I know most of my subscribers loved STARK the Musical but today I bring you something new! This song is based off of the Dream SMP, a storyline that takes place on a Minecraft server (Yes, I'm a nerd. I love super heroes, Minecraft, you name it.) I noticed some people online were writing such beautiful songs for the storyline and I thought, why not partake in it as well? I've seen songs about Wilbur, Eret, and Tubbo, but not a whole ton about Tommy, who is one of the main characters. I thought it was about time he got a song, so here it is: Tommy's internal conflict. Does he stick with his dear friend and brother figure, and blow up the land they were exiled from, the place their friends live in and the place they once lived in as well, or does he do the right thing, and put it all to a stop?

@@cairnarunir there’s a bunch of recap videos on evanmcgaming’s channel but while he’s catching up, he’s not entirely up to date. I would still recommend watching a few streams and videos after you finish the recap like some of quackitys newest streams because the recap hasn’t completely caught up to them yet.

Imagine this song as a musical number and on "let's be the bad guys" and "let's burn it all to the ground" there's a duet/harmony on those lines between Tommy and Wilbur and it would be beautiful
I also feel like I should add that when Wilbur says "killing him so off abrubtly in the long run it would stand for nothing" they sing the same note like they agree and it symbolizes how Tommy agreed with him at first but realize that Wilbur was losing it and was disagreeing with him (aka the harmony)

I don’t know if you did this on purpose, but I actually adore how someone (for me, Wilbur) is echoing the last of the lines at 3:17. When Wilbur echoes “to go back” he’s talking about how L’Manburg was before Schlatt even was on the server, with walls up and on the defensive. When he was in absolute control. I also think that when Wilbur echoes Tommy’s “take it back” he’s talking about L’Manburg as a place instead of what it stood for. That, or the dynamite that was stolen 😓 When Tommy says it, I think he means L’Manburg’s glory and freedom while Wilbur only sees it now as a place he needs for his own honor. When Wilbur echoes “don’t turn your back on me” maybe he’s saying that as a demand or order, not a plea, like Tommy. He’s gone mad at this point and clinging to whatever power he has left, while Tommy obviously means to not go against everything they worked for and Tommy himself. Maybe I’m overanalyzing everything, maybe this wasn’t even planned, but I just love it so much 🥺

I got randomly recommended this song and I had no idea who or what it was about, but I was so intrigued I decided I needed to find out. I’m back here several hours later after watching the whole of Tommy’s war and l’manburg playlists to say that this is amazingly done and incorporates so many good lines, and you absolutely nailed the portrayal of the dramatic shift in tone.

Yeah, I love this song and listen to it a lot, and most of it can relate to a lot of people's storylines. It can be used for Tommy's foolishness, Quackity and Fundy persuading Tubbo to join them in the butcher army, Ghostbur, even how suspicious Dream has been since Tubbo became president. Tbh I find Dream's part really interesting right now, he's either got something up his sleeve or he's not, both are equally terrifying, for opposite reasons.
