It's an interesting experiment. I'm curious how you'd deal with the miscut cards if you crack them out of their SGC holders, submit them to PSA, and PSA decides they don't meet the min size. Would you consider sending them back to SGC for grading? Is there any profit margin at that point?
The cards you are spending good money on are largely undesirable in the market. Don’t throw good money after bad by regrading any. I was cringing every time you said that. Take a lesson from what other veterans are trying to tell you: avoid off-center and badly miscut cards and focus on well centered ones. You violated the first rule of grading by sending in cards that are not worth the money to grade.
PSA says that some cards are min size, the guy confirms that they are cut small, and SGC grades them. 100% guaranteed that the SGC shillers will figure out a way to criticize PSA.
I just got a small submission back, and feel like I got a bit of a generous grade on my '60 Yaz which pulled a 4. I think you did really well with your subs.
Nice reveal. You definitely got a generous grader, they let a lot of stuff go. I do think that the min size cards should be able to get a grade but have a qualifier. Potential buyer/collectors need to know what they are getting. Congrats!
I don’t see any reason to regrade most of those cards - the eye appeal on majority are really poor. They’re all miscut so badly the grades would be pretty irrelevant to me. Those 2.5s could regrade a 5 and I wouldn’t pay anything for them. Really pointless to resubmit them to psa. Lesson should be just don’t buy raw miscut cards to begin with to submit to any grading company
PSA is an overpriced joke. You can send a card to psa and reci3ve a 7. Then you can send the same card back to 0sa and recieve a 10. exactly how does psa charge more for cardsbthan cgc charges for comics. Boycott psa. Not worth it. To grade a card cost the exact same amount no matter the value. Not according to psa. I won't send anything to psa or buy anything with a psa label. They are not a good grading company . Even though they have become the gold standard among dealers . It's only b3cause they have been around for a long time. Their grading is very inaccurate.
Honestly I will not give PSA Please Submit Again my business anymore horrible service and graders are much more consistent. give SGC THE more people go to SGC THERE cards value will go up.
Hi. You’ve already spent 15 on each of these largely unattractive and not very desirable miscut cards. Now you’re gonna crack them and spend another 20-something to send them to psa, plus all the shipping, in the hopes of doing better, for a few dollars more in sales, which will be negated by your expenses and fees. Not to even mention the long wait for your cards to come back from psa in a diminishing market. Not a great business model.
Normally I would have just sent them to PSA to begin with but it's all good I'm doing it as an experiment at this point. Diminishing market? The vintage market is not as volatile as modern I should be fine.
@@Justin_Time_Delivery Why? There are better grading companies out there that actually explain why they graded an item as such. PSA just takes your money, no ownership of why and yet basically set prices depending upon their grading system with no explanation.

After that I would just sell it raw.
Makes no sense to send miscut cards to psa. They don’t give qualifiers often, just won’t grade them or give a 1/2.
Watch my previous videos I have gotten a ton of miscut qualifiers with consistency. Stay tuned you will see

I'm regarding two of them as a test. New video to come 🤓

Good grade. Yea I was happy with it

The internet made PSA expensive
Its the same price as everyone else.
To my untrained eye the 1961 Hank Aaron looks as though it was trimmed and the 1961 Mickey Mantle most definitely was trimmed!
Interesting thanks for the comment
Welcome back
Thanks

I've sold muscut cards for higher premiums with a decent grade. It's worth the $15 for me.

Miss your pokemon grading videos!
I did one but got barely any views. 🥲

Any of these for sale?
Yes some are up on ebay.

Please listen to this man, he’s giving you some hard earned wisdom.
Thus turned into a crap on sgc video. Makes no sense. You're sending in miscut cards most people wouldnt grade and expect sgc to be generous.
I wasn't expecting that since they don't do qualifiers.
Boycott PSA
Good luck with that 🤣🤣

Sgc misgeades to much
Are you kidding me! If any grader misgrades, it's psa....
