This motor must be manufactured by Qihang? Based on the QH stamped on the rotor. If at all possible, I'd be very interested to see a teardown of the Engwe Engine Pro 750w motor, which I believe is manufactured by Xiongda. Particularly the first generation of the bike with the green colored KD986 display and the grey colored, 4, soft touch button keypad. Specifically to learn about the regen (Engwe calls it "I-ERS") feature and how they accomplish regen in a geared hub motor. Great video!!! Thanks

Things I've found from owning this:
The front headlight mount is weak, it's mounted with a thin plastic piece that easily breaks off if you push on it from the side.
Think the charger in the video has been updated since this videos publishing, I recieved mine in September and it still had the old one in the video, but there's supposedly an updated one out now.
The bottom key holder easily gets dirt on your keys when riding through dirt.

That's normal for me when the bike is fully loaded. I get 23 miles on my 13ah battery, that's with mostly level 5 pedal assist or just plain old throttle use on the long stretches for a mini rest. I'm an incredibly lazy rider, these bikes weigh a ton. There's me (105kg), bike is nearly 40kg, spare 16ah battery, spare puncture kit, spare pump, tools for wheel & tyre removal, rain poncho, tyres have 250ml's of Weldtite puncture cream each it all adds up, they're like tanks and we love them for it. lol BTW, my battery indicator still reads 100% when nearly empty so an iffy controller but I don't care, just go by miles. Finally, the 16ah battery is only a minor improvement on distance, hence why I use the 13ah first, the 16ah will always get me home, these beasts are no joke under pedal power!!

@@Peter_Sweden When you fold the bike, all the front end weight is on the area behind the hinge, yeh, when it snapped you could see the alloy the frame is made from is pretty cheap soft metal.

There are 10-15 of engwe bikes. And it's all broken. Brake system display, chains, footrest, motor, controller. Nothing remains intact. Service support is unbelievably bad. They cannot solve problems. The Chinese company sells bikes for cheap, but definitely don't buy it. Bicycles break down in the rain. I don't know what to do, I think I'm going to throw it all away.
