ending. 🤗

That stiff robotic voice brought me back to happy days and actually made me feel Christmas for some reason.
OMG this is 100x better than Death stranding and this game was a kickstarter with a hell of a lot less money behind it. This game looks so good and fun even unique. Yu sazuki changed the gaming industry 20 years ago and without this creator you wouldn't have had GTA 3 or QTE and he's done it again now. i'm fed up with all these mainstream games and i needed something better. Thank you yu. :)

I guess I can finally help Ryo avenge his Father after nearly 20 years. I was just a 10 year old kid playing the game back then. Still got to play the 2nd Shenmue because the English version never came out on SEGA Dreamcast & never owned an xbox original. But I got the HD collection of Shenmue on PS4 which I never thought would happen let alone a 3rd game!!
