So let me get this straight: Ryo has been training and fighting against all kinds of people for 3 Shenmues. He fights Lan Di and ends up getting a two piece snack from Lan Di. He doesn’t even get a hit or scratch on this guy. I’m curious if they do come out with Shenmue 4, how the heck is Ryo going to beat Lan Di? They need to add Chuck Norris at this point. Ryo ain’t beating Lan Di.
If Ryo only romanced Nozomi, Joy, or master Lishao Tao when he had the chance before he would probably landed many hits and maybe taken Lan Di down by now but he doesnt make time to do that he's just so in a hurry to get revenge from Lan Di he comes in all unprepared and loses.
At this point, Ryo needs to visit his local gun store, and just plug Lan Di from a distance. His Karate is worthless against the guy. He needs divine intervention, or intervention which proceeds from the end of a barrel. ✨🗿✨
After all these years we FINALLY had a shot at Lan di, but to no avail! Ryo was just very lucky he even survived. Perhaps in Shenmue 4 he'll do better.
Imagine getting to the point where he finds Lan DI, after 20 years, and you think that the story should go on. Pathetic. This story was worthless, he's no better against Lan Di as he was in the dojo, everything in the last two games were a waste of time.
In Shenmue 1, Ryo was the tough guy in town and you could get through the entire game without losing a single fight. Shenmue 2 is responsible for bringing you back to reality: Ryo is years, maybe decades, from defeating Lan Di. Why was Shenmue 3 going to be different? Not even 6 months have passed since the battle at the dojo.
@@GamerSaeM Edit: found it; it's the $10,000 backer reward. Shenmue 3 was funded on Kickstarter. People who put money in this way are called backers, and often a reward for doing stuff like that is to get yourself directly referenced in the project. Having not played the game myself I don't know if there are random westerners throughout the game, but that one room seemed to be full of them, and I wondered if they were Kickstarter backers who had donated enough to have their likenesses put in or something.
1998: You're no match for Lan Di.
2001: You're no match for Lan Di.
2020: You were no match for Lan Di.
3216: You finally scratched his cheek.
I agree, they should have ended the story in this one
maaan i been waiting to see em get that @$$ for years! poor Ryo.
@@loremaster8475 yeah that definitely pissed a lot of people off
Lan di will die of old age before ryo can get his revenge on him.
@@sazzstar3434 😂
ANOTHER cliffhanger :(
Maybe my grand kids will know the end of this tale.
I know right? Kind of stupid that after 20 years, it still didn't end. What are they smoking?
been waiting for this legendary fight for nearly damn 20 years since 1999 first saga dreamcast shenmue 1
Ryo will never avenge the Hazuki name as honor 😒
would be a twist if Ryo bowed to Lan Di to be his teacher and learn how to beat him by becoming him. Oh snap Ryo is Breaking bad!
I think if that woman didn't set the place on fire lan Di would have killed Ryo
Yes, and also if Ren didn't help him out.
After witnessing this I wouldnt even buy this game at the 99 cents store if they had it, it's a total dissapointment.

I mean it makes sense why he don’t beat him the first 2 games they keep telling him he ain’t ready lol

Moral....revenge is best left to Karma
Ok this scene has Shenmue 2 rooftop fighting scene, so I love it
thanks
Ryo should have gone to Thailand before confronting Lan Di. Everyone knows that Muay Thai is superior to Kung fu.
haha true! but then I guess in Japan you learn Jiu jitsu right? lol
Or better, visit the US and learn about Glock-Fu.

I think it all be dope if Ryo not only learns about the romance of the three kingdoms and learns the philosophies of Wei, Wu and Shu
Anyone else thinks that Lan Di is handsome? No? Just me? Okay...... 🌚
Jenny RH i think shenhua is cute! :)
Saeng Saelee I think she’s cute too. I like Lan Di more tho! 😆😂🤣
@@BratzFanz123 Ok I like Ren!
I think he has the same cast with Yakuza and kenshiro on fist of the north star

It's not just the finale, they treated Shenmue III like a filler episode.
I think fight mechanic look better on shenmue | and shenmue ||
...is 8:40 you fighting a bunch of Kickstarter backers or something?
kickstarter backer? I dont know what that means sorry
