- A Time-lapse Video about the creation of a small futuristic building.
I modeled and textured this building in Blender 20.11.2012.

This goes to show that blenders power is in Keyboard Shortcuts. Learn your shortcuts boys and girls ;) Absolutely amazing btw thanks so much for the killer time-lapse.
Thank you! Modelagem magnífica!
respect! God bless you! so amazing
really nice to see from you once more!
Beautiful job.
Impressive !
Amazing!!!
awesome
Wow! Total super! Da kann man wirklich sehr viel lernen. :-) Ich brauche fast Wochen für ein kleines Gebäude.
Deine Methode ist wesentlich besser als meine:D
ich danke dir für die beschreibung:) klappt super:)
good, but WTF going in the end?
Looks like he was just excited at how good it turned out lol
I wish i was as good as you doing this :)
i wish i have talent like u
super arbeit ich liebe deine videos:)
sag mal wie machst du die rundungen von den rohren? ich hab da zwar meine eigende methode aber ich glaube deine ist besser.
ctrl+f/triangulate faces and ctrl+f/wireframe. Nice use of that feature BTW
Wow! How did you doe the trick at 12:30? the framework looks nice (the whole building is nice !)
amazing! great model
you mind to explain how did you created the antenna tower? i didn't got what you did to split the faces diagonally and create the frame for it
thanks
***** thanks!
Felipe SD For the frame i used the Wire frame function.
In Edit Mode select all faces with [a], and hit [Ctrl] and [F] and select Wire frame.
But today I would use a Modifier-setup like this:
3dartdh.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=2781
1- Triangulate Modifier
Quad Method = Fixed
2- Wireframe Modifier
Thickness = 0.14
Offset = 0.0
hope it helps
But wireframe creates a more "clean" polys model right?
you can slow it to 0.25 to follow the steps
How did you add the new edges from the corners of the windows to the corners of the walls to keep it all quads? Is there a shortcut for it?
First, I deleted all the windows up on a window, then I separated the last window with [P] > [Selection] from the wall mesh to get a separate object for the windows. At 0:31 I Duplicate this object with [ALT] + [D].
I have worked with the Grid Floor, so I only need to hold the [Ctrl] when I move a window, so the corners of the windows fit into the corners in the wall perfectly.
podrías crear ambientes para vídeo juegos :D te felicito
Putain!!!! le rendu final bordel!!!!
So like are you ever going to post a full tutorial?
How did he edit all the windows at the same time?
This is awesome, how did you construct the curves along the piping? It doesn't look like you just extruded it, nor did you use a bezier.
+Joshua Hedges Looks like he's using the Spin option on the left toolbar. You basically select the areas you want to curve and place the 3d cursor in the direction you want to them to curve to. Then you can use the Spin tool on the left to make them curve towards the 3d cursor placement, there are a few options there.
Awesome that's great, thanks.
How did you simultaneously model all windows? did you use the array modifier?
Use individual origins as your pivot point, grab all the frames and begin extruding and scaling.
Would you mind posting the normal speed version please? :)
David Boura If you slow it down to 0.25 you can understand what he's doing fairly easily
Taizeen M. it's already true, but you miss lot of tips
+Taizeen M. 2.5 is quite fast
When you slow down a speed-up video you loose tones of frames.
How did you bend the tubes?
+Himlajchan Looks like he's using the Spin option on the left toolbar. You basically select the areas you want to curve and place the 3d cursor in the direction you want to them to curve to. render!!!!
Nice workflow. Although I wouldn't necesserily call 70th Soviet style "futuristic ghetto" ;))
Ghetto or simple building in Russia
